The Beverly Hills Hotel: a stool at the Fountain Coffee Room

The Fountain Coffee Room is The Beverly Hills Hotel’s 1950s-style diner: you eat on a stool at a curved counter, and Hollywood stars have been coming since 1949. People come for silver dollar pancakes, milkshakes and the house cakes, with the service working right in front of them.

The FCR Bloody Mary is made with Grey Goose vodka and house-spiced tomato juice; the Mimosa and the Bellini use Moët & Chandon Imperial champagne. Every cocktail is $25.3
