The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas prices: a night with the fee inside

Q: Is the resort fee included?

In the hotel’s own prices4, yes: daily fee in, taxes out. Marriott Bonvoy shows the hotel’s figure on 21 November, 16 December and 6 March, and Super.com’s $1152 holds the fee too: $60 of room plus the $55. On any other lower figure, ask.

Cosmopolitan Las Vegas prices reach their low on Wednesday 16 December 2026, when the hotel lists a City Room at $191 for 2, $55 resort fee in, 13.38% tax out. A reseller that names no room shows $115 that night, $131 with tax.

The Cosmopolitan night by night, November 2026 to September 2027

July has the lowest median night, $119¹, and March follows at $142. February sits at $242 and May around $270. The week decides more than the month: a Saturday has a median of $364 and a Friday $314, a Monday $142. Long runs sit just under $120, among them 14 to 17 and 21 to 24 December, 14 to 17 March and most of the Sundays to Thursdays of July.

The Grand Prix⁸ runs from Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 November 2026: $894 on the Thursday, $989 on the Friday, then $148 on the Sunday after. CES¹⁰, 6 to 9 January 2027, costs $702 on the Wednesday and $625 on the Thursday. The Saturdays of EDC’s 2 May weekends¹¹, 15 and 22 May, cost $467 and $475.

Same night, every seller: Saturday 6 March 2027. Super.com shows $336² and Hotels In America $356, or $403 with tax; Tripadvisor and goseek show $368. None of them names a room. The hotel, Marriott Bonvoy, Booking.com, Expedia and Hotels.com all show $511, or $579 with tax. The hotel and Marriott Bonvoy name it: a City Room with a king or 2 queens, and neither shows free cancellation at $511. Pay $535, or $607 with tax, and the hotel’s City Room can be cancelled free until 2 March. Close to the race the hotel’s lowest listing is already a suite: on Tuesday 17 November, a Terrace One Bedroom Suite at $603, cancellable until 13 November, and Marriott Bonvoy has a Terrace Suite at $565 without free cancellation.

Wednesday 16 December as a bill, City Room King for 2, bought from the hotel. Room $136 plus resort fee $55³ is the $191, because the hotel prices with the fee in⁴. Room tax at 13.38%⁹ on both adds about $26. Total $217. Free cancellation until 12 December takes it to $206 before tax and $234 after; a third guest takes the plain rate to $241 and $273.

In July 2026¹² 3 guests wrote of minibar charges, $20, $71 and more than $350, for things they say they did not use; 2 of them had the charge taken off. In September one found a $250 late check-out fee on the bill after leaving on time, and had it removed. Another, held back a day by a flight, phoned the hotel and was still charged $1,200 for the missed night.

5 things to settle before paying

Have the seller name the room
Ask for the category, the beds and whether there is a terrace. The Cosmopolitan assigns rooms at check-in, so a request stays a request.
Ask if the resort fee is still to pay
If you book on a third-party site, ask whether the total includes it or the desk will collect it on arrival.
Check in with a credit card
With a debit card the hold shows as a real charge, and the refund takes 7 to 10 business days, up to 30 for international travellers.
Get a delay confirmed in writing
If your flight slips, phone and ask for an e-mail saying your first night stands. A no-show loses the first night’s deposit.
Read the bill before you leave
Ask for it before you go, and query any line for the minibar or for a late check-out on the spot.

The conditions, line by line

Deposit at booking	The first night, refundable until 72 hours before arrival unless your offer excludes it.
Hold at check-in	An authorisation for room, taxes and resort fee, plus $150 a day for charging to the room. $1,000 a night for a Bungalow or Chelsea Penthouse.

Leaving early	Moving your check-out date before or at check-in costs nothing. After that, you pay the rate and tax of the night you leave, and all remaining nights if your offer says so.

Smoking on the terrace	Allowed, with the ashtray and the room door closed. Marijuana is banned everywhere, terraces included.

What the entry room is

The entry rooms are the City Room King⁷, 43 m² with 1 king bed for up to 3, and the City Room Queen, the same size with 2 queen beds for up to 4. One step up, the City Studio is 59 m² and cost $530 on 6 March². If a seller’s figure comes with no room, ask which one it buys.

The Cosmopolitan is the cheapest of the 6 on 21 of those nights, and next door Bellagio charges the same $55¹³.

How much is a night at The Cosmopolitan?

Is the resort fee included?

Is tax included?

No. It falls on the room, the fee and any extra guest, so the $55 fee comes to about $62.

The resort fee has no breakfast in it. Ask when you book whether your rate does, or take an offer that says so.

Which seller was cheapest, and is it the same room?

Super.com on 17 November, 21 November, 16 December and 6 March, with no room named. Treat it as a different product until the seller tells you the category.

Can I avoid the resort fee?

MGM Rewards members at Gold or above have it taken off at check-out³ on eligible reservations.

What does New Year’s Eve cost?

For 31 December 2026 only 2 sites list a room, Best Hotel Deals at $1,711 and Skyscanner at $1,822, and the hotel is not among them. Call Room Reservations on 877.551.7772 first.
