St. Regis Bora Bora prices: a night villa by villa, and what is added

Marriott sells the resort in Pacific francs and prints 2 figures for each villa. For the night of 12 November 2026 the Reef side Garden villa, with 1 bedroom and a private pool, showed 135,240 and 155,791 francs under the words «Taxes and all fees included»; we read the first as the rate and the second as the total, and give totals from here on. Each is the lowest regular rate for one night and 2 guests. The franc is tied to the euro at 119.33, says the travel guide of Tahiti.com, which makes that total about €1,306; against the dollar it moves.

The nights read in November, December and March were the low ones. For 6 March 2027 the list held 8 kinds of villa, from a Beachside villa at 132,595 francs to an Overwater Superior at 156,056 and an Overwater Deluxe at 197,393. For 12 December 2026 it opened with the Overwater Superior at 162,547 and the Overwater Deluxe at 206,462. For 12 November neither the Beachside nor the Overwater Superior was on the list, and after the Reef side Garden villa the next price was the Overwater Deluxe at 253,755.

On the April and July nights the same villas cost far more. For 20 April 2027 the Reef side Garden villa was 278,948 francs, the Beachside and the Overwater Superior 332,574 each and the Overwater Deluxe 354,918, which is 157,525 more than for 6 March. For 26 July 2027 the list changed shape. 6 kinds of villa were offered only on a rate named «Experiences - Dining Package», from the Overwater Superior at 405,420 francs, about €3,397, to the Beachside at 440,190 and the Overwater Deluxe at 447,600; the capture does not say what the package holds. Only the Overwater Royal with its pool, at 812,412 francs, and its 2-bedroom version, at 1,142,544, carried the «Rates from» of the other nights. And for the night of 28 December 2026 Marriott answered «Your selected hotel has no available rooms» to a one-night search.

The gap between the 2 figures is regular enough to work out. On the nights of 2026 the total is the rate plus 14.9% plus 400 francs; on the nights of 2027, the rate plus 14% plus 3,000 francs. That is our arithmetic, tested on all 39 prices read, and it holds to the franc; Marriott’s list itemises nothing. On the lowest night it comes to 18,915 francs: 113,680 becomes 132,595. On the November villa, 20,551.

Then come the things the regular rate leaves out. The resort stands on its own islet, and the shared boat from Bora Bora airport, a ride of 20 minutes, is charged for and has to be reserved, by the overview. Breakfast is served at Te Pahu «for a fee» the dining page leaves unpriced. Members of Marriott Bonvoy from Silver level up are offered breakfast for 2 and 10,000 francs of resort credit a day, on stays of 4 nights or more.

Google Hotels gives the wider sweep, in dollars. On 13 October 2026 its calendar, each night searched alone, showed $2,026 for 17 October, $1,001 for 12 November, $1,200 for 12 December, $1,200 for 25 January 2027 and $1,148 for 6 March; then $2,675 for 20 April, $3,050 for 24 June, $3,807 for 26 July and $2,608 for 29 July. The top fell between Christmas and New Year: $4,956 for 28 December and $4,135 for 31 December 2026, with $3,490 for 24 December. The seasons match Marriott’s list. The levels do not always: Google says neither which villa nor whether taxes are inside, and for 12 November its $1,001 sits far under the 155,791 francs at which Marriott’s own list had begun 2 days earlier.

Guests on Google agree on one thing, that it costs a great deal, and differ on whether it should. «Expensive but fantastic», wrote one in March 2026; «outrageously expensive, almost ridiculous», wrote another in October 2025, who praised everything else. On the extras they give figures: a breakfast buffet at around $60 a person (September 2026), a can of soda at about $10 (August 2025), and a 5% fee added to the final bill (May 2025).

The lowest price changes villa as well as level: a Beachside villa in March, a Reef side Garden villa in November and April, an Overwater Superior in December and July. The Overwater Deluxe was listed on all 5 nights with prices, in July on the dining-package rate, so its column shows mostly the season.

Between March and April the cheapest villa more than doubled, and for 26 July it stood at 405,420 francs, on the one rate offered for it, sold with a dining package.
