For film-town Los Angeles inside the hotel, with breakfast at the Polo Lounge and an afternoon in a cabana, The Beverly Hills Hotel starts at $944 for one night, 2 adults, 25–27 November 2026: the lowest price any seller showed on Google. To explore Beverly Hills on foot, stay nearer Rodeo Drive.

The path between the bungalows, lawns and palms, the pink cottages behind
  1. The bungalow room to ask for

For bungalow life I would ask for a Bungalow Room with Patio: 52 m², a private patio onto the gardens, a deep bathtub and separate shower in dark marble, and a king or 2 double beds.

  2. The weeks that cost less

In the calendar read on 13 October 2026, single nights from 21 to 27 November 2026 ran from $944 to $1,014 for 2 adults. The dearest single night shown was 17 October 2026, at $5,700.

  3. Tax, parking and spa

Rates exclude the City of Beverly Hills’ 14% occupancy tax, a 1.2% city business tax and 2 smaller levies that the hotel lists, read 15 October 2026. Parking is $70 a day, and spa treatment prices include the 20% service charge.

  4. Sunday brunch with jazz

On Sundays the Polo Lounge serves brunch from 11am to 3pm; on the patio, which the hotel sets among palm trees and flowers, it comes with light jazz.

What The Beverly Hills Hotel is

The hotel is older than the city that bears its name: it opened on 12 May 1912 among bean fields, and the city of Beverly Hills came later. The pink came in 1948; the following year the architect Paul R. Williams built the Crescent Wing and reworked the Polo Lounge, the Fountain Coffee Room and the lobby, while the decorator Don Loper hung the Martinique banana-leaf wallpaper, designed in 1942, in the corridors. Since 1987 the hotel has belonged to the Sultan of Brunei, and since 1996 it has been run by the Dorchester Collection.

Its heart is outdoors. The pool, which began in 1938 as the Sand and Pool Club, is for hotel guests from 7am to 10pm, with striped cabanas to book; the gardens hold 23 bungalows, among them Marilyn Monroe’s, No. 1, and No. 5, which with the Presidential Bungalow is the only one with its own pool and jacuzzi. The Polo Lounge serves from 7am to 11pm, the Fountain Coffee Room is a 19-stool counter from 1949, and the spa is small: 4 treatment rooms and a couples’ suite, open to non-guests too.

Guests are happy with the setting, the service and breakfast. On Google the hotel scores 4.6 out of 5 from 1,280 reviews, on Tripadvisor 4.7 from 1,565, and the MICHELIN Guide renewed its 3 Keys in October 2025. Parking is valet only, at $70 a day, and breakfast is à la carte, outside the room rate.

We read the 500 most recent Google reviews with text, from November 2022 to 3 October 2026, and counted who talks about what: 93 guests in 100 are happy with the setting and 82 with the service; some find the price high, while others say the hotel is worth every dollar. Around them sit the official pages of all 30 room categories, the 2026 menus, a year of Google Hotels prices and walking routes measured on OpenStreetMap.

  1. Location

9 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. Guests write about the palm gardens, sheltered from the traffic of Sunset Boulevard, and about the Beverly Hills of villas all around.

  2. Room

8 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. Guests describe spacious, clean and private rooms, some with a balcony or a patio, and the banana-leaf wallpaper that follows them down the corridors.

The scores come from 500 Google reviews with text, left from 15 November 2022 to 3 October 2026. The other hotels are the ones weighed for a stay in Beverly Hills: for each we read its latest 500 Google reviews with text, or all of them where there are fewer, as of 4 October 2026. The score is the average of what they say, from 0 if they speak of it very badly to 10 if they speak of it very well. Where only a few mention something, the score stays close to the guide’s average: a handful of voices does not make a reputation.

Questions before you go

Sources read on 4 October 2026.

How much does a night at The Beverly Hills Hotel cost?

On Google Hotels, read on 4 October 2026 for 2 adults before tax, the cheapest night of each month runs from $894 (28 November 2026, a lone low night between dearer ones) to $1,091 (July 2027): $1,007 on 25 October, $928 on 28 December, also a lone low night, and $992 on 3 January 2027. Some October nights climb to $5,700 (14 October) and $6,400 (17 October). Tax comes on top, 15.563% according to the offer terms (the hotel’s overview page says 15.82%), plus valet at $70 a day; breakfast is not included.

Is breakfast included?

No. It is à la carte, with no buffet: at the Polo Lounge eggs Benedict cost $42 and filter coffee $18, at the Fountain Coffee Room 2 eggs $22. Google Hotels lists a breakfast buffet; the hotel says breakfast is à la carte everywhere. The Bed & Breakfast offer gives a $95 daily credit.

Can non-guests use the pool or the spa?

The pool and gym are for hotel guests only: the hotel sells no day pass and is not among the pools bookable on ResortPass. The spa does take outside guests for treatments, from 10am to 6pm; a 60-minute massage costs $300 with the 20% service charge included.

How much is a pool cabana?

The hotel does not publish it: the cabanas, for 4, with TV, safe, fridge and robes, are booked and priced on reservation. In 2023 a cabana movie-night package for 4 cost $1,700 (ABC7).

Is The Beverly Hills Hotel open all year?

Yes: it is open all year, pool included, and no closure of rooms, pool or restaurants is announced for late 2026. 5 new spaces designed by Ken Fulk open to the left of the lobby this year, starting with a 94-seat Supper Club; Bar Nineteen12 is shown as closed. Google Hotels has no prices yet for September 2027: its calendar simply stops there for now.

How far is Rodeo Drive on foot?

24 to 29 minutes: 1.8 km to Chanel at 400 North Rodeo and 2.1 km to Two Rodeo at Wilshire (OpenStreetMap, 4 October 2026). The Google Hotels card says 8 minutes, which is wrong. By car the hotel reckons 5 minutes, and the house car is free within 3 miles.

How far is LAX?

About 22 km: 26–30 minutes without traffic by OpenStreetMap routing; the hotel says 30–40 minutes and the MICHELIN Guide warns it can take an hour. Transfers are booked through the concierge at an unpublished price; from the Beverly Hills Suite up, the return trip is included.

How much is parking?

Valet only: $70 a day for overnight guests per the FAQ, “from $75” on the overview page. For diners the hotel publishes no rate; OpenTable gives $15 with Polo Lounge validation. The MICHELIN Guide’s $44 is out of date.

Does The Beverly Hills Hotel allow dogs?

Yes: up to 2 house-trained dogs per room, each up to 20 kg, $150 a stay, with a bowl, a bed and a treat on arrival. They may not be left alone in the room or go into the spa; Expedia gives a 35 lb limit, the hotel 45 lb. No cats.

Is it good for children?

Yes: children of any age, free cots, an extra bed at $35 a night (not in the Superior rooms), many connecting rooms. The Family Time offer, until 31 December 2026, takes up to 50% off a second room and gives $150 of breakfast a day. There is no kids’ club.

What should you wear to the Polo Lounge?

Yes, smart: no baseball caps, sportswear or flip-flops, and no shorts for men after 4pm. It does not apply under 12. Booking is through SevenRooms from the hotel’s page.

Can you hold a wedding at The Beverly Hills Hotel?

Yes: the Crystal Ballroom, 704 m², seats up to 550 for dinner and opens onto the Crystal Garden and its gazebo; the Rodeo Ballroom takes 360. The hotel publishes no prices: on WeddingWire the ceremony site fee starts at $3,000 and the bar at $75 a head.

What happens on New Year’s Eve?

The Polo Lounge serves a New Year’s Eve dinner at $450 a head, with a children’s menu and a party in the room; Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day cost $280, plus $150 for wine pairing (sample menus on the festive page, before tax and service). Rooms on the festive offer start at $1,275.

Is it cheaper to book direct?

Not always. On Google, on 6 October 2026 and 9 February 2027 the hotel’s site and Booking.com charged the same; on 10 November the site asked $1,465 and Booking.com $1,365. Booking direct brings the best-rate guarantee and offers such as a fourth night free; through Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts, breakfast for 2, a $100 credit and a 4pm check-out.

Why has there been a boycott?

In 2014, when Brunei, which owns the hotel through the Dorchester Collection, introduced Sharia law, groups cancelled more than $2 million of events; the boycott faded, flared again in 2019 and has since dwindled. Ownership is unchanged, and the hotel says it does not tolerate discrimination.
