Suvretta House St Moritz prices: the week that opens the winter costs least, from CHF 850 for 2 with breakfast

In the Grand Restaurant crêpes Suzette are flambéed at the table, yet Suvretta House St Moritz prices by the night stop at breakfast. In early December a Superior Mountain Double is CHF 1,000 for 2: I’d take it cancellable, CHF 150 above the prepaid.

I’d book with the hotel on the rate you can cancel: the prepaid one is 15% less on the same room, but early in the season that money buys the freedom to stay home if the snow is late.

The nights worth marking

It costs least as the season opens and as it closes

The hotel sells winter from 4 December 2026 to 29 March 2027⁴, and summer 2027 has no dates yet. The lowest nights sit at both ends of the season: the typical night is CHF 1,163¹ in December and CHF 1,090 in March, while January climbs to CHF 1,403 and February sits at CHF 1,318. For Christmas, New Year and mid-February a single night has no price on Google.

Every double comes at 2 rates³, both with breakfast and inclusive of taxes and fees. Prepay and Save is paid in full at booking and cannot be changed; the breakfast rate cancels free and includes the Suvretta Spa. On the 9 pairs of prices in the table below the prepaid rate is always 15% less, CHF 150 to CHF 318 a night.

Next to the hotel on Google² up to 18 resellers appear, nearly all with only a price: the room and the cancellation terms are on their own sites. Before you prefer one, ask it for the total and the last day to cancel free, and set it beside the hotel only on the same room.

Dinner comes into the price on the ski weeks⁵, and there the bill changes: with breakfast, dinner, ski lessons, the lift pass and the spa, the double starts at CHF 1,071 a night in early December, just above the CHF 1,000 of breakfast alone on the cancellable rate, and at CHF 1,100 in late March, below that rate’s CHF 1,250. For now the booking page¹³ shows only the Junior Suite Lake for those weeks, so ask for the double by name.

One guest wrote in December 2025 of paying CHF 5,400 for a night¹⁰ and finding 2 single beds where a double was expected. At any price here, ask how the beds are made up.

Quote the offer’s name and ask which double room the from price buys.
Ask for a double or twins by name
The room comes either way, so state it when you book and again in writing.
Write down the day and the hour
The deadline changes from one date to another, in the hour and in the days: the table of the 2 rates shows 3. For your dates read the line under the rate and write it down.
Ask whether the tourist tax is in
The hotel gives its figures inclusive of taxes and fees without naming the St Moritz tourist tax, so ask for the total in writing.

What the entry room is

The Superior Mountain Double⁸ is 35 to 40 m² with large windows on Corviglia and Piz Nair, a double or twin beds, and space for a third guest. For the lake, on 7 December the Superior Lake Double with breakfast costs CHF 1,300 against CHF 1,000, and the Superior Lake Balcony CHF 1,400, for 2 only. If a reseller has only a price on Google, check on its own site which side of the house the room faces.

The highest figures stand alone, a Saturday in February and a Monday in January, with the nights around them far lower. That Saturday the hotel asks CHF 3,100, what its Junior Suite Lake costs in early January, so ask which room such a figure buys.

How much is a night at Suvretta House?

For 2 from the hotel, with breakfast and free cancellation: CHF 1,000 on Monday 7 December 2026, CHF 2,120 on Tuesday 5 January 2027 and CHF 1,250 on Tuesday 23 March 2027, each in the lowest room on sale. On Prepay and Save, with no refund, they are CHF 850, CHF 1,802 and CHF 1,063.

Is half board (Halbpension) included?

No, not on the nightly rates: it comes with the ski weeks, or as a supplement you ask reservations for.

Is breakfast included?

Yes, on both rates, the prepaid one too: a buffet, or continental in your room.

Is the spa included?

Yes, the breakfast rate and the ski weeks include the Suvretta Spa. Treatments are charged apart.

Does the price include the tourist tax (Kurtaxe)?

The hotel’s figures include taxes, fees and VAT, but the St Moritz tourist tax is not named. Ask the hotel for the total in writing with that line.

Which seller was cheapest, and is it the same room?

On Monday 7 December Hotels.com showed CHF 813, CHF 888 with taxes and fees, and with tax in the lowest were Vio.com, goseek.com and Etrip.net at CHF 834: on Google they show only a price, and their own sites name the room. On Tuesday 5 January the lowest figure was the hotel’s, CHF 1,802 for a Superior Lake Balcony that cannot be cancelled.

When is the hotel open in summer?

Summer 2027 has no dates or prices yet; the last one ran from 3 July to 18 October 2026¹⁴. For the next, write to reservations.

Is the prepaid rate worth it?
