Grand Velas Riviera Maya prices: what 2 pay, and what stays out

This resort’s prices hardly move. From Sunday 3 January to Sunday 26 September 2027, Google’s lowest line¹ stays between $1,039 and $1,150 on 256 of 265 nights, and the weekday changes almost nothing. The break is the holidays: $2,175 to $2,194 from Saturday 19 to Wednesday 23 December, then $3,180 on Christmas Day and $3,125 on 1 and 2 January. Thursday 18 to Saturday 20 February stands at $1,408 to $1,455. Christmas Eve and 27 to 31 December have no price.

Now one night from every seller. On Friday 27 November the hotel’s own listing² and Preferred Hotels & Resorts both show $1,324, with no suite named. Hotels.com, Booking.com and Expedia name the Nature View Suite, Zen Experience, at $1,390, $1,392 and $1,397, with no free cancellation stated. With it the same suite costs $1,464 at Hotels.com and $1,471 at Expedia until 20 November, and $1,466 at Booking.com, which sets its own last day. Super.com’s $958 and Agoda’s $1,157 name no suite and no cancellation term.

On Christmas Day the hotel’s listing and Preferred Hotels & Resorts both stand at $3,998, and Preferred names the Zen Grand Nature View Suite; ask it for the last day to cancel. Traveluro’s $3,180 and Super.com’s $3,193 come with no suite.

Here is 27 November as a bill, bought from the hotel for 2. Base rate $1,094, taxes and fees $230, total $1,324, or $662 each. Gratuities sit in the plan³, so that line stays empty. The ride from the airport comes on top: a guest in March 2026⁹ paid about $210 for a private transfer both ways.

One guest in April 2026⁹ wrote of a bill after every meal, with a space for a voluntary tip. It does not have to be paid. Another, the same month, could not get a table at Cocina de Autor.

With the months this close, the sea decides. A guest in April 2026⁹ found sargassum everywhere and a red flag every day, and the resort⁵ counts June to October as rainy.
