Capella Singapore prices: the room, the rate, the cheap months

Why are Capella Singapore prices so high? The smallest room is 77 m²: on Tuesday 8 December 2026 the hotel’s figure for 2 is S$1,529, 10% service and 9% GST in. That night Booking.com names a Premier Room at S$1,607.

Capella Singapore night by night, November 2026 to September 2027

November to March is the low stretch. November’s typical night is S$1,344¹, January’s and March’s S$1,350, with February at S$1,648. Christmas breaks it: every night from 19 December to 2 January costs S$1,782 or more, and 31 December has no price. April, May and June move up, with May and June typically at S$1,529. Then July jumps to a typical S$2,096, August stays at S$2,006 and September falls back to S$1,780. A Friday or Saturday typically costs S$1,631, any other night S$1,529.

3 stretches are not what they look like. From Sunday 11 to Saturday 17 April 2027 the lowest line reads S$21,582, 7 nights in a row. On the 11th only Trip.com and Vio.com show it², naming no room, with no hotel listing, and a search from the United States finds Priceline at S$1,789 that night. Take the S$21,582 as no price at all and ask the hotel directly. On Tuesday 17 November the lowest line is S$2,684, and the cheapest rooms any seller names are the One Bedroom Garden Villa and the Sentosa Suite, at S$2,712 on Hotels.com. Saturday 24 April shows S$1,205 from Bookhotel.direct, a reseller that names no room, with S$1,462 the next figure up.

Now the room sellers do name. For Tuesday 8 December Hotels.com shows a Premier Room with 2 twin beds on the garden at S$1,798 and a Premier Room with a king bed and sea view at S$1,918, both with free cancellation; a Sentosa Suite or a One Bedroom Garden Villa, same terms, is S$2,398. For Saturday 3 April 2027 the hotel shows S$1,916, with no room named. Expedia names a Premier Garden King at S$2,160 and Booking.com a King Room with Garden View at S$2,335. Trip.com shows S$1,523, also naming no room. Ask each for its last day to cancel before you compare.

Here is 8 December as a bill for 2, from the hotel. Room S$1,275, 10% service³ S$128, 9% GST¹¹ on both S$126: S$1,529. A third adult on existing bedding adds S$100⁷ before the same charges.

Those 2 charges follow you around the hotel. In February 2026¹² a guest wrote of paying S$790 for 2 massages of 90 minutes; the spa menu¹⁰ starts them at S$330 each, service and tax to come. In March 2026 another, in a villa at nearly S$2,000 a night, missed a view.

Ask which room the figure buys
Get the name, garden or sea view, and the beds. The hotel’s own listing names no room.
Price the stay with breakfast
Ask for the same dates on the plain rate with breakfast added and on the Sentosa Staycation, then compare the 2 totals.
Check whether your dates are prepaid
Over the festive dates the plain rate is charged in full at booking and cannot be changed. The hotel’s figure for 8 December shows no free cancellation either, so ask whether it is prepaid and whether breakfast comes with it.
Write down the last hour to cancel
Ask for it in Singapore time, and ask a third-party seller whether its rules or the hotel’s apply.
