Thermal entry for visitors staying elsewhere is limited to Monday–Thursday and availability; book the spa alongside the rest of the day.

Waterfalls, mineral water and a fireplace lounge

The spa has 40,000 sq ft of facilities, with 27 treatment rooms and places to rest between the pools.

The water gives the visit its shape. The hotel lists an indoor mineral pool, an outdoor heated pool and 3 waterfall plunge pools. There are whirlpools, saunas and steam rooms in the men’s and women’s areas, eucalyptus inhalation rooms, spa terraces and a shared resting lounge with a fireplace. Come with time to move between these places and sit down afterwards. The entry is for the adult spa, whose minimum age is 18.

Massage, facial and body-treatment bookings include 3 hours in the spa facilities, to use before or after the treatment. That makes the appointment time only part of the visit. If you reserve a massage in the middle of the afternoon, leave the morning or later afternoon clear for the water and lounges too. Salon services have a different arrangement: a manicure or pedicure can add 3 hours of facility access for C$69 per person, on the FAQ read on 17 October 2026.

For massage, the menu distinguishes pressure and duration. Rocky Mountain Stress Relief offers light-to-medium pressure for 60 or 90 minutes. Peak Performance is firmer, using slow, sustained strokes, and Mountain Hot Stone is described as light pressure. A fragrance-free option uses an unscented oil, and the Mother-to-Be massage uses supporting cushions. Tell the spa which kind of touch you want before choosing the name: the descriptions give a useful starting point for that conversation.

Body treatments bring different sequences. Ultimate Ascent lasts 120 minutes, starting with a hand-and-foot polish and dry brushing before massage, a warm wrap and face-and-scalp work. Wild Rose Ritual is 60 minutes, with a body polish, rinse and massage. The autumn treatment highlighted by the hotel is Rockies Rehydration: dry brushing, hydrating lotion, a warm wrap and massage of the face, scalp and neck, over 60 minutes. Choose the sequence and length that fit around the time you want in the pools.

For a couple, the menu lists a side-by-side massage of 60 or 90 minutes, Rockies Retreat at 60 minutes and Ultimate Ascent at 120 minutes. The booking system lists each participant separately, so take care with the party size and the total when reserving. A price labelled Guest 1 buys that guest’s treatment. Let the spa confirm the paired appointments together before organising the rest of the day around them.

Access without a treatment is the Fairmont Thermal Experience. The offer read on 17 October 2026 prices 3 hours at C$129 for hotel guests and C$159 for non-residents, with the latter offered Monday–Thursday and subject to availability. People with pre-booked treatment reservations receive priority. It also names a summer restriction from 15 June to 15 September, when access is limited to hotel guests or people with a spa-service reservation. Choose the access option around both your date and whether you are staying at the hotel.

Pack swimwear for the shared spaces and leave the phone behind. The spa supplies a robe, sandals, shower products, hairdryer, straighteners and basic body skincare; it asks you to bring your own brush or comb. Electronic devices are prohibited, and the team can help with messages if needed. Complimentary snacks and drinks are available during the visit; a full meal means going to another hotel outlet. These small arrangements make it easier to leave the spa afternoon free of errands.
