The Breakers Palm Beach prices: no resort fee, tax, cheap summer

The Breakers Palm Beach prices have no resort fee in them, because the hotel charges none: a Deluxe Guest Room for 2 costs $1,190 on Tuesday 17 November 2026, $1,339 with the 12.5% tax. A reseller that names no room shows $1,026.

The hotel’s façade at the end of the main drive: the twin towers with their flags, the fountain, flower beds and royal palms on either side.

The Breakers night by night, November 2026 to September 2027

Winter’s low nights come in short runs: Monday 14 to Thursday 17 December 20261 at $1,110 to $1,138, Sunday 3 to Tuesday 5 January at $1,228 to $1,297. Friday 12 to Sunday 14 February has no price. May dips under $1,000 on 4 nights, the first on Saturday 8, and from Monday 12 July the floor sits near $700. The weekday matters too: a typical Monday costs about $1,200, a typical Saturday $1,451.

A spike can simply be a suite. On Saturday 6 February 20272 the hotel’s list opens at a Premium Suite with partial ocean view at $5,490, $6,176 with tax, free to cancel until 3 February; the nights either side stand near $1,450. On Tuesday 8 December it opens at a Junior Suite at $2,290, free to cancel until 5 December.

Now one ordinary night from every seller. On Tuesday 17 November 2026 the hotel’s own listing2 shows the Deluxe Guest Room with resort view at $1,190, with a king or with doubles. Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com and Priceline show $1,190 as well, and Hotels.com and Expedia name a Deluxe Room with 1 king bed and resort view, free to cancel until 14 November; ask the hotel for its own deadline. Super.com shows $1,026, or $1,155 with tax, and Traveluro $1,048, or $1,184 with tax. Neither names a room or a cancellation term.

Monday 13 September 2027 is the summer version. Hotels.com sells an accessible room with 1 queen bed at $790, the Deluxe Room with partial ocean view at $890, or $1,001 with tax, and a Premium Room at $1,490, all with breakfast and all free to cancel until 10 September. Super.com’s $681, or $766 with tax, comes with no room name.

Here is 17 November as a bill, Deluxe Guest Room for 2, bought from the hotel. Room $1,190. Tax at 12.5%3 adds $148.75. Total $1,338.75. Resort fee and valet add nothing.

2 guests in November 20258 put a room at $1,300. In August 2026 one wrote of more than $1,000 a night and a mattress that dipped in the middle. In February 2026 another paid $2,500 a night for a room so small the empty bags had to be stored.

5 things to settle before paying

  • Ask a cheaper seller which room it is selling

The Deluxe comes in 2 views and 2 bed layouts, so get the view and the beds in writing.

  • Write down the last day to cancel

The hotel sets cancellation by time of year and by event, so one night’s deadline tells you nothing about the next. Ask a third-party seller whether its rules or the hotel’s apply.

  • Get breakfast onto the confirmation

If your rate holds it, ask which restaurant serves it and whether it covers both of you.

  • Book in the name of whoever checks in

The name on the credit card and the ID must match the reservation. If someone else is paying, call (877) 724-3188 before you travel.

  • Stretch a summer stay to 6 nights

From 1 June to 30 September 2027 the sixth consecutive night is free and combines with Bed & Breakfast. Group guests are excluded, and restrictions may apply, so ask before you count on it.

What the entry room is

A Deluxe Guest Room with resort view: the king bed with yellow cushions, a blue armchair and the window behind pale curtains.
A Deluxe Guest Room with resort view: the king bed with yellow cushions, a blue armchair and the window behind pale curtains.

The entry room is the Deluxe Guest Room with Resort View5: 300 sq ft, about 28 m², with a king or double beds, and the hotel calls it an option for 2. It takes no rollaway, and cribs are offered from the Premium up3, so a third bed starts there too, at 37 m². On 17 November that Premium costs $1,790, and the Partial Ocean version of the Deluxe $1,290. Where a seller stands below the hotel and names no room, ask which of these the figure buys.

The Breakers prices: your questions

How much is a night at The Breakers?

From Google’s lowest line, for 2 and before tax: $1,114 on Tuesday 15 December 2026, $1,516 on Tuesday 16 March 2027 and $701 on Tuesday 13 July 2027.

Does The Breakers charge a resort fee?

No. «Never a resort fee»4 sits on the hotel’s list of what comes with every stay. If a third-party site adds a line with that name, ask what it is before you pay.

Do the prices include tax?

No. The 12.5% falls on the room rate: 6% county tourist tax and 6.5% sales tax9. The hotel warns that rates and taxes can change without notice.

Is breakfast included?

The list of what comes with every stay has none. Bed & Breakfast4 adds it daily from 1 June to 30 September 2027, at the Beach Club or The Circle. Outside that, ask.

Which seller was cheapest, and is it the same room?

Super.com on 17 November, 8 December and 13 September. It names no room, so nothing ties its figure to the Deluxe.

Is Expedia cheaper than booking with the hotel?

Not on Tuesday 8 December: Expedia2 sells the hotel’s Junior Suite at the same figure, with the same last day to cancel.

What is the cheapest month at The Breakers?

August, with September almost level.

Price your dates with the hotel first, then ask any reseller for the name of the room
