Royal Mansour prices: a night in a riad month by month, in dirhams

A calendar price is the lowest Google showed for that night, and Google names neither the riad nor what the money buys. The seller list for the night of 12 October 2026 shows where such a figure comes from. The lowest, 27,470 dirhams, was offered by Vio.com, goseek.com, Etrip.net and dealbase.com; Expedia stood at 30,712, Booking.com, Agoda and Priceline at 31,099, and the link Google marks as the hotel’s own at 31,198. The parameters of Booking.com’s link give 2,918 dirhams of its figure as tax, those of the hotel’s link 198.

Across the year the price draws 3 plateaus. October and November are dear: a median of 29,719 dirhams over the 13 priced nights of October and about 26,660 over the 28 of November. On 1 December the calendar drops by a third, to 17,686 dirhams, and 14 of the month’s first 15 nights stay between 17,623 and 17,843. January and February hold near 20,000, with medians of 20,323 and 19,795. March climbs from 18,604 dirhams on the 4th to 29,279 on the 29th, and from 5 April to 4 May all 30 nights sit between 26,062 and 28,243. June comes down again, from 27,836 on the 1st to 17,427 on the 16th, and July and August are the floor: 62 nights at a median of 15,318. The medians and counts are ours, worked on the calendar read on 11 October 2026.

Above that pattern stand single nights at about twice the price of their neighbours. The calendar gave 55,561 dirhams for 14 October 2026, between 27,263 the night before and 29,182 the night after; 61,649 for 18 October; 47,119 for 19 November; 43,585 for 5 December and 43,766 for 19 December; 48,181 for 31 May 2027. Google gives no reason for any of them. For the highest of all, 24 October, the hotel’s own booking engine had one riad on its list, a Privilege with 2 bedrooms, at 79,000 dirhams before city tax. For the other 4 nights we asked, it listed 4 categories.

The hotel sells in dirhams through that engine, riad by riad and at 2 rates. For 9 July 2027 a Superior riad was 15,306 dirhams on the Advance purchase rate and 17,000 on the Best flexible rate; a Premier riad 18,908 and 21,000; a Privilege 42,649 and 49,000; a Prestige, with 3 bedrooms, 80,135 and 89,000. The Superior was 18,990 and 20,000 for 10 December 2026, 24,250 and 25,000 for 8 November, 28,500 and 30,000 for 12 April 2027. Google’s lowest figure was under the hotel’s cheapest on each of those nights: 14,981 dirhams in July, 17,623 in December, 21,941 in November and 26,402 in April.

Take the July night to its total. The engine adds one line to the rate, a city tax of 99 dirhams, and its lines for fees and resort charges read zero: 15,306 becomes 15,405 dirhams, paid in full at confirmation and lost if you cancel. The flexible rate comes to 17,099, with a refundable deposit of 50% and free cancellation until 7 days before arrival. Under both rates the engine prints the same list: welcome amenities, a full breakfast each day, the minibar’s soft drinks, fast track at Marrakech airport on arrival and departure, and private transfers to and from the airport.

Some nights had no price in the calendar: 25 October to 1 November 2026, 26 November, 23 December to 2 January, 25 to 28 March 2027, 13 to 16 May, and everything after 6 September 2027. We had read 6 of the priced nights 10 days earlier, on 1 October, and 5 of them were lower on 11 October. The night of 4 November went from 27,198 to 25,827 dirhams, 9 December from 18,420 to 17,797, 23 April from 27,625 to 26,435, 3 July from 16,028 to 15,345 and 9 August from 15,717 to 15,385. Only 21 January rose, from 17,298 to 18,004.

Guests who mention the rate on Google quote it in euros. One, in May 2025, put a night at about €2,500 and called it expensive «but valuable». Another, in March 2026, thought that at €2,500 a night nothing in the riad should fail, and listed what did: slow screens, a dead light switch by the bed, lights that flickered on the dimmer. A guest who became engaged here in June 2025 wrote that it was «worth every single penny».

On each of the 4 nights the lowest figure Google showed was below the hotel’s non-refundable price, by 424 dirhams in July and by 2,408 in November. For these nights Google does not say who sold at that figure, nor whether the airport transfers of the hotel’s rate came with it.

The last row is the peak of the year: for 24 October 2026 the engine had no Superior riad on its list.
