Faena Miami Beach: Tierra Santa Healing House
Tierra Santa Healing House brings South American rituals to Faena Miami Beach, using the house’s hand-blended plant muds and oils. The shaman-inspired practices may feel too ritualistic if you want an entirely conventional treatment.

The choice, in short
Why choose Faena Miami Beach
The double-height hammam is built around a heated hexagonal Amazonite stone where the therapists perform their scrubs.
For 2When to look elsewhere
For a spa visit entirely to yourselves, choose a private suite: the main thermal circuit is shared.
The ritualsInside the Thermal Sanctuary
It begins in the staging area, where you hang up your robe and slice slivers of handmade soap into a copper bowl; the waterfall shower opens and closes the round. In the hammam the steam smells of jasmine, and the herbal steam room, scented with eucalyptus, is the hottest room of all.3
Then come the wet scrub room with its hydrotherapy, a sauna with wild orange oil, curved benches of African obeche and walls of Canadian hemlock, the 2-seat marble Ice Parlor, which cools you with ice and air, and the tepidarium, where stone beds are warmed to body temperature and rose bud tea is poured.3
Terraces overlook the Atlantic. Juan Gatti’s floral murals cover the walls, and a chandelier is made of fishing lures.8 Its name comes from Alan Faena’s estate in Punta del Este.2
