Jade Mountain prices: a night by month, and the 20% on top

A calendar price is the lowest Google showed for that night. Google does not say which room it is, whether meals are in it or whether taxes are. The hotel’s own 2026 rate sheet lets us do a sum of our own. A Sky suite without meals is $1,575 a night from 1 June to 31 October 2026, and the sheet adds 20% for VAT, service charge and tourism levy: by our arithmetic $1,890, the same figure the calendar gave for 9 of the 20 priced nights of October, the 12th, 16th and 30th among them. The match is ours; Google does not confirm it. Only 15 October was lower, at $1,870, and the other 10 nights stood between $2,589 and $3,133.

From 1 November to 19 December the Sky rate rises to $1,725, or $2,070 with the 20%, and the calendar showed $2,070 for 1 November, for 19 November, for 21 to 24 November and for 18 December; 19 December stood at $2,050. Winter is the dear season. The 2027 sheet puts the Sky suite at $2,205 from 3 January to 15 April, $2,646 with the charge; Google showed $2,631 on 87 nights of that stretch and $2,646 on 5 more. On 20 April 2027 the calendar fell to $2,172, the sheet’s $1,810 plus 20%, and on 1 June 2027 to $1,986, which is $1,655 plus 20%.

The peaks are single nights and short runs far above that base. The highest of the whole calendar was $4,983 for 12 February 2027, with $3,705 the night before and $4,299 the night after. The calendar also gave $4,299 for 7 and 30 January 2027, $4,062 for 15 November and for 11 and 12 December 2026, and $3,705 for 12 to 15 January 2027. Google names no room for any of them. When we read the hotel’s booking engine on 8 October 2026, the only room left for 15 November was a Sun sanctuary at $4,062 with the charge, and for 7 January the cheapest left was a Moon sanctuary at $4,314: on those 2 nights the high figure was, to within $15, the price of the least expensive room still on sale that day. The hotel has 24 sanctuaries with a pool.

Christmas and New Year have rules of their own. From 20 December to 2 January breakfast and dinner are compulsory and the sheet prints no room-only rate. We read the 2027 sheet’s block «Dec 20 – Jan 2» as the one that begins on 20 December 2026: its Sky suite with both meals is $2,485 a night, and $2,982, that rate with the 20%, is what the booking engine printed for 20 and 24 December 2026 on 8 October. Google showed $2,967 for 20 to 23 December and for 2 January 2027, then $4,041 for 24 and 25 December. For 26 December to 1 January the calendar had no price; on 8 October the engine had nothing for one night from 31 December, and sold 7 nights from 27 December at $4,056 a night in a Star sanctuary, with breakfast, dinner and the 20% included.

Other stretches had no price in the calendar either: 3 to 14 November and 2 to 10 December 2026, and most nights after 15 April 2027, with 7 priced nights in May, 5 in June, 4 in July, one each in August and September and none in October 2027. Between our 2 readings, 3 days apart, most nights did not move: 30 October stayed at $1,890, 23 November at $2,070, 11 December at $4,062 and 20 January 2027 at $2,631. 3 moved by $5 or less, 15 October from $1,872 to $1,870 among them, and one jumped: 15 November went from $2,070 to $4,062.

Few guests write about the bill, and those who do disagree. One, reviewing in February 2025, put the price at about $4,000 a night, paid out of pocket, and thought only the sanctuary, its pool and the view justified it. Another, in June 2026 after a full week, found it overpriced for what it offers and would have stayed one or two nights. A third, in October 2025, praised dinner at the Jade Mountain Club and added that its wine-pairing dinners cost $100 or more a person extra.

On the sheet, summer 2026 is $630 a night below winter 2027, and the calendar follows it. The festive rate is the only one that includes breakfast and dinner, because the hotel sells no room-only rate for those 2 weeks.
