I’d go between 3 January and 29 April 2027, when the lowest figure stays under HK$8,000 on 97 of the 117 nights and Saturdays barely move it. The Asaya Pool is shut from 2 January to 10 March, so for a swim start on the 11th; the first half of November is the stretch to avoid, with 6 nights above HK$13,000.

Rosewood Hong Kong from November to September

The lowest figure for 2¹ starts the year at its highest. November reaches HK$14,644 on Tuesday 3, then falls to HK$8,900 by Sunday 22. Christmas lifts December to HK$12,925 on the 24th and higher still on the 30th, with no price for the 31st. On Sunday 3 January the figure drops to HK$7,449, and it stays low for 4 months: a typical night is HK$7,470 in January, HK$7,540 in February, HK$7,972 in March and HK$7,780 in April. Saturday 1 May jumps to HK$11,295. Summer then settles, at a typical HK$8,925 in June, HK$8,813 in July and HK$8,923 in August.

Sunday 24 January 2027 shows how the sellers line up. The hotel² has the Kowloon Peak View Room at HK$7,972 and at HK$9,379, the same gap as between the 2 rates of 6 March, so ask which of them you can cancel. Expedia’s Kowloon Peak View twin comes to HK$9,267 with taxes and fees, free to cancel until 23 January, a touch under the hotel’s higher rate, and Booking.com stands at HK$9,266. The lowest figure that night is Bookhotel.direct’s HK$6,339, with no room named, so ask which room it buys; the same seller leads 6 March at HK$8,068 against the hotel’s HK$9,029, and names no room there either. On Tuesday 17 November 2026 the spread closes: the hotel, Booking.com and Expedia all sit at HK$14,464, and the hotel’s list opens on a Grand Harbour View Room Twin, with Kowloon Peak rooms missing from it. On Wednesday 30 December Agoda’s HK$13,673 with taxes and fees is for a Run of House Room, which means the hotel picks the room.

The flexible rate of 6 March makes a tidy bill. Worked back from the total, the room rate⁴ is HK$9,400. The 10% service charge adds HK$940, and the 3% tax, worked on the room rate, HK$282, which gives the HK$10,622. The toiletries fee takes the night to HK$10,623. That HK$1 is the one charge you will never feel.

On Google¹⁰, a guest in July 2025 reported about HK$7,000 a night for a double room. Another, in April 2026, wrote HK$4,000 a night for a week on a work programme, a figure well under anything sold for the coming year, so ask about long-stay and company rates. In January 2026 a guest whose package held breakfast was handed the bill anyway and had to show the booking slip.

5 things to settle before paying

Be sure of your dates before the cheaper rate
For stays until 30 December 2026 the Advance Purchase rate has to be booked at least 14 days ahead, the dates cannot change, and cancelling costs the whole stay plus tax. For a later night, ask for the terms of the rate you pick.
Match the view before comparing sellers
Third-party sites rename the rooms, down to a plain «Room, 1 King Bed». Ask whether it faces Kowloon or the harbour, since that decides the price.
Get breakfast written on the confirmation
Ask whether your rate holds it, and carry the confirmation down to the restaurant.
Read the hour on your own rate
Promotions, certain room categories and holiday dates follow their own cancellation terms, so the rule below may not be yours.
Ask what is held at check-in

Children	Free in a room up to age 12, using the beds already there. In suites, free to age 5, then HK$550 plus 13% a night from 6 to 12. Cots are free when available.

The entry room, and what the money buys above it

The entry room is the Kowloon Peak View Room⁶: 53 m², a marble bathroom with a freestanding bath, and windows north over Kowloon to Lion Rock. It comes with a king bed or twin beds. Every room category up to Club Grand Harbour Balcony measures the same 53 m², so above the entry room you are paying for the view and, at Club level, the 40th-floor Manor Club⁸. On 6 March the Harbour View Room without free cancellation costs HK$10,277, for the same floor area with water outside.
