Amangiri prices: a night month by month, and the tax Google leaves out

We read Google Hotels’ calendar for Amangiri on 11 October 2026: one night, 2 adults, US dollars, every night to 31 October 2027. It priced 285 nights, the last on 5 September 2027. Each figure is the lowest Google showed for that night, and Google does not say which suite it is for. For the night of 12 October it was the hotel’s own offer on the card, a Desert Suite at $5,445, with the Orchard Suite at $6,435.

Google does not say what is inside the figure either, so on 8 October 2026 we set its calendar beside Aman’s own, which states that its rates «include all applicable taxes and fees». Of the 78 nights priced in both, 75 were 12.9% dearer on Aman’s. The night of 3 December was $3,553 on Google and $4,012 on Aman’s calendar; Thanksgiving, 26 November, was $5,470 and $6,176. For 9 October the hotel’s link on Google’s card showed $6,148.50, with $1,198.50 of that labelled tax, against $5,445 in the calendar. Neither source names a resort fee.

The low season is winter. December 2026 had a price on 30 nights, with a middle night of $3,997 and a low of $3,506 on 10 and 15 December; it climbed to $5,937 on Sunday 27 December, and 31 December had no price in the calendar. January showed only 8 nights, from the 1st to the 8th, the lowest $3,460 on Monday 4 January; the 24 nights from 9 January to 1 February had no price. February ran between $3,460, on the 28th, and $4,301.

March climbs in steps, from $3,655 on Tuesday 16 March to $6,160 on the 25th, then eases to $5,335 and $5,390 on the last 2 nights of the month. Through April and May the calendar read $6,160 from Sunday to Thursday and $6,050 on Fridays and Saturdays, with 2 exceptions. Summer drops to a single figure, $4,620, on 81 nights from 1 June to 31 August; only Friday 18 June, at $5,720, and Tuesday 27 July, at $5,280, stood out. October 2026, the month under way when we read, was the dearest: a middle night of $6,215, $7,700 on Saturday 24 October and $9,295 on Wednesday 21.

3 days separate our 2 readings of Google’s calendar, and some nights had moved. Sunday 18 October went from $4,950 on 8 October to $6,215 on the 11th, and 27 December from $6,171 to $5,937. The nights of 24 October, 18 and 26 November and 3 December had not changed. Monday 12 October had no price on Google on 8 October, when Aman’s own calendar asked $10,496 for it; on the 11th Google showed $5,445.

What the figure buys is the same in every suite. Aman’s accommodation page lists breakfast, lunch and dinner each day for 2 guests per room, without alcohol; refreshments and soft drinks in the room; a group wellness class and guided group hikes every day; the self-guided trails on the property; itinerary planning; and the return transfer from Page Municipal Airport, a 25-minute drive. Phoenix and Las Vegas, the 2 large airports the hotel names, are each about 4 and a half hours away by road. What you order beyond that has its own additions: 18% service and 8.35% tax on the breakfast menu’s prices, 18% service and local taxes on the spa’s.

On Google, guests quote the rate when a stay disappoints. One, in September 2025, wrote of paying more than $4,500 a night and of luggage that went missing for hours. Another, in November 2025, learnt at check-out that a $100 resort credit that came with a card did not cover alcohol. In July 2026 a guest judged the stay «worth the money»; in March 2026 another left the table after waiting an hour and a half for a starter.

Amangiri’s year reads in 4 levels, all before tax: about $3,900 in winter, $4,620 through the summer, $6,160 in spring and more than that in October. Between a middle night in February and one in April there is a gap of about $2,300, for the same 3 meals a day.
