Sahra needs its own booking
A vitality pool, sauna, steam room and hammam for a few hours away from the Strip. On 1 October 2026 guest passes cost $100–150; a treatment of at least $120 included spa use that day.
A private terrace above the Strip, with the right category. Dining, Sahra Spa and nightlife; views do not guarantee quiet.
A week here, month by monthThe Cosmopolitan suits couples and friends who want a private terrace on the central Strip, with restaurants and bars downstairs: the lowest price any seller showed on Google for one night was $115 for 2 adults, in December 2026, January and March 2027. The casino, the nightlife and the social pools share the building, so weigh that up if you want a quiet stay.
The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas restaurants: all 28, é’s 9 seats, Secret Pizza and the buffet that closes at 1.30pm Official rooms The Cosmopolitan poolDoes it suit you?
5 pairs of hotels, and the guide tells you whether this one suits you.
I would ask for a Terrace Suite with Fountain View: an oversized private terrace facing the fountain show and a bubbler tub in the main bath. 4 guests on repeat stays choose a suite with a terrace or balcony.
In the calendar read on 13 October 2026 the lowest run is 10–14 January 2027: $115 to $117 a night for 2 adults. The dearest nights shown, 31 December 2026 and 6 January 2027, were $1,630 and $1,600.
A dog adds $100 plus tax per dog a night, with up to 2 dogs of any size or breed per room. Dogs are not allowed in restaurants, on the casino floor, at the pools or in the fitness centre, unless service animals.
Look for Secret Pizza: 6 guests who wrote between May and September 2026 name it, and 2 call it nameless or unmarked, one placing it at the end of a corridor on the third floor.
I would choose The Cosmopolitan to end the evening on a private terrace after dinner in the middle of the Strip. Book Fountain View to face the fountains, and start with the Terrace categories if an outdoor space is the reason you are coming. City Room and City Studio offer a different stay.
The location works for a couple going out to bars and restaurants, or friends who want a lively Las Vegas stay. Rooms range from City Room to Wraparound, with its large living area and terrace. For more than 2 guests, check the category’s occupancy limit and the extra-person charge.
Lanai faces Chelsea Pool; Bungalow overlooks Marquee, with an explicit warning about the music. Penthouses and villas come with dedicated services and deposits. The bookable 2-bedroom units measure 1,992 sq ft in the Chelsea Penthouse and 2,100 in a Boulevard Villa, according to the hotel’s room index and suite pages, read on 15 October 2026; other configurations are arranged through Luxury Reservations.
Between outings, there is Sahra Spa, Chelsea Pool and the more social Boulevard Pool. Pay for the spa through a treatment or pass. Add meals and drinks to the $55 plus tax nightly resort fee: the terrace may make the stay, but the room price is only part of the bill.
Lumina Guide 2027
The Cosmopolitan is on the central Strip: you go out among restaurants and bars and come back to a private terrace, which in the Fountain View rooms faces the fountains.
Distinctions
Among the hotel’s regulars, a guest who wrote in July 2026 advises upgrading to a balcony or, above all, a wraparound suite if you can afford it. Another, writing the same month on a second year in a row, calls China Poblano, Scarpetta, Secret Pizza and the Wicked Spoon buffet all great and memorable, and the mini fridge a huge perk. A third, writing in May 2026, has stayed each year for 3 or 4 years and names the restaurants and the speakeasy bars.

What we found reading the hotel’s own pages, one thing at a time.
Central location and terraces are recurring strengths, with views when the booked category specifies them.
Terraces and social spaces give it a strong identity; a lively, shared atmosphere.
Balconies, space and beds earn praise; Terrace Studios, about 67.8 m², have a private terrace, which City Rooms are not promised.
Staff earn praise in many accounts, from the front desk to housekeeping and the restaurant staff.
Restaurants are a strength for some; verdicts on meals, waits and prices remain varied.
Guests who find the price fair name the private terrace, with the fountain view when the room has one; a resort fee of $55 plus tax a night goes on top of the rate.
What do The Cosmopolitan’s guests say? They write it in their reviews, even those who only came for a drink or dinner: we read every one and tell the 5 things that matter, from the location to the bill.
9 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. Guests write about the location on the central Strip, the terraces and the view of the Bellagio fountains, when the category includes it.
6 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. Guests write about the balconies, the space and the beds; those in a Fountain View room describe the Bellagio fountains seen from the terrace.
6 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. Staff earn praise in many reviews: guests name the front desk, the housekeepers and the restaurant staff.
For breakfast guests name The Henry, the Wicked Spoon buffet and Eggslut.
A resort fee of $55 plus tax a night goes on top of the rate; the private terrace and the fountain view depend on the category booked.
On location it comes ahead of the 4 other hotels it is compared with in Las Vegas.

The scores come from 500 Google reviews with text, left from 19 May 2026 to 30 September 2026. 500 recent resort listing texts, covering stays and visits to restaurants, bars and casino without isolating room category or tower. The other hotels are the ones weighed for a stay in Las Vegas: for each we read its latest 500 Google reviews with text, or all of them where there are fewer, as of 1 October 2026. The score is the average of what they say, from 0 if they speak of it very badly to 10 if they speak of it very well. Where only a few mention something, the score stays close to the guide’s average: a handful of voices does not make a reputation.
The hotels we weigh it against in Las Vegas:

These are not Terrace categories. Terrace Studio King and Two Queen publish 730 square feet, about 67.8 m², and private terraces, for 3 or 4 guests respectively. Fountain View is an explicitly selected variant rather than a view guaranteed with every reservation. The general FAQ’s terrace wording needs to be read alongside individual room categories. Terrace Studio King has a large bathroom with a bubbler tub and terrace. Terrace One Bedroom publishes 720 square feet, about 66.9 m², one king and 3 guests maximum: telescoping doors separate bedroom and living area, with a deep Japanese soaking tub. It has a Fountain View variant. Terrace Suite Fountain View rises to 1,070 square feet, about 99.4 m², with 2 bathrooms and a 3-guest maximum. Executive Suite is not another name for Terrace; City Suite One Bedroom has an active 1,160-square-foot page, about 107.8 m², with a king and 3 guests maximum, despite not appearing in the current main index. Sahra Spa, Salon & Hammam has a vitality pool, monsoon rain showers, sauna, steam room and cool mist room; hammam rituals use a heated motherstone, soaking tubs and stone loungers. Facilities open 8am–6pm, treatments and salon 9am–6pm. Spa access is 18-plus; younger salon guests need an adult. Hotel guest passes cost $100 Monday–Thursday or $150 Friday–Sunday subject to availability; non-hotel guests must book a treatment. Boulevard is a social setting with music and Strip views; Chelsea is presented as a more secluded retreat. Both list 9am–5pm on 1 October 2026. Marquee Dayclub is a separate 21-plus ticketed or reserved venue rather than a third automatically included hotel pool. Pool cabanas and daybeds have food and drink minimums, full prepayment and 48-hour cancellation; sales tax, 8.75% on the pool pages and 8.375% on the booking pages, an 18% gratuity and a 4% service fee are additional. Any unspent minimum becomes a rental fee. Consulted sources do not provide a precise temperature or full calendar guaranteeing every pool open and heated throughout winter. Breakfast is not included with ordinary rates or resort fees unless a specific offer says so. Wicked Spoon lists 8.30am–1.30pm daily rather than buffet dinner, despite the Google Hotels amenity label. The current page does not expose a verifiable adult buffet price; children up to 5 eat free with an adult, ages 6–10 half price. Bottomless beverages cost $30 extra per person for 90 minutes. The $55 plus tax resort fee includes Wi-Fi, specified calls, digital newspapers and magazines, 24-hour fitness and tennis and pickleball court access. Boulevard fitness is open 24 hours with a hotel key, Chelsea 5am–6pm; minimum age 16. Listed classes cost $20 and are not automatically included. Standard incidental authorisation is $150 daily; Bungalow and Chelsea Penthouse require $1,000 per night. This is an authorisation rather than necessarily a final charge. The resort combines casino, nightlife and social pools. Reviews praise the terraces and the location, and some report Marquee music; experiences differ by tower and room. The Bungalow page explicitly warns about music when Marquee operates. Rooms are non-smoking; policy permits lawful terrace smoking with an ashtray and closed door, while banning marijuana throughout. Smoking areas are therefore part of the resort. Fountain View names the outlook. Noise and bustle also depend on the room’s position and on events. The meetings page names weddings and events, but consulted current sources do not publish a verifiable chapel package with price and capacity. They state over 200,000 square feet of meeting space overall, a 40,000-square-foot Chelsea venue and a 37,000-square-foot fourth-floor ballroom: areas rather than wedding capacities. 2 second-floor boardrooms each seat 20. Bungalow’s 10-person light reception capacity is neither 10 overnight guests nor a general ceremony capacity. The FAQ prohibits using ordinary rooms as meeting space; catering, accommodation and meals have separate terms. Current sources do not state seasonal closure of the whole hotel; the calendar read on 1 October 2026 offers nights between October 2026 and January 2027. A missing price does not establish closure. Pools and venues have their own calendars rather than universal winter opening. The former “New Year’s Eve at The Cosmopolitan” URL now returns the homepage; consulted current events and dining pages do not provide a verifiable gala menu, price and inclusions for 31 December 2026. Google Hotels classifies The Cosmopolitan as 5-star; Google Places records 4.6/5 from 79,095 reviews on 1 October 2026. The listing also covers casino, bar and restaurant visits. We read 636 reviews with a text, the latest 500 of them used in the comparison with Bellagio, Wynn, Venetian and Caesars. These are not 500 verified stays in one category: some write about a bar, others about one particular room. The private terrace, the location on the central Strip, the space and the beds recur. Between April and September 2026 queues at check-in recur too, as do rooms that show their age or were found not clean on arrival. Source: Google Hotels · Official hotel website
