Bar Longhi in Venice opens daily from 11am to 1am at The Gritti Palace and takes outside visitors, though if you are not staying you should ring first. A couple paid over €30 a cocktail in August 2026.

The Longhi room

The name comes from Pietro Longhi⁸, the 18th-century Venetian painter, and his canvases hang on the walls. Around them are Murano glass lamps, hand-sculpted mirrors and a carved polychrome marble counter.

The bar’s business is the classics: 10 Martini variations⁹ on the list, the Martini Trolley⁷, and bar manager Cristiano Luciani’s wild fennel version³.

The room is small: a visitor in October 2025 put it at about 25 seats⁸. There are also cicchetti¹ to share, late into the night.

If you want a table on the water, ask how it works that day: in June 2026 a family with a booking was told the Riva Lounge takes none¹⁰.

Olives and crisps⁸ came with the first round for guests in July 2024 and August 2026. Ask for the cocktail list, with its prices, before ordering.
