At Funky Claude’s Bar, I’d start with Smoke on the Water: gin, ginger, violet and smoked-tea foam for CHF 20, including service and VAT. Every cocktail has a song on the menu.
Who was Funky Claude?
This was Harry’s Bar before becoming Funky Claude’s Bar in summer 2014.3
The walls hold photographs and instruments donated by artists who visited Montreux. You can also listen to the menu’s playlists before arriving.3
The nickname Funky Claude appears in Deep Purple’s Smoke on the Water, recalling the rescue during the Montreux casino fire.3
Thursday and Friday for live music
- Saturday brings a DJ
Live music starts at 7.30pm on Thursdays and Fridays; Saturday DJ sets begin at 10pm.1
