Hotel Xcaret México, a wedding on the beach, in the inlet or in the chapel on the pyramid

A Hotel Xcaret México wedding suits 30 guests or more: vows on Palmeras Beach, in the Fuego inlet or in the Catholic chapel on the Xpiral pyramid, then 3 nights with the parks included. Xcaret publishes no prices; planners selling its packages agree on $16,750 for Paraíso with 30 guests.

Who a Hotel Xcaret México wedding suits

Why choose it

You want everyone on holiday together for a long weekend, the ceremony on the sand or in the chapel above the jungle, and dinner a short walk away, with the parks and the airport transfer in every guest’s room rate.

The packages

When to look elsewhere

You want an adults-only resort, guests free to sleep where they like, or suppliers of your own without fees: Hotel Xcaret Arte next door takes guests from 16, a Xcaret Park package has no room rule, and outside suppliers here pay $870 to $1,500 each.

A wedding that lasts the whole holiday

At Xcaret the wedding is one evening of a stay. The rule that fills the hotel with your guests is also what makes their week.

Xcaret sells the idea in 4 words, «All Fun Inclusive Weddings» (Xcaret Weddings): every guest who sleeps here has the parks, the meals and the airport transfer in the room rate (its services page), and the ride to Xcaret Park too (its FAQ). Read that way, the 3 nights are the holiday around the wedding, with a day at Xel-Há or Xplor before it, as Xcaret’s blog suggests. The hotel adds its own gifts to the couple: breakfast the morning after and a free night on the first anniversary (hotel’s weddings page).

Mind which Xcaret you are booking. The group marries couples in 5 places: La Casa de la Playa, Hotel Xcaret Arte, Hotel Xcaret México, Xcaret Park and Xoximilco (Xcaret Weddings). The hotel’s own page lists its inlets, the chapel on the pyramid and a convention centre, and says the park’s hacienda and cenote chapel can be booked as well (hotel’s weddings page). The group’s weddings page lists everything together, and Google’s AI Overview, asked about this hotel, repeats 3 of them, the cenote chapel of Guadalupe included, which stands in the park. On 30 September the venue pages of Xcaret Weddings showed only «Error loading data»; the copies of June and March in the Internet Archive still list each property’s own.

The answers assistants give to «how much» rest on one source. Asked on 28 September, ChatGPT quoted Encanto from $6,100, Paraíso from $16,750 and $220 per extra guest, all from an article in which a planner, Magic Dream Weddings, promoted its own services 2 days earlier. 2 of its details disagree with the other planners: it applies the 80% rule to Encanto, where Hola Weddings and Yellow Umbrella say every guest must stay, and it charges $1,500 for the Catholic chapel, which Paradise Weddings includes. Google’s overview gives «$16,000 to $21,000» for around 30 guests; $21,150 is what Paraíso costs with 50 (Yellow Umbrella).

The package is one part of the bill. A couple married here in August 2025 with 53 guests spent $35,865, about $676 a head: $17,307 on the hotel’s invoice, which began with a $2,800 offer since withdrawn and grew with fees for an outside DJ, decorator and photographer, $12,558 on flowers and décor, and $6,000 on photographs and video (Yellow Umbrella). In a real wedding published in April 2026, another couple held the vows and drinks on Playón Xpiral and dinner in Cuevas Kayak (Destination I Do).

For this page we read the hotel’s weddings page, the Xcaret Weddings FAQ and its archived venue lists, Xcaret’s own blog, 4 planners’ price pages, 2 venue guides, 2 real-wedding accounts, and what Google and ChatGPT answer when asked. Then we read the 1,283 Google reviews with text among the 2,000 newest, from April 2025 to September 2026. 16 describe a wedding at the hotel (Google reviews).

From the first email to the last dance

A Paraíso wedding as the Xcaret Weddings FAQ, Xcaret’s own blog and the planners who book it describe it: the order of things, and the rules that come with each step.

  • The date, then the rooms

Xcaret’s own blog advises booking at least a year ahead, because May and November fill first, and allowing 6 months for a Catholic wedding’s paperwork. The rooms come before the wedding: a signed room contract and a deposit are needed before the wedding contract is sent, and meanwhile the venues are held for 10 days, says Paradise Weddings.

  • The balance, and no fewer guests

Yellow Umbrella describes a 30% deposit on the package and the extra guests, the first payment by bank wire, and the balance 60 days before the date. Guests can be added, not taken away: if fewer come than contracted, the Xcaret Weddings FAQ gives no refund, and removing paid extra guests costs the full amount.

  • Arriving, and the walk-through

A legal ceremony needs you on site 3 to 4 working days before the date; for a symbolic one Yellow Umbrella suggests 2. You meet the hotel’s wedding coordinator for a last walk round the venues, and a rehearsal can be held the day before, not always in the real spot.

  • The ceremony

A symbolic ceremony led by Xcaret’s officiant is in the package; civil, Catholic and pre-Hispanic ones cost extra (Xcaret Weddings). Palmeras Beach seats 100 for the vows and a toast, never dinner; the chapel at the top of the Xpiral, 148 feet above the jungle, takes Catholic weddings only (Xcaret Weddings). Guests who are not staying come in an hour before.

  • An hour of drinks

Paraíso includes an hour of open bar with 4 canapés a guest (Paradise Weddings) and, for Yellow Umbrella, a passed signature cocktail. Drinks and dinner share one venue: 2 in all, counting the ceremony, and 3 only for large groups.

  • 3 courses and 4 hours of bar

A private venue, 3 plated courses (a buffet from 50 guests, says Yellow Umbrella), 4 hours of open bar, the hotel’s DJ for 4 hours and a wooden dance floor (Paradise Weddings). The coolest room is Cuevas Kayak, the only air-conditioned cave, for about 60.

  • The music stops near the suites

The Xcaret Weddings FAQ sets 4am as the end of the party in the hotels and the park, but 11pm in venues near the suites; Paradise Weddings gives each hotel venue 10pm or 11pm. After that, guests usually move on to Cantina Los Faroles, a club until 4am, says Yellow Umbrella.

The hotel’s venues, Hotel Xcaret Arte and Xcaret Park

Everything on this page is inside the hotel unless it says Arte or Xcaret Park. The park is 4 minutes and 1.9 km away by car, and the transfer there is included for guests staying at the hotel.

What a Hotel Xcaret México wedding package includes

  • Dinner in a private venue: 3 plated courses and 4 hours of open bar
  • 4 hours of the hotel’s DJ, a wooden dance floor, flowers for the couple and up to 4 for the wedding party
  • From the hotel’s own page: a gift on the wedding night, breakfast the morning after and a free fourth night on your first anniversary

Getting ready, and the 80% who sleep here

The rule is Xcaret’s own: at least 80% of your wedding guests must stay at the hotel, and the planners add 3 nights each.

The Bridal Suite in the Muluk Spa: a wedding dress on a stand seen in a mirror, a wooden dressing table, stone columns and a pink wall with lit niches

Below that line, the Xcaret Weddings FAQ charges a penalty for each missing guest, quoted in advance, and it counts 10 suites for 3 nights as a wedding group. The planners give a minimum block of 11 rooms from Sunday to Thursday, 20 on a Friday and 25 on a Saturday (Paradise Weddings, Yellow Umbrella); for 2028 Yellow Umbrella gives 11 on any day. Guests sleeping elsewhere pay $90 each to come in an hour before the ceremony and leave with the last dance (Yellow Umbrella); one of them paid $80 for 4pm to 11pm in May 2025 (Google review). On Google Hotels, read on 28 September 2026, a night for 2 cost 17,046 to 18,940 pesos between October and December, parks and transfers included. To get ready, the Bridal Suite in the Muluk Spa costs $1,500 for 4 hours, which is why many couples take a Junior Suite for their 3 nights instead (Yellow Umbrella).

Hotel Xcaret México wedding prices, source by source

Xcaret prints no prices. The planners do, and they agree on a single figure: $16,750 for Paraíso with 30 guests. Google turns it into a range.

Around that figure everything moves. An extra guest costs $190 at Paradise Weddings and $220 at Yellow Umbrella and Magic Dream Weddings; a legal ceremony adds $1,000, $1,500 or $1,750, depending on who you ask. Google turns the base price into a range, «$16,000 to $21,000», which runs from 30 guests to 50. For 2026 there was also a Sunset offer at $3,950 for 50 guests from Sunday to Thursday, with 25 rooms booked and every guest on site (Yellow Umbrella, Paradise Weddings).

  • What guests say about weddings here

Of the 1,283 Google reviews with text among the 2,000 newest, 16 describe a wedding here. 3 things come out of those accounts: in a resort of 1,800 suites the group’s rooms can be far apart, a rainy evening needs a second venue agreed in advance, and Cuevas Kayak is the only cave with air conditioning. Music in the venues near the suites ends at 11pm.

Questions about a Hotel Xcaret México wedding

The cost, the venues, the room rule, small weddings, ceremonies, suppliers, dates and how to ask.

How much does a wedding at Hotel Xcaret México cost?

Paraíso, the full package with ceremony, drinks and dinner, costs $16,750 for 30 guests in 2026 and 2027 according to Paradise Weddings, Hola Weddings and Yellow Umbrella; each guest after that is $190 or $220, depending on the planner. For 2028 Yellow Umbrella gives $17,923 and $236. The final bill runs well above it: one 53-guest wedding in August 2025 came to $35,865 with flowers, photographs and supplier fees (Yellow Umbrella). Rooms are on top.

Which venues are inside Hotel Xcaret México, and which belong to Xcaret Park or Hotel Xcaret Arte?

Inside the hotel: the Todos los Ángeles chapel on the Xpiral, Palmeras Beach, the Fuego inlet, Playón Viento and Playón Xpiral, Cuevas Kayak, Bar Bio, the Explanada Xpiral and 2 convention centres (Xcaret Weddings, Paradise Weddings). The Ecumenical Chapel and Playón Pirámide are Hotel Xcaret Arte’s. Las Pozas, the Hacienda Henequenera, El Caracol, La Isla and the chapels of Guadalupe and San Francisco de Asís are in Xcaret Park, sold as other packages.

Do all our guests have to stay at the hotel?

At least 80% of them, says the Xcaret Weddings FAQ, with a penalty for each guest below that line; planners add 3 nights each (Paradise Weddings). With Encanto every guest must stay (Hola Weddings), and with the Sunset offer every guest too (Yellow Umbrella). Guests sleeping elsewhere pay a pass: $90 for Yellow Umbrella, $80 from 4pm to 11pm for one guest in May 2025 (Google review).

What is the smallest wedding you can have?

Encanto, for 2 to 15 people including the couple: from $6,100 for a symbolic ceremony, with a gazebo, a soloist, a toast and dinner booked in one of the restaurants (Hola Weddings, Yellow Umbrella). A private reception can be added for $2,800. Paraíso starts at 30 (Xcaret’s blog), and the Xcaret Weddings FAQ gives nothing back for fewer guests, so 20 pay for 30.

Is there a cheaper package?

In 2026 there was the Sunset offer: $3,950 for 50 guests from Sunday to Thursday, or 60 on Friday and Saturday, with 25 or 30 rooms for 3 nights, every guest on site and in-house suppliers only (Paradise Weddings, Yellow Umbrella). The 2 disagree on the months: June to October and December for Yellow Umbrella, January too for Paradise Weddings. Neither says whether it returns in 2027.

Can we bring our own photographer, make-up artist or planner?

Yes, for a fee. Outside suppliers pay $870 to $1,500 each, waived if they sleep 3 nights in your room block (Yellow Umbrella); the Xcaret Weddings FAQ charges a make-up artist a $100 day pass, while Hola Weddings lists $1,500 for hair and make-up. An outside planner costs nothing extra (Xcaret’s blog).

When should we book, and which months are best?

A year ahead, says Xcaret’s blog: May and November fill first, although the team can arrange a wedding in a month. On the beach, turtle nesting can limit numbers from roughly May to October (Mesa Notes).

How do we ask for a quote?

Write to infobodas@xcaret.com, the address in the hotels’ FAQ, or use the form on the Xcaret Weddings site. A coordinator of your own follows the wedding from then on (Xcaret’s blog). Expect the room contract first: without it there is no wedding contract (Paradise Weddings). An inspection visit gets 20% off the public rate (Xcaret Weddings).

Count your guests before you ask for a quote: 80% of them must sleep here
