January is when Gleneagles hotel prices fall furthest: a Country Double for 2 costs £395 from the hotel on Tuesday 12 January 2027, breakfast and VAT in, a discretionary 5% service charge added at checkout.

Google’s lowest line¹ climbs through the year from a low point in January. A typical night costs £420 in January, £443 in February, £513 in March and £630 in April, then £835 in May and £969 in June, the dearest month. July and August sit at £933, September eases to £770, and this November and December stay near £700. A typical Tuesday costs £649, a typical Friday £817.

Saturdays are the odd thing here: 6 of the 47 have a one-night price, and 29 of 47 Fridays. In all, 81 nights have no price, 9 to 18 July among them. Search those dates as a 2-night stay or ring Resort Sales. From 24 December to 1 January the hotel sells festive stays⁵, Christmas from £8,925 and a 3-night New Year⁷ from £11,460, so a one-night figure means little. The £3,777 on 1 January rests on 3 sellers with no hotel listing, and 2 January repeats it: ignore both.

Now 2 nights seller by seller. On Tuesday 12 January the hotel² sells the Country Double at £395, or £455 on the Flexible rate. Booking.com’s £369 is a room it calls Classic Double or Twin, with breakfast. Agoda and Wego stand at £395 and name no room, and neither does Super.com at £398. On Saturday 6 March the hotel’s Country Double is £695, the lowest figure of that night. Booking.com starts at a Deluxe Twin for £835, Agoda and Wego stand at £895, the price of the hotel’s Large Manor Double that night, and Super.com at £903, so check the hotel as well as Google’s lowest line.

That Tuesday in January as a bill, Country Double for 2 from the hotel. The £395 already holds breakfast and VAT. The 5% service charge³ adds about £20, so about £415 at checkout, or about £478 on the Flexible rate.

A guest in March 2026¹² summed it up as very expensive and well worth a visit. Another, in July 2026, took 2 airport transfers, found 3 on the bill, and the third was still there after paying.

Its Classic and Deluxe names differ from the hotel’s Country and Manor. Ask for size and view.

Smaller Manor Rooms have the views and larger ones go without, so the bigger room is the blind one.
Ask how the 5% is worked out
Ask whether it falls on the rate with VAT or before it. It is discretionary, so raise it at checkout if you wish.

What the entry room is, and what the next ones add

The entry room is the Country Room⁸: about 30 m², inner-facing, limited views, a king bed, and no extra bed or cot. On 12 January the Large Manor Double costs £545 and the Braid Estate Double and Manor View Double £595. The list changes by night: on Tuesday 17 November the hotel opens at the Large Manor Double for £675 with no Country Room, while Booking.com’s Deluxe Twin is £630. For a family, the Large Manor Family Room is £775 that night.
