Why Maadhoo suits an all-inclusive stay

A small island close to Malé, with 5 restaurants and 2 bars on the plan.

Maadhoo is 45 minutes by speedboat from Velana, so there is no seaplane to wait for and the transfer is already paid. The island holds 95 villas, 5 restaurants, 2 bars and the HUDHU BAY beach club: enough to eat somewhere different every night, Friday’s gala aside.

The rare piece is M6m, 6 metres under the reef: 24 covers behind glass, a fish, meat or vegetable menu with the sommelier’s wines, and with 4 nights the meal is on the plan. Beside it sits LONU, which turns Maldivian recipes into small plates, and its lunch joins the plan with the same 4 nights.

Count them first
From 4 nights every adult gets a 60-minute spa or dive voucher; the vouchers become 2 from 6 nights, 3 from 9 nights, 4 from 13 nights and 5 from 17 nights.
Reserve M6m and LONU
Both are booked ahead and closed on Fridays; 14 nights bring a second meal at each.
Dinner at THE PALMS’ gala
That evening TRADITION INDOCEYLON, TRADITION PEKING and M6m close, and dinner is THE PALMS’ Grand Indian Ocean Gala Dinner.
Take the 2 daily boats
Snorkelling trips leave at 9am and 3pm for nearby reefs, weather permitting; masks and fins are included.
The plan ends at 11am
On the day you leave the benefits run until 11am; staying on means paying for an extension.

INDULGENCE: what it covers and what it leaves out

What the plan covers

Meals: champagne breakfast, lunch and dinner at THE PALMS; dinner at TRADITION INDOCEYLON, Indian and Sri Lankan, and TRADITION PEKING, Chinese; one meal at M6m, the underwater restaurant, and one Maldivian lunch at LONU with 4 nights or more, 2 of each with 14. M6m’s dinner and LONU are for guests aged 12 and over; younger children come to «Lunch with Family», on Saturdays at LONU.
Drinks: selected champagnes, whiskies aged 12 to 15 years, branded spirits, cocktails, beers and more than 80 wines, from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Valpolicella and Chianti to Marlborough and German Riesling, poured at THE PALMS, JOIE de VIVRE, both TRADITION restaurants and M6m. Gin is In opens from 5pm to 11pm with more than 18 gins. The villa minibar is restocked once a day with champagne, wine, beer, soft drinks and snacks.
Days: the return speedboat, with the wait in THE OZEN COLLECTION lounge at Velana, 2 snorkelling trips a day, windsurfing, catamaran, canoe and paddleboard, one sunset cruise and one sunset fishing trip each, the OZENERGY gym, tennis and the kids’ club from 9am to 6pm.
Vouchers: from 4 nights every guest aged 12 or over receives 1 to 5, for the spa or for dives, delivered to the villa on arrival; they are not refundable and expire with the stay. The dive centre’s price list values each voucher at $90 plus service and tax, usable for its other activities too.

THE PALMS	Breakfast 7am to 11am, lunch 12.30pm to 3pm, dinner 7pm to 10.30pm; the gala for everyone on Friday evenings.
TRADITION INDOCEYLON	India and Sri Lanka, dinner only from 7pm to 10.30pm, booked ahead; closed on Fridays.
TRADITION PEKING	Chinese cooking, dinner from 7pm to 10.30pm, booked ahead; closed on Fridays.
M6m	6 metres below the sea: lunch open to families, dinner from age 12; one per stay of 4 nights or more.
LONU	Maldivian recipes as small plates, lunch from 12.30pm to 3pm for adults; the fact sheet says until 6pm.
HUDHU BAY	Beach club from 10am to 6pm with finger food, ice cream and the plan’s drinks; the crab dinner is charged.
JOIE de VIVRE	The pool bar, 9am to 1am, its kitchen open from 11am to 9pm.
Gin is In	An adults-only sundowner bar, 5pm to 11pm, with more than 18 gins.

Beach or water, on the same plan

The plan comes with every rate. On the beach are the Earth Villa, the Earth Villa with Pool and the 2-bedroom Pavilions; over the water the Wind Villa, the Wind Villa with Pool, the Wind Villa with Jacuzzi & Slide and, at the end of the jetty, THE OZEN RESIDENCE.

The Google Hotels calendar gives a figure for 2 adults without naming the villa: the $1,181 for 7 October 2026 is where prices start. The resort brochure of September 2026 gives the Earth Villa 58 m² on a 268 m² plot and the Wind Villa with Pool 65 m² on 122 m².

Questions before you book

Can you stay at OZEN LIFE MAADHOO without the all-inclusive plan?

Not through its website: the offers read on 6 October 2026 build the INDULGENCE plan into every rate, and the resort sells no bed-and-breakfast or half-board option. The plan brochure presents it as the resort’s whole experience.

How many nights do you need?

The minimum is 4 nights on every rate; a shorter booking is reviewed and confirmed by the resort, as the Stay More | Pay Less offer says. 4 nights also bring the M6m meal, the LONU lunch and the first spa or dive voucher.

How much is a night on the plan?

On Google Hotels, read on 6 October 2026, a night for 2 adults cost $1,181 on 7 October, $1,408 on 1 November, $1,359 on 12 December, $2,365 on Christmas Eve and $1,906 on 7 January 2027, taxes and fees included, without naming the villa. For 7 October the official website asked $1,200, including $286.28 of tax and $24 of other charges. Tripadvisor showed from $1,360 «taxes not included» for 11 October, the night Google showed $1,199 with taxes.

From what age can you use the spa vouchers?

The resort’s own sources disagree: the plan brochure allows the spa from 16 with parental consent, the plan page from 15 and the spa menu from 18. For vouchers an adult is anyone aged 12 or over, and from 12 a voucher can pay for a dive, with certification and the dive centre’s approval, or for another of the centre’s activities.

Are private dinners included?

The Destination Dining brochure offers a private beach barbecue, a beach proposal, a cinema on the sand, a floating breakfast in the villa pool and Peking duck with a bottle of champagne: each comes with INDULGENCE drinks, but the brochure prints no prices and sends you to the butler to book.

Are any dates excluded?

The excluded dates belong to Kids Stay Free, under which up to 2 children aged 11 or under stay free: the offer does not run from 21 December 2026 to 7 January 2027. Google Hotels had a price for all 117 nights from 7 October 2026 to 31 January 2027; those dates do not establish an annual operating calendar.
