Hotel Villa Honegg prices for the villa and the Guest House are almost the same: in March, from the hotel, the cheapest room in the Guest House costs CHF 810 for 2 and the villa starts at CHF 835. I’d sleep in the villa. The price includes the 34-degree outdoor pool, 914 metres up the Bürgenstock with the lake below, even in winter.

You want a single night in summer: in mid-July the hotel sells 2-night stays, and in the Guest House with no refund that is CHF 1,099 a night.

Summer

Winter at a set price, summer 2 nights at a time

From November to April the lowest figure on Google¹ sits around CHF 745 from Sunday to Thursday and often at CHF 831 on Fridays and Saturdays; it drops to CHF 684 just once, on 24 November. Many nights have no price, Christmas and New Year among them, and nearly all of May. In summer single nights with a price are rare until late August, when they return from CHF 1,522.

Summer is sold by the stay. For a single night in mid-July the hotel⁷ gives no price; for 14 to 16 July⁸ it does: CHF 2,197 in the Guest House with no refund, or CHF 2,660 free to cancel until 8 days before. The hotel itself recommends 2 nights or more³ in every season.

In winter the hotel’s rates hold still: on Tuesday 9 March⁵ and a month later⁶ the Guest House double costs CHF 810 with no refund or CHF 990 free to cancel, and in the villa the Classic Room with roof slope CHF 835 or CHF 1,020. Before Christmas there is also the 120th-anniversary package¹¹: a Classic Room Alpine View at CHF 999⁴, CHF 51 under the flexible rate, with a 30-minute massage each and CHF 120 to spend in the restaurant. Ask how late it can be cancelled.

On 24 November Booking.com² sells a Double Room with Mountain View at CHF 767 and Agoda a Mountain View Double Room at CHF 769: neither is a name the hotel uses, so ask which house you will sleep in and whether you can cancel free. The hotel’s own line, CHF 759, is the Guest House with no refund, breakfast and spa written into the rate.

A guest in October 2025¹², at about CHF 1,000 a night, found the pool and spa shut for a Sunday of filming with no warning, and the pool was why they came. Another that month called the view worth every franc, the pool above all. In February 2026 a third objected to the wine list, a Vega Sicilia at more than CHF 300.
