The Hotel de Russie in Rome prices its smallest room, a 33 m² Superior, at €2,230 a night for 2 on Tuesday 17 November 2026, VAT and city tax in, breakfast out. A reseller that names no room shows €1,258 that night.

I would look at 9 to 29 November first: 17 of those nights start at €1,258 or less on Google, and the hotel’s own Superior is €2,230 on Tuesday 17 and Saturday 21 November, against €2,370 on Saturday 3 April. Stay away from the Italian Open’s last weekend in May.

Hotel de Russie night by night, November 2026 to September 2027

Until Christmas, Google’s lowest line¹ jumps from night to night. Monday 9 November is €1,258, Tuesday 10 is €1,954, Wednesday 11 is €1,258 again, and it goes on like that to Monday 21 December at €1,271, with €1,964 the next night. Then it settles. A typical night costs €1,950 in January, €1,934 in February, €2,066 in March and €2,170 in May, the dearest month, and eases to €1,946 in August. The weekday hardly counts: a typical Saturday is €2,058, a typical Monday €2,017.

The Italian Open⁹ ends on Sunday 16 May 2027, and that night is the peak of the year at €2,480, with €2,479 on the Monday. Friday 14 and Saturday 15 May have no price, and neither do 30 November to 2 December, 26 July, or 29 and 30 July: for those, ring the hotel.

Now Tuesday 17 November, seller by seller. The hotel² sells the Superior Room at €2,230 with free cancellation until 15 November, and Hotels.com names the same room with the same deadline at €2,230. €2,069 also appears under its name that night, so ask what the lower figure needs. Booking.com’s €2,230 buys what it calls an Executive Double or Twin Room, cancellable until 14 November, so ask whether that is the hotel’s Superior. Agoda and Priceline also sit at €2,230 and name no room. Below them nobody does: Super.com €1,907, Trip.com and Tripadvisor €1,258. On Saturday 3 April 2027 the hotel’s Superior is €2,370, cancellable until 31 March, with Super.com’s unnamed figure at €2,056.

That Tuesday as a bill, a Superior Room for 2 from the hotel. The room with VAT is €2,210, and the same room with breakfast² €2,300, so breakfast adds €90. City tax⁷ for 2 adds €20, which makes €2,320. Arrive by car and valet parking at €59¹⁰ takes the night to €2,379.

A guest in December 2025¹¹ put the rooms at about €2,000 a night. 2 guests, in May and August 2026, found them a little small. Another, in a garden-view room on level 5 in May 2026, wrote of excessive noise till late at night, which is worth weighing before paying for the view.

Ask each seller whether it sits inside what you pay now or falls due at the hotel.

The entry room is the Superior³: 33 m², 1 king bed that can be twinned, a city view, 2 guests at most. On 17 November the Superior Room Garden View, the same size, costs €2,410, and the 40 m² Deluxe, with a sitting and working area, €2,680. Suites have breakfast in the rate: the 45 m² Junior Suite is €3,000. On Tuesday 15 December the hotel’s list opens at the Garden View for €2,410 with no plain Superior, so check that category is on sale for your night. With a third guest, look at the Two-Bedroom Family Room, 80 m² for 4.
