Kakslauttanen prices: cabin or igloo, half board, the season

Kakslauttanen prices buy a log cabin first: €617 a night for 2 from the resort on Saturday 27 February 2027, buffet breakfast, 3-course dinner and tax in. A Small Glass Igloo that night lists at €963 on Hotels.com, and no night has a price after 30 April.

Kakslauttanen night by night, November 2026 to April 2027

Google’s lowest line1 moves in steps, and the day of the week barely touches it. November sits near €491. It reaches about €566 in early December and €660 from 15 December to 5 January, with 26, 27 and 29 December at €717. Then it holds near €566 to 15 March, with a few nights at about €612 and €721 from 10 to 13 February. From 16 March it is €491, and through most of April €459. After 30 April3, when the winter rate runs out, no night has a price, and summer 2027 has no rate yet.

What the money buys depends on the lodging. On 27 February the same evening2 costs €617 in the Small Chalet in the East Village, as Booking.com and Hotels.com call the Small Cabin, and €787 in the West Village. The Large Chalet costs €668 East and €866 West. A Small Glass Igloo is €963 in either village, and the Large Glass Igloo, West Village only, €1,043. The Kelo-Glass Igloo, a log cabin with a glass room, is €1,220. Dinner is in the price, so a third person counts: Booking.com’s Small Chalet for 3 that night is €876.

Same Saturday, seller by seller. The resort2 lists €617 and Booking.com, Agoda and Priceline match it, Booking.com naming the Small Chalet in the East Village. Hotels.com lists the same figure, and €572 for that Small Chalet and €893 for the igloo also appear under its name, with breakfast named and dinner left for you to ask about. Lower down Vio.com shows €575 and Super.com €595, and neither names a room. On Friday 16 April the resort lists €501. Vio.com’s €459 is for a Standard Room, a name missing from the resort’s own list of lodgings, and Expedia’s €426 names no room at all.

That February night as a bill, Small Cabin for 2. The €617 holds the cabin, both meals and tax. Firewood service3, with staff lighting the fire, adds €37, and luggage handling at €13 a person each way adds €52, which makes €706. Stay on and daily cleaning is €18 a person.

2 guests, in January and March 20269, wrote of about €1,300 a night, one of them for a Kelo cabin. One guest in March 2026 had not known breakfast and dinner were in, and called that a huge bonus. Another, in January 2026, wrote that they charge for every tiny bit. A guest in February 2026 was not told of a deposit at check-in, and one in April 2025 was still waiting for €300 of deposit nearly a month later.

5 things to settle before paying

  • Name the cabin or igloo and the village

Ask any seller below the resort which of them it sells. Booking.com and Hotels.com say Chalet where the resort says Cabin.

  • Check that dinner is in

Seller listings often show breakfast alone. Ask for half board in writing.

  • Ask how much is held at check-in

Keep room on your card, and ask how long the money takes to come back.

  • Order firewood and luggage in advance

The resort asks for it, and without an order you may carry your bags on a wooden sledge and light no fire.

  • Give each child’s age when you book

The price depends on it, and a cot is by request for under-3s.

What the entry cabin is, and what an igloo changes

Inside a Small Cabin: the double bed with a red cover, the stone fireplace in the corner and a desk with a lamp.

The entry lodging is the Small Cabin7 in the East Village: 45 m² of kelo pine, a double bed and a bunk bed, a kitchenette, a fireplace and a private electric sauna, 4 guests at most. The Small Glass Igloo8 is 25 m² for up to 3, with 2 single beds joined by default, a toilet, a washbasin, and an attached shower and sauna. It has no fireplace or kitchenette, and the glass is what you pay for. If a seller’s figure is under €617 in February, ask which of these it buys.
