# What is Lumina? Use guest research and hotel knowledge to plan a campaign, create its content and keep improving the work. Lumina helps hotel teams decide what to say and make the content to say it. It brings guest reviews, hotel facts, brand guidance, campaign planning and editable drafts into one workspace. Start with a question about your guests, then work through a plan to the articles, emails, social posts or ads you need. Where to find it: Start in Concierge, Intelligence or one of the creation tools in the sidebar. ## What can I do with Lumina? Find a reason for a guest to choose your hotel. Read what couples, families and other guests value, then open the original reviews behind a finding. Use the hotel’s confirmed information to decide what you can credibly say. Turn that choice into a campaign. Give the work an audience, a purpose and a shared brief. Plan the pieces it needs, then open each one in its creation tool. Make work you can use and revise. Choose the language and market, review the plan, edit the words and images, and save the result in Library. You keep the final decision about what to publish. ![Audience research: compare themes by kind of stay and open the supporting evidence](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/_lumina/assets/product-docs/audiences-retina-20261012.webp) Audience research: compare themes by kind of stay and open the supporting evidence. Recorded in Lumina, October 2026. ## How does one real job work? Imagine you need an autumn campaign for couples. You need a reason to visit, a newsletter, an article and a few social posts. Here is how you can work through it in Lumina. 1. Open the couples’ guest profile in Intelligence. Read the reviews behind a theme and decide which finding is useful for this campaign. 2. Ask Concierge to help develop that finding into a story. Check the supporting hotel facts in Context, including any dates, offers or facilities you want to mention. 3. Create the campaign in Atelier. Review its brief and positioning, then use Plan to decide which pieces to make. 4. Open a planned piece in its creation tool. Choose its language and market, review the proposed plan, create the draft and edit its words and pictures. 5. Save the pieces in Library and add them to the content calendar as needed. Download the finished work for the platforms where you will publish it. ![Start a newsletter with a brief, audience, occasion and traveller market](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/_lumina/assets/product-docs/newsletter-retina-20261012.webp) The newsletter workspace. Start with a brief or choose an idea, then review the plan before creating a draft. Recorded in Lumina, October 2026. ## What stays useful for the next job? The next campaign starts with the same hotel’s maintained information, rather than a new collection of loose documents. Context holds the property facts and brand guidance. Intelligence gives you guest research to investigate. Library holds the drafts and images you have already worked on. A useful writing correction can last too. Keep it in Learned so it can guide future Concierge replies, articles and newsletters. For example, keep “Use our full restaurant name” as a lasting preference, while a date-specific offer belongs in that campaign’s brief. ## How would a hotel team or agency use it? For a hotel team, start with one job you already need to finish: next month’s newsletter, a seasonal campaign or a website article. Put the hotel’s source material in Context and follow the relevant guide. For an agency or hotel group, select the property you are working on. Check its research, facts and brand guidance before planning its content. Switch between the hotels your account can access, and review each property’s work in its own context. ## Common questions ### Is Lumina only a text generator? No. Writing is one part of it. Lumina also helps you understand guest research, plan campaigns, work with images and organise saved content. ### Will it publish or send content automatically? Creating or downloading a draft does not send an email, publish a social post or launch an ad. Review the work and complete publication through the appropriate platform. ### What is a brief? A brief is a short description of the piece or campaign you want to make. It tells Lumina who it is for, what it should say and any facts or conditions it must include. ### How is Lumina different from using Claude or ChatGPT? Claude and ChatGPT can help you analyse material and write. Lumina provides a hotel-specific workflow around that work: maintained property information, guest research, campaign briefs, creation tools and saved editable content. You can move from choosing a guest insight to making the campaign’s pieces without assembling those tools and records yourself. ### What should I look for in my first trial? Bring a real job and the hotel information it needs. Check whether the research helps you choose a useful story, whether the brief is clear and whether the draft needs less back-and-forth to become usable. Review the facts, voice and images. Measure publishing and commercial results in your own channels; creating a draft alone does not prove a booking uplift. ## Continue reading - [Create your first newsletter](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/getting-started/) - [Find out what guests say](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/reviews/) - [Plan a hotel marketing campaign](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/campaigns/) - [Teach Lumina your writing preferences](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/learned/) --- # Create your first newsletter Write a hotel newsletter, check its subject and images, and save a draft you can edit. Start with one email you actually need to send. Tell Lumina who it is for and what is happening at the hotel. It uses the hotel information in your workspace to help you plan and write the email. Where to find it: In the sidebar, open Newsletters under Create. ## Before you start Check the hotel name in the property switcher. Then open Context to check the facts the email needs: the restaurant name, room details, event dates or offer conditions. You do not need to describe the whole hotel again. Add the details of this particular email and any information that must be included. ## Create and review the draft 1. Open Newsletters under Create in the sidebar. 2. Describe the piece: the reason to visit, the intended guest, the occasion and the action you want the reader to take. Include dates and offer terms when they matter. 3. Choose the Language and Traveller market. Select a guest type if the email is for a particular audience. 4. Select See the plan and review the Creative brief. If you change the brief or settings, use Update plan. 5. Select Create draft. Read the subject, preheader and email body together, then inspect the images. 6. Edit anything that needs changing. Save the draft so you can find it again in Library. ![Choose the audience for a newsletter before creating the draft](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/_lumina/assets/product-docs/composer-retina-20261012.webp) Choose the audience for a newsletter before creating the draft. Recorded in Lumina, October 2026. ## A useful first brief A brief is a short description of what you want to make. Tell Lumina who the email is for, what it should say and what the reader should do next. For example: Replace the restaurant and breakfast details with facts confirmed for your hotel. ```text Create an English newsletter for couples planning an autumn weekend. Lead with the hotel’s courtyard restaurant and a late Sunday breakfast. Use the restaurant information in Context. Do not invent a package price or promise late checkout. End with an invitation to explore the rooms. ``` ## Check the result Read the email as a guest would. Does the subject give a reason to open it? Does the body explain the hotel’s offer or story? Check the links, dates, room names and images. When the draft is ready, download it for your email platform. Choose the recipients and send the email there. ## Common questions ### Do I need to write a detailed prompt? No. Start with who the newsletter is for and the reason you are sending it. Add the facts that must appear, such as an event date or an offer. You can review and change the plan before creating the draft. ### Will Lumina send the email for me? Creating or downloading a newsletter does not send it. Review the draft and use your email platform to choose recipients and send it. ## Continue reading - [Check what Lumina knows about your hotel](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/context/) - [Edit, restore and download content](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/editing/) - [Find your saved content and images](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/library/) --- # Find your way around Lumina Know where to ask a question, plan a campaign, create content and find your saved work. Lumina keeps your hotel research and marketing work in one workspace. You can ask a question in Concierge, plan a campaign in Atelier, create an article or email, and find saved work in Library. Where to find it: Use the sidebar and the property switcher. ## Choose the right place | Item | What it means | | --- | --- | | Home | Start a request or return to recent work. | | Concierge | Ask questions, work with files and request changes. | | Atelier | Plan campaigns and work on their pieces. Its views include the calendar and enabled planning tools. | | Library | Find saved content and images. | | Create | Open the dedicated article, newsletter, social or ad tool. | | Intelligence | Explore guest, competitor, market, website and search research. | | Context | Read the hotel knowledge, brand kit and documents behind your work. | ## Switch properties Use the property switcher to move to another hotel you can access. Your current property is marked in the menu. The menu also provides Property setup and property management where your role allows them. Switch first, then begin the request. Check the property name again when moving between hotels with similar branding. ## Return to a conversation Recents keeps your conversation history within reach. Open a conversation to continue it. Its menu offers naming, pinning and removal controls; the list can also be filtered and collapsed. The workspace may show fewer tools than a teammate’s account. Property permissions and enabled features determine which entries are available. For example, Sitemap, Content plans, Audience Playbook and Heritage are not enabled everywhere. ## Find work and follow progress Use the search in the app header to find a page, tool, saved piece or conversation. Open Inbox to follow work being created and return to a finished draft when it is ready to review. ## Common questions ### Where should I start? If you already know what you need, open the relevant creation tool. If you are still deciding what to say, start with a question in Concierge or look at the guest research in Intelligence. ### Can I work with more than one hotel? Yes, when your account has access to more than one property. Use the property switcher before starting work so Lumina uses the right hotel information. ## Continue reading - [Ask Concierge about your hotel](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/concierge/) - [Update your hotel information](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/property-setup/) - [Find a page, piece or conversation](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/app-search/) - [Follow work in Inbox](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/inbox/) --- # Ask Concierge about your hotel Use your hotel research to answer a question or improve the content you are working on. Concierge helps you think through hotel marketing with the relevant information in reach. Ask it to explain guest feedback, compare guest types or improve a piece of content. Open it from a review, chart or piece of content to continue with the information you were looking at. Where to find it: Open Concierge in the sidebar. ## Start with a question Concierge works with the selected hotel’s context. Ask for an explanation of a guest theme, compare audiences or develop a campaign angle. A useful question names the decision you are trying to make. When you open Concierge from a chart, table or review, it receives the relevant information you were looking at. You can continue the conversation without rewriting the table or review you were looking at. ## Choose the depth of the answer Use Auto, Fast or Thorough in the mode picker. Auto chooses the approach; Fast is useful for a direct question; Thorough gives the request more room for investigation. Open the + menu for Add files or photos, Add from Context, or Deep Research. Deep Research is a separate request for a cited report from live web research. Review the report’s sources and dates before using its claims. ## Ask about the work you have open Use the Ask control inside a piece to request a copy change. Use Concierge inside an Atelier canvas to change its brief, connections or outputs. Use the contextual action on a review or chart to ask about that evidence. The general Ask Concierge button in the app header opens Concierge. It does not automatically give the assistant editing control over everything on the page. For a picture change, use the piece’s Images controls; a copy revision does not replace the picture. ![A sentiment-chart question opens in Concierge with the selected figures attached](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/_lumina/assets/product-docs/concierge-retina-20261012.webp) A question about the sentiment chart opens in Concierge with the selected figures attached. Recorded in Lumina, October 2026. ## Bring supporting material Attach a relevant file when a question depends on information outside the hotel’s stored context. Explain what you want extracted, compared or used. A spreadsheet request should name the columns and the decision, rather than just asking for “insights”. A file in a conversation is not the same thing as a maintained hotel source. Use Context and Property setup for material that should remain part of the hotel’s knowledge. ## Continue later Return through Recents to continue the same thread. Rename a conversation when the default title no longer makes its purpose clear. Pin the ones you use repeatedly. For lasting writing preferences, review the notes in Context, then Learned. A correction in a conversation and a kept rule have different lifetimes. ## Common questions ### What can I ask Concierge? Ask a question you would put to someone helping with hotel marketing. For example: “What do couples value about our rooms?” or “Help me shorten the opening of this newsletter.” ### Can I add a document? Yes. Open the plus menu and choose Add files or photos, or Add from Context for a document already in the workspace. Say what you want Concierge to do with it. ## Continue reading - [Teach Lumina your writing preferences](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/learned/) - [Edit, restore and download content](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/editing/) - [Find out what guests say](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/reviews/) --- # Understand your hotel’s research Find out what guests value, compare hotels and choose what to investigate before making content. Before writing a campaign, decide which reason to visit is worth talking about. Intelligence brings together guest reviews, guest types, competitor information, market research and website findings. Read the evidence behind a theme, then use it to choose a story your hotel can support. Where to find it: Open Intelligence in the sidebar. ## Begin with a question Intelligence groups the hotel’s research into Overview, Reviews, Audiences, Competitors, Market, Website and Search. Start in the tab that matches the decision: guest language for a newsletter, competing hotel offers, or a page that needs attention. ## Check the filters before comparing Check the selected period and any topic, platform, source-market or audience filters. Where comparison series are available, you can inspect the current period alongside the previous period or competitors. A blank cell or an empty panel means the selected view has no displayed evidence. Widen the filters or inspect the underlying source before drawing a conclusion. ## Read the information behind a finding 1. Select a chart point, table cell, topic or result with a detail view. 2. Read the source material and the scope shown in that detail. 3. Use the view’s Concierge action to ask a follow-up question with that context. 4. Export from the relevant view when you need to work with its records elsewhere. ## Check what each number describes Guest-review sentiment, search visibility and market indicators describe different data. Do not treat them as a shared score or a direct measure of bookings. Check the units, source and period alongside the number. ## Common questions ### How can research help me write a better email? It can help you choose a specific detail that matters to the guest. Read what guests say about a topic, then use a confirmed hotel fact to build the story around it. ### What if a chart has no results? Check the date range and filters. An empty view means there are no results in that selection; it does not mean guests have no opinion about the topic. ## Continue reading - [Find out what guests say](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/reviews/) - [Understand different types of guest](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/audiences/) - [Find useful questions to write about](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/search/) --- # Find out what guests say Read the original guest reviews behind a theme before using it in your hotel marketing. A review score can tell you that guests like the rooms. The written reviews can tell you why: perhaps the beds, the view or the quiet. Lumina groups the reviews so you can investigate those details and read what guests actually said. Where to find it: Open Intelligence and choose Reviews. ## Find the detail behind a review theme Reviews groups guest feedback into themes and subtopics. Open a theme to inspect its original reviews, then choose a subtopic to narrow the evidence. This is useful when a broad label such as Rooms hides several different issues. For example, a room theme can include the bed, the view, noise and bathroom amenities. Read the relevant subtopic before deciding which detail belongs in your content. ![Review trends: compare guest ratings and sentiment over time](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/_lumina/assets/product-docs/reviews-retina-20261012.webp) Review trends: compare guest ratings and sentiment over time. Recorded in Lumina, October 2026. ## Inspect a review set 1. Select the period and filters in Intelligence. 2. Open the theme you want to investigate. 3. Choose a subtopic, or keep the full theme selected. 4. Use the review explorer’s search, rating, language and sort controls to refine the displayed records. 5. Read the original text and source. Load further reviews when available. ## Export or ask a follow-up Use Export reviews in the explorer to download the selected review set. The export follows the current scope; it is not a download of every review ever collected for the hotel. Use the contextual Concierge action to ask what the evidence means for your next piece. Check the underlying reviews when the answer summarises a pattern. ## Compare like with like When comparing time periods or competitors, keep the chosen theme and filters in mind. A change in the review mix can affect a summary. Missing data is not a zero score. ## Common questions ### Can I read the original review? Yes. Open a theme or subtopic in the review explorer and read the original guest text. You can narrow the selection with the available search and filters. ### Can I download the reviews I selected? Use Export reviews in the explorer. It downloads the current selection, so check the filters before exporting. ## Continue reading - [Understand different types of guest](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/audiences/) - [Ask Concierge about your hotel](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/concierge/) --- # Understand different types of guest Compare what couples, families and other guests value, then use those differences in your content. The same hotel can mean different things to different guests. Couples may talk about quiet rooms, while families focus on space. Use Audiences to compare those patterns and read the guest profiles before choosing a message. Where to find it: Open Intelligence and choose Audiences. ## Read the differences The audience view combines guest types with review evidence. Use the table of themes and guest types to inspect what matters to different kinds of stay, then open a guest profile for its motivations and supporting information. A couples’ break and a family holiday can value the same hotel for different reasons. The profile helps you choose an angle; it does not identify individual future guests. ![Audience research: compare themes by kind of stay and open the supporting evidence](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/_lumina/assets/product-docs/audiences-retina-20261012.webp) Audience research: compare themes by kind of stay and open the supporting evidence. Recorded in Lumina, October 2026. ## Create content for a guest type 1. Open Audiences and set the research filters. 2. Select a matrix cell to inspect the reviews behind that combination. 3. Open a guest type and read its full profile. 4. Use the available Atelier or Concierge action to develop content for that guest type. ## Check who the findings describe Audience proportions and sentiment describe the hotel’s available evidence. They are not a forecast of next month’s bookings. Read small or missing samples with care. Choose All guests in a content tool when you want a general piece. Choose a specific guest type when the angle, examples and call to action should speak to that audience. ## Common questions ### Are these profiles individual guests? No. They describe types of guest using the available research. Use them to plan the message, not to identify or contact a particular person. ### What if my content is for everyone? Choose All guests in the creation tool. Select a specific guest type when the message or examples should speak to that audience. ## Continue reading - [Plan a hotel marketing campaign](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/campaigns/) - [Choose a campaign idea with Audience Playbook](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/playbook/) --- # Compare your hotel with other hotels Look at the differences that matter to guests and decide what your own hotel can credibly say. Use the competitor research to compare your hotel with the hotels included in your workspace. Investigate a specific difference, such as rooms, service or location, rather than trying to win on every measure. Where to find it: Open Intelligence and choose Competitors. ## What do you want to compare? Compare your hotel with the competitors included in its research. Choose something specific, such as rooms, service or location, and open the detail behind the comparison. Check which hotels are included. A selected competitor set is a research scope, not a claim to represent the entire local market. ## Investigate a difference 1. Select a consistent period and competitor scope. 2. Open the dimension or hotel you want to inspect. 3. Read the available source material, including website or ad references where provided. 4. Ask Concierge about a specific difference and its relevance to your hotel. ## Use the evidence in a brief Name the distinction you want to communicate and support it with your own hotel’s facts. Seeing another hotel promote a spa package does not establish that the package sells well. When prices or offers appear, check their dates and currency before using them in a comparison. Public competitor material can change after collection. ## Common questions ### Does this show which competitor campaign worked best? The research can show published material and the comparisons available in your workspace. An ad or offer being visible does not tell you its sales or advertising return. ## Continue reading - [Plan around seasons and local events](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/market/) - [Plan a hotel marketing campaign](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/campaigns/) --- # Plan around seasons and local events Use market research to find relevant dates and reasons for guests to visit your hotel. A local festival or a change of season can give you a reason to contact guests. Market brings those planning opportunities together with the available research. Check the dates and the hotel’s own plans before turning an opportunity into an offer. Where to find it: Open Intelligence and choose Market. ## Choose a planning question Use Market when timing matters: an event weekend, a quieter period, or a seasonal reason to visit. Inspect the available demand, seasonality and event views, then open the details behind a point of interest. ## Check what the chart measures Check the source, date range, units and currency next to a chart. A hotel price, an event date and a demand indicator each answer a different question. A local event is a possible editorial occasion. It does not establish that your hotel has availability, a ticket allocation or a partnership with its organisers. ## Make the brief concrete 1. Open the event or market signal you want to use. 2. Verify dates and location in the source. 3. Ask Concierge to develop an angle for the relevant guest type. 4. Add confirmed hotel details and any offer conditions before generating the campaign. ## Keep event facts current Before publication, recheck changing details such as opening times, programme, ticket availability and transport. Use the hotel’s approved information for packages and prices. ## Common questions ### Can I turn an event into a hotel offer? Use it as a planning opportunity, then add the hotel’s confirmed offer and conditions. Check event dates, tickets and any claimed partnership before publishing. ## Continue reading - [Plan a hotel marketing campaign](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/campaigns/) - [Put content on your calendar](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/calendar/) --- # Find and improve a website page Read a page’s findings, request a revision and review the result before updating your website. Website research helps you move from a general concern to a specific page. Find the page you want to improve, read what it currently says and ask Lumina for a revision based on your hotel’s information. Where to find it: Open Intelligence and choose Website. ## Open the page behind the summary Website analysis connects findings to individual pages. Open a page detail to inspect its current content and the available analysis. The page detail is the place to work from when a general website observation needs a specific next step. ![Website research with the hotel pages and their findings](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/_lumina/assets/product-docs/website-retina-20261012.webp) Website research shows the hotel’s pages and the findings to investigate. Recorded in Lumina, October 2026. ## Follow changes to your website The website audit keeps readings over time so you can return to a page and compare what has changed. Check the date of a reading before using it to decide what to fix. Use Check again when you need a fresh check. To include another page, open the tracking controls, enter its URL and choose Track. The page joins the next check; Track does not immediately read it. Pages you stop tracking can be brought back later. ## Request an improvement 1. Find the relevant page in Website. 2. Open its detail and read the source content. 3. Choose Fix this page where available. 4. State what should change and preserve any factual constraints from the existing page. 5. Review the resulting content and its links before exporting it. ## A revision still needs publication An improvement request creates or edits content in Lumina. It does not by itself replace the page on your live website. Use the export route available for the piece, then complete publication in your website system. Research findings are tied to the captured source. If the website has changed since collection, check the current page before acting. ## Download the whole audit Choose Download Excel to take the findings into a meeting or share them with your website team. The workbook covers the whole audit, even if you have filtered the table on screen. It includes the summary, individual pages, suggested fixes, guest fit and pages left out of tracking. When historical readings are available, the workbook also includes the weekly and page history. An export cannot include readings that have not been collected. ## Common questions ### Does Fix this page change my live website? It helps you create or revise content in Lumina. Review the result, then use the relevant export and website publishing process to update the live page. ### Does Download Excel export only the filtered pages? No. It exports the whole audit. Filter the workbook itself if you need a smaller view. ### Can I compare this week with an earlier check? Use the available history to compare readings over time. Historical sheets appear in the Excel export when those readings exist. ## Continue reading - [Review the pages of your hotel website](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/sitemap/) - [Write an article for your hotel](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/articles/) - [Edit, restore and download content](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/editing/) --- # Find useful questions to write about Use search research to choose article topics that your hotel has a useful answer to. Search shows questions and content opportunities related to your hotel. Use them to decide what deserves an article. A useful topic is one where the reader has a real question and your hotel has relevant information to answer it. Where to find it: Open Intelligence and choose Search. ## Read the question before choosing a topic Search brings queries, visibility information and article opportunities into the hotel’s research. Choose the relevant metric and open a result to see its detail. The useful question is not only whether a query exists. Ask whether the hotel has something specific and credible to say to the person making that search. ## From query to piece 1. Set the available research scope and metric. 2. Open a query or article opportunity. 3. Read the supporting information and check where it came from. 4. Use Concierge to discuss the angle, or take the opportunity into content creation. 5. Review the proposed article against the actual question and the hotel’s knowledge. ## Use estimates carefully Search measures describe the dataset and scope shown in the view. They do not guarantee traffic, ranking, AI citations or bookings. A suggested topic is a starting point for editorial judgement. Use the view’s export when you need the selected research outside Lumina. Keep its source and period with it. ## Common questions ### Will a suggested article rank in Google or appear in AI answers? No ranking or citation is guaranteed. Use the research to choose a useful question, answer it accurately and review the finished page before publishing. ## Continue reading - [Write an article for your hotel](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/articles/) - [Ask Concierge about your hotel](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/concierge/) --- # Plan a hotel marketing campaign Give a campaign one audience and purpose, then plan the articles, emails and posts it needs. Atelier helps you give a campaign one direction before making its pieces. For an autumn weekend, you might need an email, an article and social posts. Keep their audience, purpose and brief together, then open each piece to create and edit it. Where to find it: Open Atelier in the sidebar. ## Keep the campaign and its pieces together Atelier gives a campaign a shared place. Choose an audience and a concept, then develop the brief and the content that belongs to it. A newsletter, article and social post can share the same occasion without becoming copies of one another. The Plan view lists what the campaign needs. Suggested next helps you decide what to make next; the grid is another way to inspect the plan. ## Build the plan 1. Open or create the campaign in Atelier. 2. Set the audience and campaign details, then review the generated brief. 3. Open Plan to review the list of pieces. 4. Use Suggest what to make for proposed next pieces, or add a piece yourself. 5. Open a piece to work on it, then return to the campaign to continue. ## Work on one piece at a time A piece keeps its own format, content and editing state while remaining part of the campaign. Review the result where you can see it, rather than treating a completed generation as approval. Use Concierge inside Atelier for questions about the campaign or a specific piece. Describe the scope of a requested change so it is clear whether you mean one item or the whole brief. ## When the brief changes Use Edit to change a draft campaign. Save changes applies the edit; if it changes the brief, positioning or plan, Lumina first lists what it will update and asks you to Regenerate and save. Existing content drafts in Library stay as they are. Read those pieces again before using them. A different audience or offer can make an existing draft unsuitable even when its wording has not changed. ## Common questions ### What is the difference between a campaign and a single piece? A campaign holds the shared audience, purpose and brief for several pieces. A newsletter or article is one piece you can open and edit on its own. ### What happens when I change the campaign? Lumina may offer to rebuild the affected campaign analysis. Existing content drafts stay in Library, so open them and update anything that no longer fits. ## Continue reading - [Change a campaign’s direction](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/briefs/) - [Edit, restore and download content](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/editing/) - [Put content on your calendar](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/calendar/) --- # Work with a brief and its connected content See the pieces connected to a brief and review them when the campaign direction changes. The Atelier canvas shows a brief and the content connected to it. It is useful when you want to see the whole set of work in one place. You can open a piece, work on it, and return to the same canvas. Where to find it: Open Atelier, then New atelier, an inspiration template or an existing atelier. ## A connected view of the work The canvas shows a brief and its content together. Use it when you want to see which pieces depend on the same direction and work through them together. Open New atelier or start from an inspiration template. Return to an existing atelier to continue the same canvas. Campaigns have a separate Brief, Positioning, Plan and Content workflow. ![An Atelier canvas showing a brief connected to its outputs](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/_lumina/assets/product-docs/atelier-retina-20261012.webp) An Atelier canvas connects an audience and brief to planned articles, ads and newsletters. Recorded in Lumina, October 2026. ## Build the canvas with Concierge Open Concierge from the canvas to ask for changes to that canvas. You can ask it to add a brief or output, connect the parts, change an existing item, remove one, or start the connected work. Name the audience, purpose and pieces you need. Then check the canvas after the change. Read generated content in its editor before using it. ```text Build this canvas for couples visiting in autumn. Add a brief, an article and a newsletter, connect the outputs to the brief, and run the brief first. Use the hotel information already available and flag any offer details I still need to provide. ``` ## Write and run the brief 1. Open the Brief box and fill in What is this for? with the purpose, intended guest and constraints. 2. Choose Run on that box to run the brief. 3. Use Run options, then Run the brief, then every output when you want to run the connected outputs as well. 4. Open an output to inspect the finished piece and use its editing controls. Running depends on your role. An account that can view an atelier may not have permission to run its content. ## Review a changed direction After you change the brief or its inputs, look for the status beside each piece. Some pieces may not have an alignment status, so check the content itself before using it. | Item | What it means | | --- | --- | | Inputs changed | An input used by the brief has changed. | | Behind the brief | An output no longer follows the brief it was written from. | | Change to review | A prepared revision is waiting on the piece. Open it to apply or discard it. | ## Bring the outputs up to date 1. Edit the brief and run it again. 2. Ask Concierge in the canvas to review the pieces that are behind the brief. 3. Open a piece marked Change to review and read the proposed revision. 4. Apply or discard the change, then read the complete piece before using it. A prepared revision still needs review. The canvas does not turn every existing output into an approved final piece when the brief changes. ## Common questions ### What does Behind the brief mean? The piece may no longer match the brief it was written from. Open it and review what needs to change. ### What does Change to review mean? A revision is waiting for you. Open the piece, read it and choose whether to apply or discard the change. ### Can Concierge change the canvas for me? Yes, when you open it in the canvas and your role permits the action. It can add, change, connect and remove items, and start work. Proposed revisions to an existing piece still need your review. ## Continue reading - [Plan a hotel marketing campaign](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/campaigns/) - [Change a campaign’s direction](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/briefs/) - [Edit, restore and download content](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/editing/) --- # Change a campaign’s direction Update the audience, dates or details of a campaign and check what needs to change in its content. Change the campaign when the plan changes. For example, a weekend offer for couples may become a school-holiday offer for families. Update the campaign details, then review the content you have already made. Where to find it: Open the campaign in Atelier and choose Edit. ## Decide whether the plan or the text needs changing The campaign brief holds shared decisions: audience, occasion, concept and constraints. Edit it when those decisions change. Use the piece’s editor when only a headline or paragraph needs a correction. For example, changing the guest from couples to solo travellers belongs in the brief. Replacing a repeated adjective belongs in the piece. ## Save the new direction 1. Open the draft campaign and choose Edit. 2. Update the audience, dates, event or details that have changed. 3. Choose Save changes. If Lumina lists dependent analysis to rebuild, review the list and choose Regenerate and save. 4. Return to Brief, Positioning and Plan to read the updated campaign material. 5. Open existing content from Library and revise any wording, offer or audience detail that no longer fits. ## Check what did not change Campaign analysis and saved content are updated separately. Editing campaign inputs can regenerate the analysis, but existing Library drafts remain unchanged. Review their audience, language, market, offer terms and call to action yourself. The canvas has a separate brief-alignment workflow, including Behind the brief and Change to review. Those labels belong to canvas outputs, rather than the campaign Plan. ## Common questions ### Should I change the brief or edit the piece? Change the brief when the audience, offer or campaign direction changes. Edit the piece when you only want to improve a headline, paragraph or image. ## Continue reading - [Plan a hotel marketing campaign](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/campaigns/) - [Edit, restore and download content](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/editing/) - [Work with a brief and its connected content](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/canvas/) --- # Put content on your calendar Give each planned piece a date and link it to the draft you have already saved. Use the content calendar to see what you plan to publish and when. An entry can link to a saved piece in Library, so the schedule and the content stay easy to find. Where to find it: Open Atelier and choose Content calendar. ## Plan around the work The calendar gives content a date and a place in the editorial schedule. Open an existing entry to inspect its fields, or create one for the next piece you need. A calendar entry can point to content already saved in Library. You do not need to recreate that content just to put it on the schedule. ## Attach an existing piece 1. Open a date or calendar entry. 2. Use the Library selection control. 3. Choose the saved content you want to attach. 4. Check the entry’s title, date and other available fields before saving. ![Plan content with a title, date, description and optional attachment](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/_lumina/assets/product-docs/calendar-retina-20261012.webp) Plan content with a title, date, description and optional attachment. Recorded in Lumina, October 2026. ## Publish through your email or social platform The calendar records the plan. Adding a newsletter does not schedule delivery through an email provider, and adding a social post does not publish it to a social account. Complete those actions in the relevant publishing tool. Open the linked content to make editorial changes. Keep the calendar entry aligned if the publication date or purpose changes. ## Common questions ### Does adding a date schedule publication? No. The calendar records your plan and links to the content. Send the email or publish the post through the relevant platform. ## Continue reading - [Find your saved content and images](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/library/) - [Plan a hotel marketing campaign](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/campaigns/) --- # Create a content plan Plan a period of marketing work, review the suggestions and return to the saved plan later. A content plan helps you think beyond the next post. Describe the period, the audience and what you want to achieve, then review the proposed work. This feature is available in workspaces where Content plans is enabled. Where to find it: Open Atelier and choose Content plans, if it is enabled. ## Choose the planning task Content plans are available in workspaces with the feature enabled. Start by choosing the plan type and filling in the parameters offered for that task. Give the plan a time frame, audience and clear purpose. A planning document is different from a campaign’s list of content pieces. Use the plan to work through the wider programme; use Atelier campaigns to develop the individual pieces together. ## Read and refine the result 1. Open Content plans and choose a plan type. 2. Complete the brief and review its settings. 3. Generate the plan. 4. Read its sections and inspect the proposed rows or items. 5. Use the available comments, revision or download controls to take the plan forward. ## Return to saved work Open a previous plan from the list or history. Where a plan has versions or associated files, inspect the correct version before using it. Check dates, commitments and factual claims before treating the plan as agreed work. A proposed item has not automatically been produced, scheduled or published. ## Common questions ### Is a content plan the same as a campaign? A plan can cover a wider period of work. A campaign brings together pieces with one shared purpose. Use the plan to decide what to do, then develop the relevant campaign and content. ## Continue reading - [Plan a hotel marketing campaign](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/campaigns/) - [Put content on your calendar](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/calendar/) --- # Choose a campaign idea with Audience Playbook Use guest research to develop a campaign idea and take it into the ad creation workflow. Audience Playbook helps you connect a guest type with a reason to choose your hotel. Read the guest research, compare the suggested ideas and develop the one that fits the hotel. This feature must be enabled for your workspace. Where to find it: Open Atelier and choose Audience Playbook, if it is enabled. ## Start from an audience Audience Playbook is available in enabled workspaces. It uses guest profiles and hotel evidence to help develop a creative direction. Open a new playbook or return to a saved one. Inspect the audience and concept evidence before choosing an angle. The point is to find a reason that fits both the guest and the hotel. ## Develop the creative direction 1. Open the Playbook and review its audience or portfolio view. 2. Inspect the map or concept detail and its supporting hotel evidence. 3. Choose the direction you want to develop. 4. Continue into the available ad workflow. 5. Open the saved ad and review its text and images using the views offered for that format. ## Check the finished ad A concept is a proposal. Confirm that the imagery, message and offer describe what the hotel actually provides. Review the format and placements in the ad tool. Creating and saving an ad in Lumina does not launch a paid campaign or allocate a media budget. ## Common questions ### What should I check before choosing an idea? Read the guest profile and the supporting hotel information. Choose an idea that fits what the guest wants and what your hotel can actually offer. ## Continue reading - [Understand different types of guest](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/audiences/) - [Create an ad for your hotel](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/ads/) --- # Review the pages of your hotel website See how website pages fit together, read their content and inspect what needs attention. Sitemap is a visual map of a hotel website. Open a page to see its content and findings. You can also inspect the template and guest versions available for that page. This feature must be enabled for your workspace. Where to find it: Open Sitemap from Atelier, if it is enabled. ## Read the structure Sitemap shows the pages and page types of the connected hotel website. Use the map controls to move through the hierarchy, change the zoom and inspect related pages. This view is available only when Sitemap is enabled for the workspace. If you do not see it, use Intelligence, then Website for the available page analysis. ![Sitemap: explore the page hierarchy and page types. Available in enabled workspaces.](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/_lumina/assets/product-docs/sitemap-retina-20261012.webp) Sitemap: explore the page hierarchy and page types. Available in enabled workspaces. ## Open a page 1. Select a page in the map. 2. Use Content to read the captured page. 3. Use Audit to inspect the page’s analysis. 4. Where available, choose Improve this page to start a revised draft. Review the draft in the editor. 5. At the foot of Content, inspect Template and guest versions where available. 6. Return to the map to continue with another page of the same type. ## Reuse the page type deliberately A page type lets related pages share a structure. Check both the common template and the content specific to the current page. A restaurant page and a room page need different information even when they share the hotel’s identity. Changes in this workspace still need review and the appropriate export or publishing step. A changed template is not proof that the live website has changed. ## Common questions ### How do I improve a page from the map? Open the page to read its content and audit. Where available, choose Improve this page to start a revised draft, then review it in the editor. ### Why can’t I see Sitemap? The feature must be enabled for your workspace. Ask your workspace administrator about access. You can still use the available website research in Intelligence. ## Continue reading - [Find and improve a website page](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/website/) - [Write an article for your hotel](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/articles/) --- # Use a website page template Start an article with an approved page layout, then fill it with the right hotel information. A template gives an article its structure: which sections it needs and where the content belongs. It is useful when new pages should follow the hotel’s existing website layout. Templates are available in enabled workspaces. Where to find it: Use the template tools in Sitemap or an approved template in Articles. ## A template is a page structure Website templates describe the sections and fields of a page type. Use them when a new article should follow an existing structure, rather than choosing a layout from scratch. Template tools are available only in enabled workspaces. Approved article templates can be selected in the article composer. Newsletter layouts are a separate workflow. ## Create an article from a template Choosing a template changes the structure used for the article. Keep the brief specific to the piece you need; the template does not supply the hotel’s missing facts. 1. Open Articles and select an available approved template. 2. Write the brief and choose the relevant settings. 3. Use See the plan to review the sections before creating the content. 4. Create the piece, then inspect the text, images and required fields. 5. Save the result and use the available export controls. ## Review a template before approval In the template workspace, compare its sections and preview with the selected source pages. Check required fields, repeatable sections and optional content. A room page needs room-specific facts; a restaurant page needs its own details. An example preview can include placeholders. It demonstrates structure and appearance, not factual content ready to publish. Approval and generation permissions are separate; use the controls available to your role. ## Common questions ### Does the template supply the hotel facts? No. It supplies the page structure. Your brief and the hotel information supply what the page says. ### Can I use the same layout for emails? Website page templates and newsletter layouts are separate. Choose the layout inside the tool you are using. ## Continue reading - [Review the pages of your hotel website](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/sitemap/) - [Write an article for your hotel](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/articles/) - [Edit, restore and download content](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/editing/) --- # Write an article for your hotel Create a website article from your hotel information, then edit the text and choose its images. Use Articles for a piece that needs room to explain something: a guide to a weekend, a restaurant story or a useful answer for guests planning a stay. Give Lumina the topic and the reader, then review the plan before it writes the draft. Where to find it: Open Articles under Create in the sidebar. ## Choose an angle before a title Start with the question the article should answer and the hotel knowledge that makes the answer useful. Include the intended guest, language and any required facts or links. You can begin in Articles or carry an opportunity from Search or Website into the work. Review the attached context so the request keeps the right source. ![An article preview with controls to review and replace its images](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/_lumina/assets/product-docs/article-retina-20261012.webp) An article preview with controls to review and replace its images. Recorded in Lumina, October 2026. ## Generate and review 1. Enter the article brief and review the available Settings and Context. 2. Select See the plan and review the Creative brief. If you change the brief or settings, use Update plan. 3. Select Create draft, then inspect the result in its preview. 4. Use Page to read the rendered result. 5. Open Edit to work on the text. Use the adjacent Images controls when the article includes image slots. 6. Review Brief, Links and Search details where the result exposes them. 7. Save, then use Download or CMS export where available. ## Revise without losing the thread Ask for a specific change from the article itself: shorten the opening, correct a room detail or adapt a section for another guest type. Review the complete page after a local edit. Use Versions to inspect an earlier saved state. Restoring content should be followed by a full read, especially if the brief or source facts changed later. ## Prepare for your website Check heading structure, destinations of links, image choices and metadata. CMS export packages the available content; your website’s publishing workflow still determines what appears live. ## Common questions ### Can I start from the hotel’s research? Yes. You can begin in Articles or bring an opportunity from Search or Website into the creation workflow. Check the attached information before creating the draft. ### Can I change just one paragraph? Open the piece and use Edit, or ask for a specific revision from the piece. For example: “Shorten the opening and keep the restaurant name unchanged.” ## Continue reading - [Edit, restore and download content](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/editing/) - [Find useful questions to write about](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/search/) - [Find your saved content and images](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/library/) --- # Write a hotel newsletter Create the subject line, preview text and body of an email, then review them together. Use Newsletters when you have something worth telling guests about. Lumina helps you turn the hotel’s information into an email with a subject line, preview text, body and images. You can edit the draft before taking it to your email platform. Where to find it: Open Newsletters under Create in the sidebar. ## Give the email a reason to arrive Name the reader and the occasion. Include confirmed offer conditions, dates and the destination of the main link. If there is no offer, say what is worth reading or planning a visit around. Check Language and Traveller market separately. For example, you can write in English for guests travelling from Germany. ![Choose the audience for a newsletter before creating the draft](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/_lumina/assets/product-docs/composer-retina-20261012.webp) Choose the audience for a newsletter before creating the draft. Read the subject and preheader in the email preview, then read the body and call to action. 5. Use Edit for text changes and Images for the available image slots. 6. Use Ask to change a specific part and inspect the resulting version. 7. Check the email in your sending platform, including its mobile rendering, sender identity, unsubscribe link and recipient setup. Lumina’s content preview is an editorial workspace. Generating or downloading a newsletter does not send it to guests. ## Common questions ### What is preview text? It is the short line an email inbox can show beside or below the subject. Lumina calls it the preheader. Review it with the subject so the two lines make sense together. ### Can I write in another language? Choose the language in the newsletter settings and check the Traveller market separately. The language controls the writing; the market describes the audience you want to address. ## Continue reading - [Edit, restore and download content](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/editing/) - [Teach Lumina your writing preferences](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/learned/) - [Find your saved content and images](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/library/) --- # Create a social media post Choose a format, write for a particular guest and review the words and images together. Use Social posts to turn a hotel story or campaign idea into a post. Choose the format first: a feed post, a story and a video plan need different amounts of text and different visual material. Where to find it: Open Social posts under Create in the sidebar. ## Choose the format first A feed post, a story and a reel ask the viewer to read and watch differently. Select the available format before generating, and tell Lumina what the post should make the guest notice. Use the hotel’s actual images and confirmed details. A short caption still needs a specific subject. ## Review copy and visual 1. Enter the social brief and choose the available format and audience settings. 2. Check the Context used by the tool. 3. Select See the plan and review the Creative brief. If you change the brief or settings, use Update plan. 4. Select Create draft, then inspect the result in its preview. 5. Review the copy, visual selection and any scene or production instructions separately. 6. Revise the relevant part, then save or export through the available controls. ## Understand the deliverable For a video-oriented format, inspect what the result actually contains: copy, a script, a shot list or visual assets. A reel brief or storyboard is not a rendered video. Download the material you need and finish production or scheduling in the relevant tool. Saving a post in Lumina does not publish it to a social account. ## Common questions ### Does choosing a reel always produce a finished video? Check what the selected format creates. The result may be a script, a shot list or visual material that still needs production. ### Will saving a post publish it? No. Saving keeps it in Lumina. Download the material and publish or schedule it in your social platform. ## Continue reading - [Find your saved content and images](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/library/) - [Edit, restore and download content](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/editing/) --- # Create an ad for your hotel Develop ad text and images, review the result and prepare it for your advertising platform. Use Ads to make creative material for a hotel campaign. Describe who the ad is for, what the hotel is offering and what the reader should do next. You can also use supported images from the ad library as references. Where to find it: Open Ads under Create in the sidebar. ## Define the message and format Give the ad a guest, a reason to act and a destination. Include offer conditions and any wording that must appear. Choose from the formats the tool exposes, such as static or carousel creative. An ad direction can also come from Audience Playbook. Check the chosen concept and the hotel evidence before producing the creative. ## Use ad references Open Ad library to inspect Your ads or Competitors. Filter the available records by platform and activity, then use a supported image as a reference. A record of an ad is evidence of its creative, not of its spend or performance. For supported image ad formats, choose Photo + text or Enhance with AI. Full AI is marked coming soon. Video can be viewed in a reference, but cannot currently be selected as an input to this flow. ## Review the saved ad 1. Enter the ad brief and choose the available format settings. 2. Select See the plan and review the Creative brief. If you change the brief or settings, use Update plan. 3. Select Create draft, then inspect the result in its preview. 4. Open the saved result and review the creative and copy using the views offered for that format. Static Meta and carousel ads offer Creative and Copy; other formats use Page, Edit and Brief. 5. Use the editor to change the relevant text or visual elements. 6. Save the result and export the available assets. ## Check the text and images together Check that every image, headline and call to action remains accurate when used on its own. For a carousel, read the cards in order and verify any claim repeated across them. Include any required wording in the ad brief, even if you have already saved it in Learned. ## Launch in your ad platform Creating an ad does not set targeting, buy media or launch a campaign. Confirm platform requirements, tracking and budget in the system where the ad will run. ## Common questions ### Can I use another ad as a reference? Open Ad library and choose a supported image with Use as reference. Video references can be viewed, but cannot be selected as an input in this workflow. ### Does Lumina launch the paid campaign? Creating the ad does not buy media or set the campaign live. Set targeting, budget and delivery in your advertising platform. ## Continue reading - [Choose a campaign idea with Audience Playbook](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/playbook/) - [Edit, restore and download content](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/editing/) --- # Find your saved content and images Open earlier work, check the version and reuse the content or images you need. Library is where you return to saved work. Find a newsletter you started yesterday, reopen an article for a correction or look for an image. Check that you are in the right hotel’s workspace before editing. Where to find it: Open Library in the sidebar. ## Choose the right part of Library Library separates work you have created from images and material you use as references. Open the section that matches what you need, then search or filter within it. | Item | What it means | | --- | --- | | Produced content | Articles, newsletters, social posts and ads created in Lumina. | | Your images | Hotel photos you or your team have uploaded. | | Official assets | Images available through the hotel’s connected official sources. | | Social content | Social posts kept as reference material. | ![Library with saved hotel content and image controls](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/_lumina/assets/product-docs/library-retina-20261012.webp) The Library keeps the hotel’s saved work together. Recorded in Lumina, October 2026. ## Upload hotel photos Open Your images and use the upload control to add hotel photos. Choose JPEG, PNG or WebP files up to 4 MiB each. If a file is not supported or is too large, correct it and try again. Give the image enough context for your team to recognise it. Use photos you have permission to use, and check that the picture belongs to the property you are working on. ## Open content or an image Content opens in its detail or editor view, where you can review the piece, brief, versions and available export controls. Image details show the asset and its associated information. Image access depends on the sources connected to the hotel and your account. A visible image still needs appropriate rights for the intended use; Lumina does not turn a reference into a licence. ## Organise and reuse 1. Find and open the item. 2. Check its title, version and the hotel it belongs to. 3. Use the available naming, grouping, sharing or assignment controls. 4. Attach saved content to a calendar entry when you need to schedule the work. 5. Download or export the correct version. ## Check sharing scope Use the sharing controls shown on the item. A chain-only item and an item shared with a hotel have different visibility. Review that scope before distributing a link. ## Common questions ### Do I need to generate a piece again to edit it? No. Find the saved piece in Library and open it. You can continue editing the existing work. ### Can I put an existing piece on the calendar? Yes. Create or open a calendar entry and choose the saved piece from Library. ## Continue reading - [Edit, restore and download content](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/editing/) - [Put content on your calendar](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/calendar/) - [Find a page, piece or conversation](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/app-search/) - [Follow work in Inbox](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/inbox/) --- # Edit, restore and download content Change a draft, return to an earlier version or download the piece you want to use. Your first draft is a starting point. Open the piece to change the text, replace an image or ask for a specific revision. Use the saved versions if you want to return to earlier work. Where to find it: Open a saved piece from Library or its campaign. ## The result has several views Page shows the rendered content. Edit exposes the text or fields for that format. Brief explains what the piece was asked to do. Other controls such as Images, Links or Search details appear where the format supports them. Use the view that matches the change. A factual sentence belongs in the text editor; replacing a photograph belongs in its image slot. ![An article preview with controls to review and replace its images](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/_lumina/assets/product-docs/article-retina-20261012.webp) An article preview with controls to review and replace its images. Recorded in Lumina, October 2026. ## Request a precise revision Open Ask from the current piece and name the scope. “Shorten the second paragraph and keep the restaurant names unchanged” gives a clearer boundary than “make it better”. Read the proposal and the resulting content. If the request concerns only one section, check that the rest still says what you intended. ## Work with versions 1. Open Versions from the result toolbar. 2. Inspect the available earlier states. 3. Choose the version you need and use the offered restore control. 4. Read the restored content alongside the current brief. 5. Save or export the state you intend to use. ## Download or share the result Download, CMS export and Share have different purposes and availability. Download gives you a file; CMS export prepares content for your website system; Share copies a link to the item. The person opening it still needs access. None of these controls should be taken to mean that an email was sent or a paid ad went live. Check the destination workflow after the export. ## Common questions ### Can I go back to an earlier draft? Open Versions on a piece that offers version history, choose an earlier saved version and review it before using it. ### What is CMS export? It prepares the supported content for your website system. It does not automatically publish the page. Review the exported fields before completing publication. ## Continue reading - [Find your saved content and images](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/library/) - [Change a campaign’s direction](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/briefs/) - [Continue work that stopped](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/troubleshooting/) --- # Check what Lumina knows about your hotel Read the hotel facts, brand guidance and documents that help Lumina answer and write. Context holds the information Lumina uses about your hotel. Checking it helps you understand why an answer or a draft says what it does. If the restaurant name or a room detail is wrong, correct that information instead of fixing it in every new draft. Where to find it: Open Context in the sidebar. ## Start with the source Context is the hotel knowledge behind the work. Its categories cover the property, offering, guests, competitors and market, strategy and execution. Open a category to inspect the material behind its summary. The overview can also show missing information. A gap is a prompt to supply or research something, not an invitation to let generated copy invent it. ![Hotel context: source categories keep the property knowledge organised](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/_lumina/assets/product-docs/context-retina-20261012.webp) Hotel context: source categories keep the property knowledge organised. Recorded in Lumina, October 2026. ## Brand kit and documents The Brand kit contains the hotel’s identity and writing information, including available colours and voice guidance. Documents holds the source material available in the workspace. Use source editors through Property setup where your role permits. When a document is out of date, update the source rather than repeatedly correcting the same fact in generated pieces. ## Keep facts and preferences distinct A room’s features are hotel facts. “Use sentence case in headings” is a writing preference. A campaign’s target guest is a brief decision. Put each in the appropriate place so a temporary instruction does not become a permanent rule. ## Review before creating 1. Confirm the current property. 2. Read the relevant Context category and Brand kit. 3. Open the source documents that matter to the brief. 4. Correct missing or stale information through the permitted setup controls. 5. Return to the content tool with the confirmed details. ## Common questions ### Where should I correct a wrong hotel fact? Update the hotel information or source document through Property setup if your role allows it. Check already saved content separately; changing a source does not rewrite every existing draft. ### Where should I put a writing preference? Use Learned for a preference that should guide future work. Keep a one-off request, such as mentioning this Friday’s event, in the brief for that piece. ## Continue reading - [Update your hotel information](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/property-setup/) - [Teach Lumina your writing preferences](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/learned/) --- # Teach Lumina your writing preferences Keep a useful correction so it can guide future replies, articles and newsletters. Some corrections should last beyond one draft. If your hotel never calls a room “cosy”, you can keep that preference in Learned. You choose which notes to keep and can edit or remove them later. Where to find it: Open Context and choose Learned. ## Choose what should last Some corrections should apply again: the hotel never calls a room “cosy”, or headings use sentence case. Other corrections belong only to one piece. Keep the lasting preference as a rule; leave one-off instructions in the brief. Lumina can propose a note from a conversation. You decide whether to keep it, edit it or dismiss it. You can also teach a rule directly. ## Review a proposed note 1. Read the proposed rule and check its scope. 2. Edit wording that is too broad or specific to one campaign. 3. Keep it if it should guide future work, or dismiss it. 4. Return to Context, then Learned to review and manage kept rules. ## Know where it applies Lumina uses kept rules when answering in Concierge and writing articles or newsletters. Include important requirements in an ad’s brief and check the result. For example, “Never promise late checkout” is a useful lasting constraint. “Mention the jazz event this Friday” belongs in the relevant brief and needs a confirmed date. ## Correct the rule itself If a kept note leads to the wrong wording, inspect and revise that note. Repeatedly correcting individual outputs leaves the original instruction in place. ## Common questions ### Which work uses the rules I keep? Kept rules inform Concierge replies, articles and newsletters. Check other formats separately; a rule should not be assumed to apply to every type of content. ### Can I change my mind about a rule? Yes. Open Learned to edit or remove it. Use the removed-notes area when you need to recover a note. ### Can Lumina follow our tone of voice? Add your brand and writing guidance to the hotel’s Context. Use Learned to keep specific preferences, such as words to avoid or how to write headings. Kept rules guide Concierge replies, articles and newsletters; check the finished content before using it. ## Continue reading - [Check what Lumina knows about your hotel](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/context/) - [Ask Concierge about your hotel](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/concierge/) - [Write a hotel newsletter](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/newsletters/) --- # Update your hotel information Keep the hotel details and source documents current so future work starts with better information. Use Property setup to maintain the information about the hotel. If a facility changes, an old document is replaced or a room description is wrong, update the source here. You need the relevant permission to make these changes. Where to find it: Open Property setup from the property switcher, if your role allows it. ## Use the right editor Property setup is available to accounts with the relevant access. It groups the hotel’s editable sources and provides access to documents and images. Open the appropriate category rather than changing a fact only in a generated piece. You may be able to read Context without permission to change the underlying sources. Ask a teammate with setup access when the edit controls are not available. ## Update a source 1. Confirm the selected hotel and open Property setup. 2. Choose the source category or open Documents or Images. 3. Edit the information in its existing editor, or use the document upload controls when appropriate. 4. Review the changes and save through that editor. 5. Return to Context to inspect the updated information. ![Property setup: open the editor for the source you need to maintain](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/_lumina/assets/product-docs/setup-retina-20261012.webp) Property setup: open the editor for the source you need to maintain. Recorded in Lumina, October 2026. ## Leave an unfinished edit safely Setup warns when navigation would leave unsaved changes. Stay on the form to continue, save the edit, or reset it if you want to discard the work. Changing a source can affect future generated work. Review previously saved content separately when the change makes a date, amenity or offer inaccurate. ## Common questions ### Why can’t I edit the hotel details? Your account may not have setup permission. Ask the workspace administrator to update the information or grant the appropriate access. ### Will updating a source fix old drafts? Review saved drafts separately. An updated source helps future work, but existing text may still contain the old detail. ## Continue reading - [Check what Lumina knows about your hotel](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/context/) - [Find your way around Lumina](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/workspace/) --- # Explore your brand’s history Read archive material, ask about it and check the sources behind a historical story. Heritage brings a brand’s historical material into one place. You can ask about a person, a place or a subject, then read the supporting source. This is a separate feature available to accounts with access to the archive. Where to find it: Open Heritage in the sidebar, if your account has access. ## A separate archive for brand history Heritage brings historical source material, people, places and subjects into an archive workspace. Access depends on both the workspace feature and your account’s permission. It is not enabled for every hotel. Begin with the relevant archive section or subject. Narrowing the scope helps keep a question attached to the material you want to study. ## Move between the conversation and its sources Ask about the selected archive material, then inspect the source passages beside the conversation. Open Sources when you need to read a document in more detail. Use the archive map to navigate or organise the structure. Save a map change deliberately; the workspace warns before leaving an unsaved edit. ## Check the source before using a story Use Decisions to inspect the archive’s recorded decisions. Read the source and scope before treating a historical statement as settled. A proposed interpretation and a supported record should not be used interchangeably. When using archive material in new content, preserve the relevant date, attribution and uncertainty. Heritage access does not automatically grant publication rights for a source document or image. ## Common questions ### Can I use archive material in a new story? Use the sources to understand the story and check its dates and attribution. Confirm the rights for any document or image before publishing it. ## Continue reading - [Check what Lumina knows about your hotel](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/context/) - [Ask Concierge about your hotel](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/concierge/) --- # Common questions about Lumina Learn what Lumina helps you do, how to review its work and where to find help. Lumina helps hotel teams understand their guests and create marketing from the hotel’s own information. These answers explain the everyday decisions: where to start, what to review and how to use the finished work. Where to find it: Read these answers or follow the links to the relevant guide. ## Common questions ### What does Lumina help a hotel team do? It brings hotel research, campaign planning and content creation into one workspace. You can understand what guests value, choose a message and develop the articles, emails, social posts and ads that communicate it. ### Do I have to be technical to use it? No. You work with questions, briefs, drafts and the hotel information in your workspace. Start with one task and review the result before using it. ### Does Lumina replace our hotel knowledge? The hotel’s information and your judgement remain important. Keep facts current, explain what you want and check the draft. Lumina helps you work with that information. ### Can I read these guides in my own assistant? Use Copy page for the article text. The menu can prepare a copy for Claude, ChatGPT, Lumina or another assistant. You choose where to paste it; copying does not send your hotel data anywhere. ## Continue reading - [Find your way around Lumina](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/workspace/) - [Edit, restore and download content](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/editing/) --- # Get help with Lumina Show what you were trying to do and what happened so the team can investigate the problem. If you get stuck, open Help from the workspace where the problem happened. Tell the team what you wanted to do, what you clicked and what happened instead. A screenshot of the affected area can make the problem easier to understand. Where to find it: Open Help in the workspace. ## Start where the problem happens Open Help from the affected workspace. Use the available feedback or screenshot annotation control to point at the part that needs attention. Say what you were trying to do and what happened instead. Include the selected hotel and the content title when they are relevant. ## A useful report 1. Describe the task in one sentence. 2. List the last few actions before the problem appeared. 3. Copy the visible error or describe the incorrect result. 4. Attach or annotate the relevant part of the screen. 5. Remove unrelated private information before submitting. ## When content is wrong Distinguish a wrong source fact from a writing preference or a failed edit. Correct hotel facts in Property setup, lasting style preferences in Learned, and one-off instructions in the brief. Do not include passwords, access tokens or guest personal data in feedback. ## Common questions ### What makes a useful bug report? Include the task, the last few actions, what you expected and what happened. Add the content title and a screenshot if they help. Leave out passwords and unrelated guest information. ## Continue reading - [Update your hotel information](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/property-setup/) - [Teach Lumina your writing preferences](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/learned/) --- # Find a page, piece or conversation Search the app by title, topic or phrase, then return to the work you need. The app’s search finds pages and tools, saved content and conversations in the hotel workspace you can access. It is separate from the search on this documentation site. Where to find it: Use Search pages and tools in the app header. ## Open the search Select the search field in the app header. With no query, you will see quick actions and recent work when there is work to show. Choose a recent item to return to it. ## Find a saved item Type a useful word from the title or the subject of the work. Results are grouped into Pages and tools, Content and Conversations, so you can tell what each result will open. For example, search for “autumn” to look for a draft or conversation about an autumn campaign. Open the result and check the hotel and title before continuing. ## When a result is missing Wait for the search to finish before changing the query. Try a shorter title or another word from the content. You can also open Library to browse saved pieces or Concierge to browse conversations. When no result matches, search offers Ask Concierge about your question. That starts a question; it does not mean an existing file has been found. ## Common questions ### What does the app search include? Pages and tools, saved content and conversations available in the current workspace. ### Is this the same search as the documentation? No. Documentation search finds public guides. App search finds tools and work inside the hotel workspace you can access. ## Continue reading - [Find your saved content and images](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/library/) - [Ask Concierge about your hotel](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/concierge/) - [Find your way around Lumina](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/workspace/) --- # Follow work in Inbox See what is being created, open a finished draft and check work that stopped. You can leave a creation task and come back to it through Inbox. It brings together work in progress, finished drafts and items that need attention. Where to find it: Open the Inbox control in the app header, then Open inbox. ## Check the latest work Open Inbox in the header for the recent list. Choose Open inbox for the full view, then select an item to see its details. The item’s title and content type tell you what is being made. ## Read the status | Item | What it means | | --- | --- | | In progress | The item is still being made. Its detail shows the current stage and available progress. | | Ready | The draft has finished. Choose Open to review, then check the actual content. | | Interrupted | The work stopped before it finished. Open it to see the explanation and any recovery action. | ## Open the result Choose the item’s title or its Open action to return to the work. A ready notification means a draft is available to review. It does not mean an email has been sent or a page has been published. If a task stopped, use the recovery control shown on the result. Whether a saved brief can be retried depends on what was saved before the interruption. ## Common questions ### Can I leave the creation screen while a draft is being made? Yes. Return through Inbox to check its progress or open the finished draft. ### Does Ready mean the content is published? No. Open the draft and review it. Sending or publishing is a separate step. ## Continue reading - [Continue work that stopped](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/troubleshooting/) - [Edit, restore and download content](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/editing/) - [Find your saved content and images](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/library/) --- # Continue work that stopped Find an interrupted draft, understand the available retry and keep working. If a draft stops before it finishes, open the item and read its message. Lumina shows recovery actions according to the work and information it has saved. Where to find it: Open the item from Inbox or Library. ## Find out what happened Open the interrupted item from Inbox or Library. Check its title and content type, then read the explanation on the result screen. Keep the message when asking for help; it is more useful than “it failed”. ## Use the recovery action | Item | What it means | | --- | --- | | Retry saved brief | The approved brief is available. Use it to try creating the draft again. | | Retry ad | The ad’s concept and creative angle can be used for another attempt. | | Open campaign | Return to the campaign when that is where the work needs to continue. | | No retry available | A reusable brief may not have been saved. Return to the creation tool and start a new draft. | ## Stop a task you no longer need Use Stop when the creation screen offers it. A stopped task is not a finished asset. Open the saved item to see what can be recovered before starting another one. ## If a saved piece will not open Return to Library and open the item again. Check that you are in the correct property and still have access to it. If the problem continues, contact your Lumina contact with the item’s title and the message shown on screen. ## Common questions ### Will Retry saved brief change the instructions? It retries the saved approved brief. To change the instructions, return to the creation workflow and review the plan before creating again. ### Why is there no retry button? Recovery depends on what was saved. Some interrupted tasks do not have a reusable brief or supported retry action. ## Continue reading - [Follow work in Inbox](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/inbox/) - [Get help with Lumina](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/help/) - [Edit, restore and download content](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/editing/) --- # Meet the new Lumina 12 October 2026 · Product update 001 By Marco Di Cesare, Lumina Frontier Over the past few weeks, we’ve been improving Lumina based on your feedback and the work we’ve done together. We’ve redesigned the app to make it easier to move from understanding your guests to planning a campaign and creating its content. Your hotel’s information stays with the work as you move between tools. Below are the main changes, with screenshots from the Budapest workspace and new step-by-step guides to help you find your way around. ## See what matters to different guests A family and a couple can choose the same hotel for different reasons. Open a theme in Intelligence, narrow it to a subtopic and read the reviews behind it. Compare what different guest types value before deciding which story to tell. You can also explore competitors, seasonal demand and search questions. Choose Ask Concierge beside a finding when you want to turn a finding into a question or a campaign idea. ![Intelligence: compare guest types and the themes in their reviews](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/_lumina/assets/product-docs/kempinski-app-audiences-retina-20261012.png) [Explore guest research](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/intelligence/) [Read the reviews guide](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/reviews/) ## Ask Concierge while you work You do not need to copy a chart into a new conversation to ask about it. Open Concierge from the finding and continue with that context. Ask a question such as “What do couples value about our rooms?” Add a file or a document from Context, or use Deep Research for a web report with sources. Concierge also works inside your content and Atelier canvas. Ask for a shorter opening in an article, or ask it to add and connect pieces in the canvas. Review proposed copy changes before applying them. [Work with Concierge](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/concierge/) ## Plan the campaign before making the content An email, an article and a social post can serve the same campaign without repeating the same copy. Start with what you want guests to do. Atelier takes you through Brief, Positioning, Plan and Content. The Plan shows existing pieces and suggests what to make next; choosing one opens its creation tool. For work you want to map visually, the Atelier canvas connects the audience and concept to a brief and its outputs. When the direction changes, a saved piece can be marked Behind the brief. Open it to review what needs updating instead of losing track of which drafts still fit. ![Atelier: move from the brief to the campaign plan and its drafts](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/_lumina/assets/product-docs/kempinski-app-atelier-retina-20261012.png) [Plan a campaign in Atelier](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/campaigns/) [Use the connected canvas](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/canvas/) ## Create and edit each piece Make the pieces where the plan leads. Articles, newsletters, social posts and ads share a brief-to-draft workflow. Choose the audience, language and market, add the facts or reference material, then review the creative brief with See the plan before creating a draft. Newsletters include a subject line and preview text. Meta carousel ads can be planned card by card. Ad references help you choose an image and direction. You can change the plan before asking Lumina to write. ![The newsletter editor, with text fields, image controls and saved versions](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/_lumina/assets/product-docs/kempinski-app-editor-retina-20261012.png) [See the content workflow](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/getting-started/) [Work with ad references](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/ads/) ## Keep the work and improve it Open a saved piece to edit its words, replace a picture or ask for a specific revision. Use Versions to revisit earlier saved work, then download the version you want to use. Supported articles also have CMS export. Library separates Produced content, Your images, Official assets and Social content. Upload hotel photos to Your images, organise saved pieces and add them to the content calendar. [Edit and download content](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/editing/) [Find or upload images](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/library/) ## Keep your hotel knowledge in one place Your team should be able to use what it has already taught Lumina. Context keeps the hotel’s facts, brand guidance and documents together. Learned lets a useful writing correction guide future work. Teach Lumina a rule such as “Use sentence case in headings.” Review suggested notes with Keep, Edit or Dismiss. Kept preferences inform future Concierge replies, articles and newsletters; you can change or remove them later. Agencies and hotel groups can switch between the properties they can access, keeping each hotel’s research and saved work in its own context. ![Context: the hotel’s brand guidance alongside its facts, documents and writing preferences](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/_lumina/assets/product-docs/kempinski-app-context-retina-20261012.png) [Manage hotel knowledge](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/context/) [Teach a writing preference](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/learned/) [Update the hotel’s information](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/property-setup/) ## Know which website pages need work Find the pages that need attention, read the findings and run another website check after a change. You can track another URL or request a revised draft for a page. Download Excel gives you the whole website audit, even when the table is filtered. The workbook includes the summary, pages, fixes and guest fit, with weekly and page history when earlier readings are available. [Review the website audit](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/website/) ## Find your work and pick up where you left off The app’s search finds pages and tools, saved content and conversations. Recent work is there when you open search without typing. Inbox shows work in progress, drafts ready to review and items that stopped. Open an item to return to the work. [Find work with search](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/app-search/) [Use Inbox](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/inbox/) ## A few more things you can use - Put saved pieces on the content calendar and connect each date to the work in Library. [Use the calendar](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/calendar/) - Where enabled, explore a website’s page hierarchy in Sitemap and work from captured pages. [Read the Sitemap guide](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/sitemap/) - Use Content plans to organise upcoming work, where enabled for your workspace. [Explore Content plans](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/content-plans/) - In enabled workspaces, use Audience Playbook to develop an idea from guest research and take it into ad creation. [Explore Audience Playbook](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/playbook/) - If your account has Heritage access, explore brand archive material and read the sources behind a historical story. [Explore Heritage](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/heritage/) - Continue interrupted work with Retry saved brief or Retry ad when that recovery is available. [Recover a stopped draft](https://www.luminafrontier.ai/docs/troubleshooting/) ## The guides are ready too Start with What is Lumina? to follow one job from guest research to a campaign and its content. The task guides then show you the controls, screenshots and checks for each step. Common questions explain where Lumina fits for hotel teams, agencies and groups, and how it differs from assembling a workflow around a general AI chat. Each guide has a Markdown version and a copy menu for your assistant.
