The boutique on rue de Castiglione carries the hotel’s name, La Pâtisserie du Meurice par Cedric Grolet¹: Grolet joined Le Meurice in 2011 and opened it in 2018 with the architects at Ciguë, in enamelled lava and Hainaut blue stone.

Opéra came in 2019, his first bakery-pastry shop⁸, where viennoiserie met pastry and the flowers began. The Café adds the cookie-pizza and the croissant-doughnut¹⁰; at 33 avenue de l’Opéra Cédric et la Chocolaterie¹⁴ sells chocolate under a brand of its own.

Today he leads over 400 people⁵, from Saint-Tropez to London and Singapore.

At 35 avenue de l’Opéra⁷ the flower-shaped pastries come out at €18 each, all to take away: the tea room upstairs⁹ is getting a new look, with no date yet for its return.

Something savoury at the Café

Until 3pm the Café¹⁰ does its savoury set: focaccia or a ham and Comté sandwich with a drink for €16, with a cookie for €19. A croissant-doughnut is €7, 3 cookie-pizzettas €15.

Fruits at Le Meurice

The boutique opens, and the doors close¹ with the last piece, 6pm at the latest. There are 2 lines¹²: a priority one for Click & Collect, the other for buying at the counter.
