Hoshinoya Fuji prices: per person, per cabin, night by night

Hoshinoya Fuji prices come per person: a T Cabin costs ¥55,902 each on Wednesday 10 March 2027, so ¥111,804 a night for 2, room only, 10% service and 10% tax in. The hotel sells 2 nights at least, and closes from 12 to 20 January.

I’d go in February or March and book 60 days ahead if the dates are firm: from 14 February the hotel’s lowest rate sits at ¥39,131 each on most nights, paid up front and non-refundable.

Hoshinoya Fuji month by month, November 2026 to April 2027

On Google’s lowest line¹ a typical night for 2 costs ¥311,472 in November and ¥367,612 in December, the dearest month. Then it falls: ¥250,360 in January, ¥224,948 in February, ¥227,016 in March, ¥208,712 in April. Of 172 nights, 72 have no price: ask on +81 50 3134 8096, 10am to 6pm Tokyo time. From one night to the next the figures jump a long way.

The hotel is not among Google’s sellers: there are klook, Skyscanner, Tripening and dealbase, each showing a single night, and none names a cabin or a cancellation term. On Tuesday 8 December² klook and Skyscanner sit at about ¥285,500, dealbase at ¥366,236, Tripening at ¥414,908. On Saturday 2 January klook shows ¥306,992 and Tripening ¥367,831. On Monday 11 January, the hotel’s last night before it closes, klook is at ¥133,832 and Tripening ¥155,970.

The real price sits on the hotel’s site³, per person and cabin by cabin, in yen. On the Standard Rate a T Cabin is ¥73,326 each⁶ on Wednesday 6 January 2027, and an S Cabin⁷, with a wood stove on the terrace, is ¥90,750 each on Wednesday 9 December 2026. Paid up front with no refund or change, a T Cabin on 10 March⁴ is ¥41,926 each on the 2-night rate and ¥39,131 each on the 60-day rate or on Winter Wellness, which adds one breakfast and the forest concert. Most of December is already sold: few nights remain, such as 14 to 17 or 23 December.

That 10 March as a bill, 2 nights for 2. The cabin⁵ is 4 × ¥55,902, so ¥223,608, with ¥18,480 of service and the 10% tax already inside. Breakfast is not there: 2 Breakfast Boxes¹¹ at ¥5,000, plus 10% service and 10% tax, add ¥12,100 a morning, and the 2 mornings take the stay to ¥247,808.

Guests put it 2 ways. In March 2026¹⁵ one complains that everything is extra, breakfast, dinner and outings. In November 2025 another calls it incredibly expensive and worth it.

5 things to settle before paying

Multiply the figure by your party
The hotel’s site shows the rate per person for the first night, and later nights can differ. The total is on the rate’s own page. Set the site to yen, the hotel’s currency.
Ask whether your night sells alone
One-night stays open 30 days before arrival, so a one-night figure on Google for a later date may not be one you can buy from the hotel.
Ask a reseller which cabin you are buying
None of Google’s lines names it. Ask whether it is T, D, F or S.
Open the price details in the cart
Service and consumption tax show there before you pay. If a tax changes, the difference is settled at check-out.
Work out the dates before booking
On the Standard Rate, paid in advance: 10% from 21 to 4 days before, 100% from 3 days before. The 2-night and 60-day rates cannot be changed or refunded.

The T Cabin³ is the standard one: 40 m², 2 beds, 1 or 2 guests, with a terrace to live on. The D Cabins, 39 m² with a king bed, have a closer view of the lake, one with a sofa on the terrace, the other with deck chairs. The F Cabin has 47 m² and 3 beds, the only one for 3. There are just 2 S Cabins, 40 m². With Fuji and the lake in mind, ask what your own cabin looks at.

Which seller was cheapest, and is it the same cabin?

Skyscanner on 8 December, by ¥16, and klook on 11 January. Neither names a cabin, so neither can be tied to a hotel rate.

Is there a resort fee?

No. The cart lists the room, the 10% service inside it and the 10% tax.

What is the cheapest month?

April for the typical night, February if you find one of the lowest nights.
