Siyam World, the Maldives water park afloat on the lagoon and the villas with slides of their own

Maldives water park days at Siyam World are spent on an inflatable course floating in the lagoon: slides, trampolines, climbing walls and obstacles to scramble over and fall off. It comes with every villa’s all-inclusive plan, as often as you like.

The choice, in short

Why choose Siyam World

Your children are of school age and happy in the sea, the adults mean to get on the inflatables too, or you are a group that wants a villa with its own slide as well as the big park.

Included access

When to look elsewhere

You want a quiet island, a lazy river in a pool, or set hours to plan the day by: the resort’s park page says the course runs by day and prints no times.

Other parks

The island around the park: 468 villas, a bus line and a seaplane

A resort big enough to run its own buses, with a club for children too small for the inflatables and a seaplane that is charged apart from the room.

Siyam World has all of Dhigurah, a natural island in Noonu Atoll, for its 468 villas: on the beach, over the water and in residences. Its size changes with the official page you read: the destination page gives 54 hectares, the 2026 factsheet 54 acres. A guest in August 2026 put the walk round the shore at about 3 km, and nobody has to walk it, because buses circle the island and stop at shelters named after cities, Delhi, Tokyo, Istanbul, each with a screen that shows where the next one is (Google reviews). The factsheet lists a full-size football pitch and courts beside the watersports. Families can plan full days here; choose the villa for the space you want between outings.

A child under 6, the age the park’s 2021 launch report gave, has Kidz World instead: WOW includes it from 3 to 11.99 years, with crafts, yoga and junior marine biology. In May 2025 a family wrote that their 11-year-old took to the water park and their youngest to the club (Google reviews). Under the resort’s family offer no more than 2 under-12s stay with their parents and eat on the accompanying adult’s plan; at dinner that means the children’s menu. A third child costs $250 a night and cots are free up to the age of 2 (Booking.com). Booking.com lists no extra beds, while the resort’s factsheet shows an extra bed or sofa bed in every villa category.

For an adult who has fallen in often enough, Veyo Spa sits inland, in the island’s jungle, and opens from 9am to 9pm. Anyone booked for a treatment can use the hydrotherapy area, steam room, sauna and plunge pools. Treatments are paid for, at menu prices that already include service and taxes, and the plan gives $50 of spa credit per adult per stay (WOW). The spa describes itself as unsuitable for infants and children under 3.

Arrival is by seaplane from Malé, 40 minutes, flying between 6am and 4pm, or by a domestic flight of about 30 minutes to Maafaru and 15 minutes by speedboat (arrival). The shared seaplane is charged apart from the room: the resort’s destination page prices it as a return fare, $490 per adult and $295 per child. Booking.com’s terms give those 2 figures until 31 October 2026, the child’s for ages 2 to 11, and $515 and $310 afterwards. A family pricing a December stay should count the higher fare.

Stay 7 nights and the free transfer offer carries 2 people there and back, or one person from 4 nights; it does not apply between 23 December 2026 and 10 January 2027. The 3-night prices read on Google are for a shorter stay and include no flight. Weather is the thing to allow for on a short trip made for the park: a guest in August 2026 lost the first 24 hours to seaplane delays, and a family there at the end of July 2026 found many water activities cancelled by wind and rain (Google reviews).

A day at the water park, from the breakfast buffet to dinner

The park opens by day and prints no timetable, so the meals set the clock; the restaurant hours are the resort’s, the rest is what guests did in between.

  • Baraabaru or Tempo

Breakfast on the plan is at either buffet (meal plan). Tempo, on the beach, serves it from 6.30 to 10am (factsheet); a guest in September 2022 had a villa close to both Tempo and the floating park (Google reviews).

  • On the inflatables

Slippery slides, climbing walls, obstacles and trampolines, says the resort’s page, and use is unlimited on the plan. Staying upright is the game: in March 2025 one guest found it far harder than expected, and a parent in August 2026 did not enjoy falling in all the time, while the children had fun. One guest in October 2022 wrote that the lifeguard looked after their 2 boys on the inflatables, and another in June 2023 saw one on duty through a morning and into the early afternoon (Google reviews).

  • Shipwrecked, Jungali, Together or Tempo

Lunch is at Tempo, Together, Shipwrecked or Jungali (meal plan). Shipwrecked, the beach and pool bar the factsheet describes as shaped like a ship, is the one a guest in September 2022 placed near the park (Google reviews). The factsheet gives its light lunch from 10.30am to 4pm, Tempo’s lunch from 12.30 to 3pm, and 10am to 6pm for Jungali, the swim-up bar at the family pool; a family in August 2026 found food served at Shipwrecked until 3pm (Google reviews).

  • Kayaks, go-karts or Kidz World

Non-motorised watersports and the sports courts are on the plan (WOW): guests name kayaks, paddleboards and windsurfers. The motorised rides are paid for: a guest in June 2026 rode a rubber duck towed by a jet-ski, and a family in April 2026 wrote that the Mega Duck cost them dearly and the children loved it (Google reviews). The island also has an electric go-kart track and a horse ranch (factsheet); being on the island does not put them on the plan. Children from 3 to 11.99 have Kidz World, with crafts, yoga and junior marine biology, and that is where a child too small for the inflatables spends the hour: the park page today names no minimum age.

  • Takrai, Kurry Leaf or Kaage

Dinner can move each night: Takrai is Thai, Kurry Leaf Indian and Kaage Maldivian, among the restaurants on the plan. The standard plan covers one starter, one main and one dessert, and Arigato, the Japanese, is the exception, charged at 50% off (terms). Book before you fly: a guest in August 2025 learned on arrival that the restaurants go quickly and should have been booked ahead, and 2 more, in August and September 2026, struggled to find a table (Google reviews).

Dhigurah, the lagoon and the 2 airports

Siyam World has Dhigurah, in Noonu Atoll, to itself; guests fly in by seaplane from Malé, or to Maafaru and on by speedboat.

What the park costs, and what else the plan covers

Nothing at the gate. Siyam Water World is part of WOW All-Inclusive, the plan every villa is sold on, and you can go back as often as you like.

Included in WOW

  • Siyam Water World, without limit
  • Non-motorised watersports
  • The sports courts and fitness classes
  • Kidz World, for ages 3 to 11.99
  • One cruise, chosen from 3: sunset, snorkelling safari or local island

What floats in the lagoon, and the slides off the villas

Siyam Water World is the course everyone shares, out on the lagoon; the slide on an overwater villa’s deck belongs to that villa alone.

Floating parkSiyam Water World is one connected inflatable playground on the lagoon: the resort’s page names slippery slides, obstacles, trampolines and climbing walls. A guest in June 2026 found it very large, with enough obstacles never to be bored; one in January 2023 called it fun and far from easy (Google reviews).
The launch designThe measurements come from a report written for the opening on 28 October 2021: a 2,580 m² course designed by the German firm Wibit Sports, with halfpipes, a tower and a 3.2-metre springboard (launch report). Those figures describe the course as it was launched; the resort’s 2026 factsheet calls it the Maldives’ largest floating water park.
Villa slideAll 7 overwater categories, 291 villas in all, have a private pool and a slide from the deck into the lagoon (accommodation, factsheet). The slide is the villa’s own and has nothing to do with the shared course. Guests in April 2023 and August 2025 used theirs at high tide, and the first warned against low tide, when the coral is close (Google reviews).
SnorkellingThe inflatables are for play; for fish, guests write about the house reef, snorkelling from the shore and what swims beneath the water villas. In April 2026 one family went in off the pier at Takrai, where the reef drops away, and watched eagle rays and sharks pass.
Included useWOW All-Inclusive names unlimited access to Siyam Water World, and every villa is sold on it, so a guest of the resort pays nothing more. The access belongs to a night’s stay: the park page lists no ticket for visitors staying on another island.
Opening detailThe resort’s page says the park runs by day and gives no clock times or session lengths, so meals and the children’s club are planned by daylight. The sea has its own signal, a family explained in August 2026: one red flag for caution, 2 for no swimming (Google reviews).

The villas with a slide, and the beach suites for small children

The smallest villa with a slide sleeps 2 adults and one child; a family of 4 needs the Lagoon Villa over the water, or a Sunset Pool Beach Villa or a Beach Suite on the sand.

The 81 m² Water Villa with Pool + Slide, of which the island has 157, takes 2 adults and one child; a family of 4 needs another category. The 97 m² Lagoon Villa with Pool + Slide is listed for 2 adults and 2 children, and adds a bathtub. The 95 m² Ocean Villa faces the open sea and is for adults (factsheet). Guests in February and November 2023 describe deep water under the slide and life jackets in every villa; a family in August 2026 found theirs in the bathroom’s top cupboards and adds that only excellent swimmers are allowed in. For a short walk to the park, a guest in September 2022 had a villa at the start of the jetty named Alcantara Bridge, beside Kurry Leaf, with Tempo and the inflatables close by (Google reviews). With small children, or for more time on the sand, the 102 m² Beach Suite with Pool sleeps 2 adults and 2 children, as does the 91 m² Sunset Pool Beach Villa (factsheet). 2-bedroom villas measure 170 m² over the lagoon or 200 m² on the beach; the 3-bedroom ones, 307 m² and 346 m². A beach villa puts the family on the sand and has no slide: that comes only with the overwater categories (accommodation).

3 other Maldives resorts with a water park

One has a lazy river, one keeps its park inside the children’s club and one floats on the sea like Siyam World’s.

Siyam World’s course floats on the sea. At Centara Mirage Lagoon the water is in pools: a lazy river, pool slides and splash zones, with professional lifeguard services and safety equipment stated on the resort’s own page. Kandima’s Aqua Park is part of Kandiland, its children’s club, and opens from 11am to noon and from 4pm to 6pm. Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa lists a floating Aqua Park under Deep Blue Water Sports on its facilities page, with no ages, no admission price and no word on whether the room rate covers it.

Each resort’s own page, read on 5 October 2026. Kandiland takes children from 6 months to 12 years, and under-4s come with a parent or guardian unless a babysitter is booked. Those are Kandima’s rules; they set no age for Siyam Water World.

  • What guests say about the park

On Google guests return to the same things: the water park, the villa slides, the watersports and the horse ranch. A family with 4 weeks at the resort behind them wrote in September 2023 that the park was a firm favourite, visited almost daily for a few hours; in April 2026 another reported that the inflatables were a hit with both children, aged 4 and 8. A guest in November 2023 told readers put off by the name that they would find no noisy bank of slides.

Questions and answers

Is the water park at Siyam World free?

Yes, for anyone staying. WOW All-Inclusive, the plan every villa is sold on, includes it without limit, and the resort’s park page calls access complimentary. The same page lists no ticket for visitors from other islands.

What age can children use Siyam Water World?

Confirm the current age rule before booking: the 2021 launch report gave a minimum of 6. The resort’s page, read on 5 October 2026, speaks of families and names no minimum age or height; in April 2026 a family wrote that their 4-year-old and 8-year-old both loved the inflatables (Google reviews). Younger children have Kidz World, from 3 to 11.99.

What are the opening hours of the floating water park?

None are printed. The resort’s page says the park runs by day, with no opening or closing time, session length or seasonal timetable. A guest in June 2023 saw a lifeguard on duty there through a morning and into the early afternoon (Google reviews).

How much does a water park holiday at Siyam World cost?

For 2 adults and 3 nights, Google Hotels on 5 October 2026 showed the resort’s own site at $1,218 a night for 16–19 November and 7–10 December 2026, and $1,330 for 11–14 January and 8–11 March 2027, in a Water Villa with Pool + Slide on WOW All-Inclusive. The cheapest seller for 7–10 June 2027 was Booking.com, at $993 a night. Taxes are in those prices, and so is the park; the seaplane is charged on top unless the offer you book includes it.

Do you need a villa with a slide to use the water park?

No. The slide belongs to the villa and the park to the plan: the overwater villas have slides off their decks, and WOW opens the park to the beach villas, which have no slide, as well.

Which Maldives water park has a lazy river?

Centara Mirage Lagoon Maldives, whose page lists a lazy river, pool slides and splash zones. Siyam World’s park is an obstacle course floating on the lagoon, with no lazy river among its listed features.

Any villa opens the park, free and as often as you like; for a slide of your own, book one over the water
