The choice, in short
When to look elsewhere
There are no day passes; treatment guests have up to 30 minutes in the facilities before and after their service.
Other New York spasHot stones, cedarwood and the terrace garden
The spa occupies the hotel’s penthouse level on West 23rd Street.
The spa sits above the hotel, with a private terrace garden and a fireplace lounge. Its wet-area facilities are a cedarwood sauna, aromatic steam rooms and rain showers. The published opening hours are 9am to 8pm.
Respira combines hot stones, Swedish massage strokes, breathwork and scalp work: 60 minutes costs $250 and 90 minutes $360. Rehab uses full-spectrum CBD oil and deeper bodywork at $265 for 60 minutes or $375 for 90. An automatic 20% service charge is added to treatments.
A hotel stay and a treatment reservation give different access. Registered hotel guests can use the amenities without booking a treatment, subject to capacity. Hotel and local guests with an appointment may arrive up to half an hour before it and use the facilities for up to half an hour afterwards. The spa does not sell day passes.
Including the automatic 20% service charge, a 60-minute Respira treatment at $250 becomes $300, while the 90-minute version at $360 becomes $432. Rehab works out at $318 for 60 minutes or $450 for 90 using the same calculation. These are treatment-and-service examples from the published prices. Choose between the hot stones, Swedish strokes and scalp work of Respira and the deeper bodywork with CBD oil of Rehab before choosing the length. If you have a specific pressure preference, describe it when arranging the appointment.
For a 60-minute treatment booked at 2pm, the published amenities window can run from 1.30pm to 3.30pm: up to half an hour before, the treatment itself, and up to half an hour afterwards. Complete the intake form before arriving so that the first part is available for checking in and changing. For an outside visitor, this example allows 2 hours in total, including the treatment. A registered hotel guest can instead ask about complimentary amenities access without a treatment, subject to capacity. If someone is accompanying you on that basis, they must also be registered on the hotel reservation.
