You need Zurich at New Year or in mid-January: the same room climbs to between CHF 1,050 and CHF 1,250, and breakfast stays out.

The dear nights

From late January to August the Superior has 3 prices

From late January to August the hotel³ sells the Double Room Superior at just 3 prices: CHF 711 until March, CHF 765 in April, May, July and August, CHF 855 in June, rising to CHF 945 for 4 nights. Tuesday or Saturday, the figure stays put. November and December move more, mostly between CHF 711 and CHF 945. For September, ask the hotel: its own rates stop in August.

The dear nights are few, and breakfast stays out of them. On New Year’s Eve the Superior costs CHF 1,250⁷, CHF 1,360 with breakfast; in mid-January it climbs to CHF 1,050, and for one night to CHF 1,150⁸. On one Saturday in November the hotel asks CHF 1,485⁹, because the cheapest room left is a Junior Suite Superior.

On 6 March Hotels.com and Booking.com² sell the same Double Room Superior for CHF 836 and CHF 837, tax in: ask how late you can cancel free. The hotel⁵ asks CHF 718 that night, city tax included, with free cancellation. Google’s lowest figures, from CHF 621, come without the room, which the seller’s own site names: set it beside the hotel’s Superior before you pay.

A guest in May 2026¹² put a room at €800 at its minimum and called it totally worth it. Another in July, paying about $2,000 a night, found the views worth it and the service short of the price.

The Double Room Superior⁴ comes with a bath, a rain shower and a view of forest or courtyard. The Double Room Deluxe is the same size, always has a balcony, and adds a partial view of the lake, the city and the Alps: CHF 891 on 9 February on Grand Privilege, CHF 180 above the Superior. If the lake matters, ask whoever sells you the room which of the 2 you are paying for.

Is the spa free for hotel guests?

Yes, for guests aged 12 and over. Visitors pay from CHF 290 a person¹¹ for a Day Spa.

Is breakfast included?

Only on the rates that say so: on 9 February Room Only costs CHF 790, Breakfast Inclusive CHF 900 and Grand Experience, with a CHF 100 credit, CHF 853.

How much tax is added?

Only the city tax, CHF 7 a night for 2. Everything else is already inside the rate.
