Cliveden House spa: indoor and outdoor pools

The facilities include an indoor pool, the outdoor Profumo pool, outdoor hot tubs, sauna and steam room. They sit beside a walled garden planted with roses and lavender. Hotel residents and Club members have complimentary spa access; day visitors can choose one of the bookable experiences.

The Tailor-Made Spa Day runs 9am–5pm. A 60-minute treatment and lunch cost £350 per person Monday–Thursday or £370 Friday–Sunday and Bank Holidays. Choose afternoon tea instead and the price is £400 / £420; choose a 90-minute treatment with lunch and it is £410 / £430. Each version includes up to 8 hours in the facilities, selected refreshments, robe, slippers and towels. Lunch and tea are alternative packages.

A standalone Warm Oil Massage costs £175 / £195 for 60 minutes, or £225 / £245 for 90. The same weekday/weekend split applies. The Dusk Delight is a different, shorter visit: 4.30pm–9pm, with a 60-minute treatment that excludes massage, at £250 / £270. Confirm the day with the spa: weekend prices are listed, but the description also refers to Monday–Thursday.

Swimming times are 6.30am–10pm Monday–Friday and 7am–9pm at weekends. Children may use the indoor pool 9.15am–10.45am and 4pm–5.30pm, and the outdoor pool 9am–6pm. Sauna, steam room, hot tubs and the indoor spa bath are not for children.

For a weekday Tailor-Made visit, changing a 60-minute treatment and lunch to a 90-minute treatment and lunch adds £60 to the listed package price. Keeping the 60-minute treatment but choosing afternoon tea instead of lunch adds £50. The choice is between 30 more treatment minutes and afternoon tea instead of lunch. They do not add a second meal to the package. Once you have chosen, ask for the treatment and meal times together, so that you can plan swimming around them within the 9am–5pm visit rather than discovering that your preferred lunch time interrupts the appointment.

The facility opening hours are longer than the Tailor-Made package window. A pool remaining open into the evening does not, by itself, extend a day visitor’s package beyond 5pm. Residents with complimentary access have a different starting point: they can consider a separately priced massage without first assuming they need a spa-day package. For a shorter visit after work, Dusk Delight has its own 4.30–9pm window, but its included treatment excludes massage. If massage is the reason you are going, clarify that before substituting the evening experience for a full day. Confirm Friday and Bank Holiday pricing too: those dates use the higher Tailor-Made rate.
