# Check what Lumina knows about your hotel

Read the hotel facts, brand guidance and documents that help Lumina answer and write.

Context holds the information Lumina uses about your hotel. Checking it helps you understand why an answer or a draft says what it does. If the restaurant name or a room detail is wrong, correct that information instead of fixing it in every new draft.

## Start with the source

Context is the hotel knowledge behind the work. Its categories cover the property, offering, guests, competitors and market, strategy and execution. Open a category to inspect the material behind its summary.

The overview can also show missing information. A gap is a prompt to supply or research something, not an invitation to let generated copy invent it.

## Brand kit and documents

The Brand kit contains the hotel’s identity and writing information, including available colours and voice guidance. Documents holds the source material available in the workspace.

Use source editors through Property setup where your role permits. When a document is out of date, update the source rather than repeatedly correcting the same fact in generated pieces.



## Keep facts and preferences distinct

A room’s features are hotel facts. “Use sentence case in headings” is a writing preference. A campaign’s target guest is a brief decision. Put each in the appropriate place so a temporary instruction does not become a permanent rule.

1. Confirm the current property.
2. Read the relevant Context category and Brand kit.
3. Open the source documents that matter to the brief.
4. Correct missing or stale information through the permitted setup controls.
5. Return to the content tool with the confirmed details.

## Common questions

### Where should I correct a wrong hotel fact?

Update the hotel information or source document through Property setup if your role allows it. Check already saved content separately; changing a source does not rewrite every existing draft.

### Where should I put a writing preference?

Use Learned for a preference that should guide future work. Keep a one-off request, such as mentioning this Friday’s event, in the brief for that piece.
