Go up before breakfast
The gate opens at 6am. In 2 reviews of May 2026 one guest was alone at 6.30am, and another says getting up at 6am is the way to have the pool alone.
The Marina Bay Sands infinity pool is for registered hotel guests only, who show a room keycard at the gate: no day pass is sold at any price, and a guest cannot bring a visitor. It is 150 metres long, on Level 57, and opens daily from 6am to midnight.
Source checked 12 October 2026: Marina Bay Sands, SkyPark Infinity Pool: entry, hours, depth, poolside dining and its questions

1 or 2 nights in the hotel with the pool as the main event: at sunrise, at dusk and again after dinner.
What is includedWithout a room there is no way in: an Observation Deck ticket and a table at a rooftop restaurant both stop short of the water.
Other poolsWhat the pool is, who is let through the gate and what guests found once inside.
The SkyPark Infinity Pool lies on Level 57, on the platform that sits across the top of the hotel’s 3 towers, which the fact sheet puts 200 metres up. It is 150 metres long and at least 1.2 metres deep, split into an adults-only area, a family section and a children’s pool 0.5 metres deep near Tower 1, plus heated outdoor jacuzzis. By the hotel’s own claim no rooftop infinity pool in the world is larger. The vanishing edge is an illusion the page takes care to explain: «there is a wall at the pool’s edge that acts as a safety barrier».
The gate is the whole story for anyone not staying. «You cannot pay to swim at the pool», the page says, and its entry policy asks for hotel keycards; the answer to «Can I bring guests to the pool?» is that only registered hotel guests get in. The hotel’s FAQ sends everyone else to the SkyPark Observation Deck or to the rooftop restaurants and bars, and draws the line between the 2 levels: the pool, LAVO, Spago and CÉ LA VI are on Level 57, the public deck is on Level 56, and a deck ticket «grants you exclusive access to the Observation Deck only».
Inside, the day has a shape. The pool opens at 6am and closes at midnight, and the hotel names 3pm to 6pm as the hours of «higher guest activity». In 2 reviews of May 2026, one guest went up at 6.30am, was alone and took photographs with no crowd in the background; another says the pool can be had alone by getting up at 6am. A family writing in July 2026 found it a pool for splashing more than for lengths, and noticed how many people come up only to be photographed.
Guests also write about what the brochure leaves out. One, in May 2026, found no umbrellas, cabanas that were hard to get and hot inside, and complimentary sunscreen, which the official page lists among the things available at the pool; another, the same month, counted only a handful of seats in the shade and found no free lounger on the first day. One found the water very cold and another wanted it warmer in the evening. One guest, of a stay in 2025 in a 6th-floor room of Tower 2, describes riding a lift to Level 22 and changing there for the pool; another says many parts of the hotel need a change of lift. Google’s own count of what reviewers say about the pool stood at 700 positive mentions and 62 negative out of 812 on 12 October 2026, on a listing that visitors to the whole complex share.
The room rate buys more of the roof than the swim. Aqua Fit, a workout in and out of the water, runs on Tuesdays at 7.30am and on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 5pm, free for hotel guests and bookable up to 7 days ahead, with at least 24 hours’ notice by the wellness page; Soul Flow, a movement class on the Observation Deck on Saturdays at 7.30am, costs the public S$48 and hotel guests nothing. On Mondays from 4pm to 5pm The Mermaid Tales brings a mermaid performer to the pool for children of 4 to 10, 10 to a session. The page for hotel guests adds a free guided tour of the Observation Deck.
The gate opens at 6am. In 2 reviews of May 2026 one guest was alone at 6.30am, and another says getting up at 6am is the way to have the pool alone.
Poolside breakfast is served from 8.30am to 11am, and a rate that includes breakfast can be used here.
All-day dining runs from 12pm to 11pm. There is no dining area as such: food and drink are brought to loungers, daybeds and cabanas.
From 3pm to 6pm the pool is busier, by the hotel’s account. Seating is first come, first served.
From 8pm to 10pm, except on public holidays and their eves, selected beers cost S$12 and selected cocktails from S$20, before service charge and GST. Drinks are served until 11.45pm.
The pool shuts at midnight and opens again 6 hours later.
The pool is on the roof of the hotel itself: Level 57, across the top of the 3 towers at 10 Bayfront Avenue.

All 20 room and suite types open the same gate: the keycard is the ticket, whatever the category. The first on the hotel’s list is the Sands Premier Room, 45 m² on average for up to 3 guests, with a bathtub for 2 and a view of the city or of Gardens by the Bay. Its page names no tower. A night for 2 started at S$893 on Google Hotels for 2 December 2026, read on 12 October 2026; Google does not say which room that figure buys.
The hotel, its rooms and what guests say4 Singapore hotels with an outdoor pool, each described from its own page.
A traveller who wants a hotel pool in Singapore and is not set on this roof has others to weigh. The Fullerton Bay Hotel keeps its rooftop pool for hotel residents, as its FAQ puts it. The pages of Mandarin Oriental and Raffles give a pool and its hours and mention no day pass.
For a swim without a room, the one offer found is on Sentosa: Capella Singapore sells a Wellness Discovery Day Pass, valid from Sunday to Thursday, that opens its swimming pools from 8am to 7pm.
| Hotel | The pool, from its page | Hours |
|---|---|---|

Each row is what that hotel’s own page said on 12 October 2026; a page that names no day pass has not been read as refusing one.
No. Access is «exclusive to hotel guests» and a keycard is shown at the gate, says the pool’s page; the FAQ gives the same answer and suggests the Observation Deck or the rooftop restaurants.
None is sold. The page’s own words are «You cannot pay to swim at the pool. You must be a hotel guest staying at Marina Bay Sands»; a registered guest cannot sign a visitor in.
Nothing on top of a room. The price is the night itself: the lowest on Google Hotels, read on 12 October 2026 for 2 adults, was S$893 for 2 December 2026.
It opens at 6am and closes at midnight every day. The page gives 3pm to 6pm as the busier hours.
Yes, at any age. The pool has a family section and a children’s pool 0.5 metres deep near Tower 1; the adults-only area is separate, and the main pool is at least 1.2 metres deep.
On arrival, yes: the FAQ says guests whose room is not ready receive temporary keycards for the pool. After the 11am check-out no page says. In April 2026 one guest writes of asking for the pool after checking out, and of the hotel agreeing; in August 2026 another had the check-out extended, and the pool with it. A late check-out, when granted, may cost half a day’s rate until 6pm.
No. The Observation Deck is the public deck on Level 56 of Tower 3, S$35 for an adult in the daytime slot, with last entry at 4pm, and S$39 from 5pm; the pool is on Level 57 and a deck ticket does not open it.
No. The page explains that the «disappearing edge» is a visual effect and that a wall at the pool’s edge acts as a safety barrier.
No: seating is first come, first served and cannot be reserved. In May 2026 one guest describes few shaded seats, another cabanas that were hard to get.
The page calls the jacuzzis heated and says nothing of the main pool’s temperature. In May 2026 one guest found the water very cold and another wanted it warmer in the evening.
