Who the hotel’s restaurants are for

Why go

You want one address for a family buffet, a starred Cantonese dinner and a late cocktail, with hours and children’s prices in print.

The prices

When to look elsewhere

You want an open bay view from a terrace table: until 2027 the NS Square building site stands in front of the pool deck.

Which to choose

New names since 2023, and 3 kitchens with a chef’s name on them

The hotel reopened on 8 September 2023 with its restaurants renamed and rebuilt: what is written about eating here before that day describes other rooms.

The buffet used to be Melt Café, as a blog of a 2022 stay still calls it. Since the reopening it is embu, named after the tembusu, one of Singapore’s heritage trees: seafood on ice, Indian and Asian dishes, wood-fired pizzas, a barbecue, homemade desserts and a buffet corner for children, in a room of greenery with a patio outside.

Cherry Garden carries Chef Fei’s name and, by its own page, one MICHELIN star in the 2026 Singapore guide. Born in Chaoshan, he has led his Guangzhou restaurant, Jiang by Chef Fei, to 2 MICHELIN stars for 7 years running; here the kitchen is run by chef de cuisine Steven Luo, among stone walls and wooden trellises modelled on a courtyard house.

Zuicho is a Japanese counter of 9 seats, with private rooms, overseen by the Michelin-awarded Fumio Suzuki; both look over the city skyline. Morton’s is the American steakhouse, with 3 private rooms and a bar whose Power Hour runs from Monday to Friday between 5pm and 7pm.

At MO BAR the seventh cocktail menu, The City of Art, has 15 drinks drawn from Singapore’s perfumers, designers and musicians, and the bar has its own gin, Edition No.1, made with the local distillery Distillius (cocktail menu).

On 12 October 2026 we read each venue’s page, 14 menus, Google’s results in Singapore, which for this search share not one address with those for the hotel’s name, and the Google reviews written since the reopening. Of the 1,222 with a text, 78 name embu, 37 MO BAR, 18 Cherry Garden and 16 Dolce Vita. A family in April 2026 remember the robot that clears plates at embu; a guest in March 2026 writes of paying “over $200” for the buffet and being seated with under 20 minutes left before its 2:30pm close.
