The Beverly Hills Hotel spa: what the treatments cost, who may book and what is kept for hotel guests

The Beverly Hills Hotel spa opens every day from 10am to 6pm, to hotel guests and outside clients alike. A 60-minute signature massage is listed at $300 «including 20% service charge»; the brochure also mentions a 20% gratuity on the final bill, so ask for the total.

The Beverly Hills Hotel Spa is built for coming and going unseen. Its check-in is set apart from the hotel’s public rooms, and from there you are taken to a guest lounge to wait. Beyond it are 4 treatment suites, one duet suite and a nail suite that takes its daylight from a citrus garden; the men’s and women’s locker rooms have steam showers, and The Salon by Joseph is on the list of services.

The signature massage comes in 4 moods, Calm, Rest, Energy and Bliss, and you choose the scent from UMA’s ayurvedic aromatherapy oils: $300 for 60 minutes, $420 for 90. The muscle recovery massage opens with a Hypervolt percussion device, goes on to deep tissue and stretching, and sends you home with the CBD balm, for $360 or $480. At the same prices the pink Himalayan massage lays warm salt stones on the body and finishes on the face with chilled gemstone rollers. The maternity massage, for the second and third trimesters and for new mothers, costs what the signature does.

There are 7 facials. Augustinus Bader supplies the AB Glow, 60 minutes for $360, and The Method, 90 minutes with microcurrent and LED for $474. Natura Bissé’s Diamond Luminous Oxygen is $360 and its Anti-gravity $594; Valmont’s Firmness of the Hills is $420. 2 were created for this hotel alone: Valmont’s L’Elixir des Glaciers, 90 minutes with a bio-collagen mask for $714, and the Red Carpet Radiance by the facialist Angela Caglia, an hour of LED, microcurrent and a multi-acid peel for $540. LED, oxygen or microcurrent can be added to any facial for $60 each.

The body rituals last 90 minutes. The ayurvedic one and the Vitamin C + C one are $474; The Hollywood Glow, which strings together the warm-stone massage, a hand and foot scrub, a scalp massage and a collagen face mask, is $600. So is the longest thing on the list, the «Pink Palace» manicure and pedicure: 2.5 hours that start with a glass of champagne or a wellness drink and a magnesium foot bath. A classic manicure is $108 and a classic pedicure $156.

Every figure on the hotel’s page is given «including 20% service charge». The price list at the back of the brochure prints the same figures under «Prices include a 20% service charge», and the booking site sells each treatment as «20% service charge included». One line does not sit with the rest: the brochure’s information page says that «a 20% gratuity will be added for each service on your final bill», without saying whether this is the 20% already inside the listed price or a second one, and the booking terms are silent on gratuity. The prices here are the listed ones; the reception can tell you what the final bill will show. The brochure does settle who may come: hotel guests and «external guests» are both welcome for treatments, while the pool and the fitness centre are reserved for those staying. Dogs stay outside; service animals are admitted.

A guest in November 2025 called the spa an excellent experience, noted that it has both male and female massage therapists and mentioned a treatment for couples. A couple on a birthday stay in June 2025 called their facials wonderful. A guest in July 2025 praised the spa’s staff and thought the space ought to be larger, and one in June 2026 wished the hotel had a sauna and found the gym very small, with no changing rooms.

5 things to settle before Sunset Boulevard

  • Reserve ahead

The spa strongly recommends booking in advance, online or on +1 310 887 2006. The brochure asks for a credit card to hold the time; the booking site’s terms take payment in full when you book.

  • Come 15 minutes early

The spa recommends checking in at least 15 minutes before a first appointment, for a short consultation.

  • Be on time

A late arrival shortens the treatment: it ends when scheduled and is charged in full.

  • Switch it to silent

Devices may not be used during treatments.

  • Give 24 hours

Cancel at least 24 hours ahead to avoid the full fee.

Longer hours at the Bel-Air, or a pool with the treatment at the Beverly Wilshire?

3 other hotel spas, each from its own page on 11 October 2026.

The sister hotel in Stone Canyon, Hotel Bel-Air, has more treatment rooms, 7, with steam rooms and the Enclave, a private space for 2 with a marble tub. It opens an hour earlier and closes an hour later. Its signature massage is listed at $275, and the booking terms apply a 20% discretionary gratuity on departure, where the $300 here is listed with a 20% service charge inside it.

The Beverly Wilshire gives daytime use of its pool to anyone who books a treatment of 60 minutes or more, and its spa has a eucalyptus steam room and an ice fountain. The Peninsula Beverly Hills stays open until 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Beverly Hills Hotel spa: your questions

Can I book The Beverly Hills Hotel spa without staying at the hotel?

Yes. The brochure welcomes external guests for treatments. There is no pass for the facilities alone on the pages read.

How much is a massage at The Beverly Hills Hotel spa?

$300 for the 60-minute signature massage and $420 for 90 minutes, each listed as including a 20% service charge, on the menu read on 11 October 2026.

Is the tip included?

The listed prices include a 20% service charge: the hotel’s menu, the brochure’s price list and the booking site all print it so. The brochure also says a 20% gratuity will be added for each service on the final bill, and does not say whether that is the same 20%. Ask the reception to confirm the total when you reserve.

Can spa clients use the pool?

No. The hotel’s answer is that the pool is reserved for guests staying in the hotel.

Is there a sauna or a steam room?

The locker rooms have steam showers. Neither the hotel’s page nor its brochure mentions a sauna or a steam room, and neither says there is none; a guest in June 2026 wrote of wishing the hotel had a sauna.

What is the minimum age?

18 for every service. A teenager over 13 may have a treatment with an adult present at all times, or with a parental consent waiver.

Is there a treatment for 2?

There is one duet suite, and a guest in November 2025 mentioned a treatment for couples; the menu read names no couples’ package of its own.

What if I am late or need to cancel?

The brochure asks for 24 hours’ notice of a cancellation, and a late start is not made up at the end.
