Marina Bay Sands prices: a night month by month, and the 19.9% a quoted rate leaves out

Marina Bay Sands prices on Google Hotels, read on 12 October 2026 for a night for 2 adults, run from S$893 for 2 December 2026 to S$5,326 for 7 August 2027; half of the 321 nights cost S$1,138 or less. On the one night read seller by seller the totals held the 10% service charge and the 9% GST; the hotel’s own calendar does not say whether it includes them.

What a night costs from October 2026 to September 2027

A reading of 321 nights, set beside the hotel’s own calendar.

The figures on this page come from the Google Hotels calendar for a night for 2 adults in the Singapore market, read on 12 October 2026: 321 nights with a price between 13 October 2026 and 7 September 2027. Each is the lowest price Google showed for that night. Google names no room and no breakfast, so the figure serves to compare dates; the rate at the moment of booking may differ. On the one night read seller by seller, 13 October, the links of Booking.com, Agoda and Trip.com carried a total of S$1,318.88, of which S$218.88 was taxes and fees: 19.9% of the S$1,100 that is left, by our arithmetic. Agoda’s link itemises S$110 of it as a fee. Google’s own figure that night, S$1,178, came from a cheaper seller whose link showed no tax line.

The cheap nights come in runs. The first 3 nights of December 2026 stood at S$894, S$893 and S$894, and 6 more between 7 and 14 December at S$953 to S$958; 24 November was S$932. From March to June 2027 the lowest night of each month was the same S$958, and the median night of each stayed between S$1,018 and S$1,078. In all, 47 of the 321 nights cost S$1,000 or less. The medians on this page are our arithmetic on the nights read.

The dear nights are few and far above the rest: 15 of the 321 cost S$2,000 or more. The top of the reading is the weekend of Singapore’s National Day, which the hotel’s Observation Deck page dates to 9 August: S$5,326 on Saturday 7 August 2027, S$5,272 on the 8th and S$5,032 on the 9th, a date the reservation terms list among those sold prepaid and without refund. Saturday 17 October 2026 stood at S$5,042, and no page read gives a cause for it. After those come 2 January 2027 at S$3,012, 23 to 25 August 2027 at S$2,532 each and 29 December 2026 at S$2,345. For 25, 26, 30 and 31 December 2026 and for 1 January 2027 the calendar had no price, which says nothing about whether rooms are left.

The day of the week moves the price less than the season does. The median night was S$1,078 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and S$1,075 on Wednesdays, S$1,138 on Sundays, S$1,198 on Fridays and about S$1,330 on Saturdays. By month, the median ran from S$1,018 in June 2027 to S$1,797 in August 2027; July 2027, at S$1,317, was the only other month above S$1,200.

The hotel prints a calendar of its own on its room pages, in Singapore dollars, for one adult and with no room named (the room page charges extra only from the third adult): on 12 October 2026 it ran to 31 December, from S$730 on 1 to 3 December to S$4,480 on New Year’s Eve. The terms make rates subject to a 10% service charge and to GST, and the calendar does not say whether they are inside its figures. Add them and most nights land close to Google’s: S$730 for 2 December becomes S$875.27, against S$893; S$780 for 24 November becomes S$935.22, against S$932. Of the 76 nights both calendars price, 66 are within 3% of each other on that reckoning. On 17 October they part company: S$2,580 on the hotel’s calendar, S$3,093.42 with charges, against S$5,042 on Google. The sums are our arithmetic.

Guests quote what they paid in other currencies. One, in May 2026, calls the stay too expensive «for 2 nights at $900 usd a night with no breakfast»; another, the same month, had booked a city-view room at US$1,350 and found the hotel ordinary for the money. A guest who stayed at the end of 2025 writes in Japanese, in June 2026, that outside the high season some rooms could be had from around 100,000 yen. A guest writing in German in May 2026 advises booking a rate with free cancellation and looking again later, because prices change through the year and from one seller to the next.

5 things to settle before paying

  • Move the stay to Monday–Thursday

From Monday to Thursday the median night in the calendar was S$1,075 to S$1,078; on Saturdays it was about S$1,330. If the dates are free, start from 1 to 3 December 2026 or from March to June 2027.

  • Add 19.9% to a rate quoted before them

S$1,000 becomes S$1,199: first a 10% service charge, then 9% GST on the rate and the service charge together, as the sellers’ totals of 13 October show.

  • Count it separately in a room

Room rates leave breakfast out unless the package says otherwise; suites include it for the adults on the booking. At RISE it is S$88 an adult and S$44 a child, before charges.

  • Expect a hold of S$200 a night

The hotel takes S$200 for each night at check-in, in cash or on a card, and releases what is unused at check-out. Online it accepts credit cards only.

  • Read the rate’s cancellation rule

Book Direct Exclusive can be cancelled free up to 3 days before arrival, the Flexible Rate up to 2. Stays on 31 December 2026, 1 January 2027 and 9 August 2027 are paid in full and not refunded.

Sands Premier Room: the bed facing the window, the Supertrees of Gardens by the Bay beyond.

Google’s calendar names no room. The first category on the official site is the Sands Premier Room: 45 m² on average, for up to 3 guests, with a bathtub for 2 and no breakfast in the rate. The hotel’s own calendar gives no rate by room type either: it is the same on the 17 room pages where it was captured. The Paiza Collection is a separate set of rooms and suites, with butlers, a private arrival and breakfast in its own club; no price for it was read.

3 stretches of the same reading: the lowest, the median and the highest night of each.

December 2026 holds both the lowest night of the whole reading and 3 nights above S$2,000 after Christmas; from March to June 2027 nothing passes S$1,439; August 2027 starts at S$1,198 on its cheapest night.

A traveller tied to August can still read the month night by night: the lowest, S$1,198, falls on the 31st, and each of the 3 nights round National Day costs more than 4 times as much.

Marina Bay Sands prices: your questions

Do Marina Bay Sands prices include tax and service charge?

It depends where the price is read. The terms make rates subject to a 10% service charge and to GST, and the hotel’s own calendar does not say they are inside its figures. On Google, the totals in the sellers’ links for 13 October 2026 held both. Tripadvisor says its partners’ prices include mandatory fees and leave taxes out.

Which month is cheapest at Marina Bay Sands?

In the reading of 12 October 2026 the lowest median night was June 2027, S$1,018, ahead of December 2026 at S$1,072 on the 27 nights with a price. The lowest single night was 2 December 2026, S$893.

Is breakfast included in the price?

In a room, no, unless the package says so; it comes with suites and the Paiza Club Room. At RISE the breakfast buffet costs S$88 an adult and S$44 a child, before service charge and GST.

How much is the deposit?

S$200 for each night of the stay, taken at check-in in cash or on a card. With a credit card it is a pre-authorisation, released at check-out for whatever was not spent.

Is there a resort fee or a tourist tax?

Neither appears on the pages read. What is added to a rate is the 10% service charge and the 9% GST.

Why do some nights cost more than S$5,000?

3 of the 4 are 7, 8 and 9 August 2027, the weekend of National Day; the 9th is among the dates the hotel sells prepaid. The fourth is Saturday 17 October 2026, for which no page read states a cause; that night the hotel’s own calendar showed S$2,580, without saying whether the charges are inside.

Is the infinity pool included in the price?

Yes. Every registered guest may use it from 6am to midnight, and nobody else may: no day pass is sold.

Is it cheaper to book direct?

On the one night compared, the answer changed with the seller. For 13 October 2026 the hotel’s calendar showed S$1,080 for one adult, without saying whether the charges are inside: S$1,294.92 by our arithmetic if they come on top. On Google the cheapest seller was at S$1,178 and Booking.com, Agoda and Trip.com at S$1,318.88 in their links. Bookings through online travel agencies earn no Reward Dollars in the hotel’s loyalty programme, say the terms.
