From Perrine’s own site and menus, its Resy and Taj pages and the hotel’s pages, read on 18 October 2026, with Forbes of April 2025 and the hotel’s Google reviews.

Perrine opened in 2017 and belongs to the hotel. The hotel’s dining page lists it as its all-day dining menu, Taj calls it a cherished Taj restaurant, and IHCL, the Indian Hotels Company, has held the Pierre’s lease since 2005, says the hotel’s history. Its own home page sums it up as the very best of France and India. In April 2025 the critic John Mariani described for Forbes a long room entered through shining brass doors, a bar at the front and a palette of grey, black, white and silver; the space had worn several concepts before it, he wrote, among them an offshoot of London’s Le Caprice and an Italian trattoria called Sirio. He greeted Vincenzo Garofalo back for a second stint as executive chef, and Resy still names him as the chef.

The same card serves lunch and dinner. It opens on a French onion soup with Swiss cheese baguette at $25, a lobster bisque at $22, escargot over creamy mashed potato at $32 and a salade Niçoise with seared tuna and quail eggs at $34; a coronation chicken, poached, with curry mayonnaise, raisins and apple, is $32. Each of the 4 pastas carries 2 prices, from spaghetti in San Marzano tomato at $28 or $34 to lobster tagliatelle with fava beans at $38 or $44. Among the mains, salmon and branzino are $48, scallops and a half roast chicken $52, a 9oz filet mignon with béarnaise $62 and steak au poivre, a 14oz prime New York strip, $66; the Pierre burger, a blend of A5 Japanese and American Wagyu under Harvest Moon cheddar, is $39. The same fish and meats come simply grilled or roasted for $42 to $60, and sides cost $14 to $19.

The Indian menu is printed under the line «Indian is the New French». Gosht biryani, lamb with saffron rice and raita, costs $55, and rogan josh, lamb shanks stewed with Indian spices, $68, the dearest main on Perrine’s menus; a dhaba chicken curry or a masala fish curry in coconut is $44, an egg curry $34. The vegetarian side runs from kadhi pakora, gram-flour dumplings in a yoghurt curry, at $32 to a vegetable biryani or paneer malai kofta at $38. Every dish comes with 2 parathas, sliced onion and green chilli, the biryanis excepted, and yellow dal is $15, raita or pickle and papad $8.

Breakfast keeps both kitchens on one page. The breakfast menu sells a continental set at $37, with coffee, juice and a choice of viennoiserie, oatmeal or granola, and an American set at $48 built round 2 eggs, an omelette or eggs Benedict. The Indian dishes cost $29: uttapam and idli with sambar and coconut chutney, aloo or gobhi paratha with yoghurt and mango chutney; a masala omelette or akuri, scrambled eggs with ginger, turmeric and cream on brioche, is $33. Pancakes or French toast are $32, a millet shakshuka $33, and coffee or tea $10.

At Sunday brunch the menu turns to French names: pain perdu with berry compote at $32, oeufs Benedict at $35, a homard Benedict of butter-poached Maine lobster at $54 and steak et oeufs at $52. For $79 a person, brunch adds 2 hours of endless refills of one cocktail: a mimosa, a bloody mary or a bellini. Every dish on the dessert menu is $19, a pink-meringue pavlova and a warm chocolate cake with raspberry sauce among them.

The bar at the front pours from 11am until 11pm, with a bar menu of a truffle pizza with Périgord black truffle at $38, a lobster roll with fries at $34 and oysters at $29. The drinks list holds 23 signature cocktails, from a Memento Mori of mezcal, cucumber, jalapeño and Tajín to a Fleurs des Jardins of gin, rose water and crème de violette, most at $35. Champagne by the glass starts at $38 for Taittinger Brut Prestige, and the bottles climb to Salon 2012 at $2,600 and Château Margaux 2010 at $3,560. A patio menu, served from 11.30am to 8pm, offers mezze, a cheese plate and a foie gras torchon at $39; Taj describes the sidewalk tables of the Rose Terrace as seasonal.

Reviewers of the hotel on Google mostly give Perrine a line. In September 2026 a couple on a romantic stay had lunch there and were pleasantly surprised; in March 2026 a guest at a business lunch found the Indian food authentic, and a husband there for his wife’s birthday enjoyed both lunch and the next day’s breakfast. Breakfast draws the sharpest words: in January 2026 a guest whose rate included it found the menu nothing out of the ordinary and the Indian omelette an ordinary omelette with chilli, and in November 2025 another waited more than an hour for a $38 egg dish. In July 2026 a guest who had enjoyed aloo paratha there by day was asked to leave at dinner for wearing a bandana. On Resy Perrine held 4.4 out of 5 from some 1,900 reviews on 18 October 2026.
