Aman Tokyo prices: a night in yen, month by month, and what it includes

We read Google Hotels’ calendar for Aman Tokyo on 11 October 2026, on Google’s Japanese site: one night, 2 adults, in yen, every night to 31 October 2027. It priced 317 nights, the last on 6 September 2027. Each figure is the lowest Google showed for that night; the calendar does not name the suite or say what the price contains. For the night of 12 October it matched the hotel’s own offer on the same card, 549,056 yen, beside the 2 bed types the official site sold for 2 guests: King at 549,080 yen and Twin at 561,840.

October 2026 held at 568,032 yen from the 14th to the 31st, and November at 606,336 yen on 26 of its 30 nights. December opened lower, at 491,488 yen on most nights to the 18th, with 414,928 yen on Monday 7 and Wednesday 9 December. January 2027, from the 4th, alternated between 389,408 and 392,656 yen. February was the cheapest month of the year: 319,392 yen on 24 nights and 331,760 on the other 4.

2 stretches stood far above the rest. Over Christmas and New Year the calendar showed 701,800 yen from 19 December, 880,440 yen on 21, 22, 24 and 25 December, and 740,080 yen from 29 December to 2 January. Aman’s terms for its Japan journey call 20 December 2026 to 3 January 2027 peak season, and 15 March to 5 May 2027 as well. Inside that second window the calendar had no price from 20 to 28 March or from 30 March to 2 April. Monday 29 March stood alone at 2,373,760 yen, 4 and 5 April at 2,041,984, and the other nights from 3 to 10 April at 1,110,464 yen or more. On 11 April the figure was back at 587,360.

Late spring settled in between: a middle night of 561,824 yen in May, with a low of 408,720 on Wednesday 5 May, and 472,512 in June. Then every night of July and August 2027, all 62 of them, was 357,680 yen.

4 days earlier we had looked at one night more closely. On 7 October 2026 the calendar gave 536,320 yen for 8 October, and the hotel’s own link on Google’s card carried the same total for a Tokyo Suite, 116,320 yen of it marked as taxes and charges. The link did not divide that sum between service charge, consumption tax and Tokyo’s accommodation tax. 7 nights were read on both days and none moved by more than 1,400 yen: 24 December stayed at 880,440, and 18 October went from 566,681 to 568,032.

What the hotel’s own rate buys is on its accommodation page: daily breakfast, refreshments in the suite except alcohol, welcome amenities, the scheduled wellness classes when there is space, and the 30-metre pool, Japanese-style baths, steam rooms and fitness centre. The in-room breakfast menu prices its American set at 8,048 yen, a figure to keep in mind if another seller’s rate leaves breakfast out. Menus are printed with service and tax already inside: 16% service at Arva, 15% at the spa, and 10% consumption tax on both.

On Google, guests treat the price as a decision more than a grievance. One, in October 2026, called it «eye-watering» and advised booking no more than 2 nights. Another, writing in January 2026 after a week in mid-December, had booked a Tokyo Suite through a travel adviser and was moved up to a Garden View Suite; the juices and snacks in the minibar were free, the beer was not. A one-star review of May 2026 calls the hotel overpriced.

The year at Aman Tokyo has a floor and 2 spikes. For 90 nights, in February, July and August, the calendar stayed between 319,392 and 357,680 yen; November sat at about 606,000 almost throughout. The spikes are the fortnight over New Year and the days where March turns into April, when one night cost more than 7 times the February figure.
