On rue Stanislas, between the Luxembourg Gardens and the boulevard du Montparnasse, Le Six has a hammam that costs its guests nothing; you just book it. There is no restaurant, though, so dinner means going out.

Like a regular

  1. Drinks with the manager

Once a week the general manager shares an aperitif with guests at the bar, each time with one region of France and a typical drink from it.

  2. Before Christmas, not New Year

On Google Hotels the night of 20 December is €163; New Year’s Eve is €356, more than double.

  3. Ask for a topper

Some find the beds firm. In September 2025 one guest mentioned it at reception and found a topper on the mattress when they got back; in January 2026 another suggests asking for one.

What Hôtel Le Six is

It is a 4-star hotel of 41 rooms in a Haussmann-style building, one of Les Maisons de Georges. Its main room is the winter garden, with daylight all year and deep armchairs for anything from a meeting to a drink; the other corners are a small sitting room with a fireplace, the lounge and an alcove in the breakfast room. Hot and cold drinks, local wine and cocktails come to any of these corners, with sweet and savoury nibbles.

How we choose the hotels

The 5 things that matter, as guests tell them

What do Hôtel Le Six’s guests say? They write it in their reviews, even those who only came for a drink or dinner: we read every one and tell the 5 things that matter, from the location to the bill.

  1. Location

Nearly every guest who mentions it is happy with it. Guests describe a quiet street with cafés and restaurants a few steps away; one says you can walk along the Seine to Saint-Germain, and another finds it handy for an evening at a Montparnasse theatre.

  2. Room

8 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. Guests find the rooms clean and comfortable, and the beds win praise. Yet 7 describe noise reaching the room: talking and suitcases in the corridor, footsteps from upstairs, the street, and a low hum that 2 of them reported without a fix.

  3. Staff and service

9 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. At reception guests find advice on restaurants and getting around, and the same receptionist is named in 25 reviews. A welcome of cookies or chocolates, sometimes with a note, comes up in 5 reviews.

  4. Breakfast

2 guests call it simple but good; another lists fresh bread, eggs, cold meats, cheese and fresh-squeezed juice, with cappuccinos made to order.

  5. Price

Few mention the price, 6 in 2 years, and they don’t agree.

84 guests said so on Google, from 17 November 2024 to 21 October 2026. Google reviews with text from 28 October 2024 to 28 October 2026; up to the latest 500. The other hotels are the ones weighed for a stay in Paris: for each we read its latest 500 Google reviews with text, or all of them where there are fewer, as of 29 October 2026. The score is the average of what they say, from 0 if they speak of it very badly to 10 if they speak of it very well. Where only a few mention something, the score stays close to the guide’s average: a handful of voices does not make a reputation.

The hotels we weigh it against in Paris:

Price: for 2, the night of 9 December 2026, from €192 on Google Hotels on 28 October 2026.

Before your stay

How much is a night at Hôtel Le Six?

For one night for 2: €235 on 17 November 2026, €216 on 15 December 2026, €205 on 19 January 2027. Room category, taxes and fees aren’t specified. Google Hotels prices, checked on 28 October 2026.

How much is breakfast?

€26 per adult. You can add it at any point in your stay by telling the front desk; it runs from 7am to 10am on weekdays and until 11am at weekends. It isn’t open to non-residents.

Are there family rooms?

Yes. For 3 or more, the hotel points to the suite, the Deluxe and the connecting rooms.

Are there accessible rooms?

The hotel has 2 rooms for disabled guests and a lift to every floor; the spa is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp or lift. One guest, in June 2026, found the hotel poorly suited to disabled travellers.

How do I get here from Charles de Gaulle airport?

The hotel runs no transfer service and suggests Get Transfer, an independent company. One guest, in June 2026, says Port-Royal station is a 10–15 minute walk, with direct trains to CDG. If reception calls you a cab, ask the fare first: in 2025 2 guests paid more than they expected; in one case it was a private car, €40 to the Gare de Lyon.
