# Create a social media post

Choose a format, write for a particular guest and review the words and images together.

Use Social posts to turn a hotel story or campaign idea into a post. Choose the format first: a feed post, a story and a video plan need different amounts of text and different visual material.

Where to find it: Open Social posts under Create in the sidebar.

## Choose the format first

A feed post, a story and a reel ask the viewer to read and watch differently. Select the available format before generating, and tell Lumina what the post should make the guest notice.

Use the hotel’s actual images and confirmed details. A short caption still needs a specific subject.



## Review copy and visual



1. Enter the social brief and choose the available format and audience settings.
2. Check the Context used by the tool.
3. Select See the plan and review the Creative brief. If you change the brief or settings, use Update plan.
4. Select Create draft, then inspect the result in its preview.
5. Review the copy, visual selection and any scene or production instructions separately.
6. Revise the relevant part, then save or export through the available controls.

## Understand the deliverable

For a video-oriented format, inspect what the result actually contains: copy, a script, a shot list or visual assets. A reel brief or storyboard is not a rendered video.

Download the material you need and finish production or scheduling in the relevant tool. Saving a post in Lumina does not publish it to a social account.



## Common questions

### Does choosing a reel always produce a finished video?

Check what the selected format creates. The result may be a script, a shot list or visual material that still needs production.

### Will saving a post publish it?

No. Saving keeps it in Lumina. Download the material and publish or schedule it in your social platform.
