The lowest seller’s median night¹ is ₹95,272 in November, ₹111,380 in December, ₹102,814 in January and ₹124,288 in February, the dearest month. March eases to ₹83,076. Then the price drops: ₹49,294 in April, ₹37,614 in May, ₹44,526 in June, and ₹46,910 in each of July, August and September.

Christmas climbs from ₹136,584 on Sunday 20 December 2026 to ₹178,664 on Wednesday 30 December. Friday 12 to Sunday 14 February 2027 hold at ₹171,696 to ₹212,000: ask which room the figure buys. Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 February are suite prices. The only room a seller names is a Grand Suite², at ₹353,232 and ₹555,633, and Taj’s own row stands at ₹365,792 and ₹555,872. Traveluro’s ₹447,512 with taxes for the 16th names no room.

Take Sunday 27 June 2027 again. Booking.com and Agoda² stand at ₹44,486, and Expedia’s ₹44,465 names the Luxury Room Garden. The real difference is the day you can walk away: Expedia’s free cancellation ends on 13 May, 6 weeks ahead, and Booking.com and Agoda each set their own date, so read it on the rate. The lowest-seller figures on this page are a floor, with these sellers above them.

That night’s bill: Booking.com’s room rate of ₹37,700, plus 18% GST³ of ₹6,786, makes ₹44,486. Breakfast for 2 adds ₹3,066 with GST, for ₹47,552. In winter a night costs more than twice that: ₹113,632 at Booking.com on Tuesday 17 November 2026.

5 things to settle before paying

Price the night on Taj’s site
Taj’s row appears on few nights. Open its Best Available Rate⁴ for your dates and compare the total with GST, since its terms add taxes on top.
Have the lake written in
A low figure with no room named may be the lily-pond side⁶. Ask for Lake View in the room name before you pay.
Expect a bank-transfer request
On a Booking.com reservation, payment before arrival by bank transfer⁹ is required and the hotel contacts you. Confirm the request on the hotel’s own phone line before sending money.
Know what it costs
Booking.com’s fine print says any cancellation entails the room rate and GST⁹, so ask how that fits the free-cancellation date on your rate. On Taj’s terms a no-show⁴ can cost the room and taxes for the whole stay.
Book the transfer ahead
Call the hotel at least 24 hours before arrival⁷ for the airport pick-up, and ask then for its price and whether the boat is covered.
