La Grande Table du Plaza Athénée
A 6-course dinner at €295, with a separate published programme for 31 December 2026.
The red awnings of Avenue Montaigne, then a room with the outlook you chose.
A week here, month by monthPlaza Athénée suits those who want to choose their outlook among 22 categories: nights start at €1,596 from 3 to 8 January 2027, the lowest price any seller showed on Google for one night. For swimming I would choose another address, as the hotel’s pages list no pool.
Rooms and availability on the official site Plaza Athénée restaurant Plaza Athénée barDoes it suit you?
5 pairs of hotels, and the guide tells you whether this one suits you.
For the Eiffel Tower from a balcony, I would ask for the Deluxe Suite, Avenue Montaigne View with Balcony: 60 m², with its own balcony over Avenue Montaigne, a view of the tower and a king-size bed.
From 3 to 7 November 2026, nights held between €1,629 and €1,671 for 2 adults on Google, read 13 October 2026. In the dearest week, 14 to 20 June 2027, they ran from €2,880 to €3,002.
Rates are per room, per night, with VAT included; Paris adds its tourist tax for a Palace, €15.93 per adult per night since 1 January 2026, read 15 October 2026. An extra bed for guests from 13 is €105, says the rooms page.
In the festive season the courtyard holds a small ice rink, which the hotel’s festive offer invites guests to try; 8 guests mention it, and 3 pair afternoon tea with their children’s skating.
The 154 rooms and 54 suites are divided into 22 categories, from 25 to 450 m². For the Eiffel Tower from your room, choose a category that names it; a Deluxe may face the courtyard or Avenue Montaigne. Select a balcony at booking too, from the room types that provide one. official catalogue
At La Grande Table, dinner is a 6-course menu costing €295. Le Relais Plaza offers a brasserie evening; courtyard dining at La Cour Jardin follows the season. Its page announces closure after lunch on 8 October without giving the year in that sentence, so confirm service for your dates. La Grande Table
Come to Dior Spa for massages, facials and Light Suite phototherapy. For a sauna in your room, look at Terrace Duplex, which has a private one. I would choose another address for swimming: Google Hotels marks the pool and hot tub unavailable, and Agoda’s pool description is not supported by the official sources consulted. Dior Spa
The Google calendar read on 13 October 2026 gives €1,632 for 16 November and €1,778 for 15 December, without specifying room or inclusions. Suite pages publish return transfers, while Arrive Early, Stay Late excludes Signature Suites. These are separate benefits with separate eligibility.

What do Plaza Athénée’s guests say? They write it in their reviews, even those who only came for a drink or dinner: we read every one and tell the 5 things that matter, from the location to the bill.
9 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. The Avenue Montaigne address pleases those who return to Paris: guests write about a location that makes the city easy and the Eiffel Tower seen from the balconies.
8 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. Guests write about the beds and pillows, the linen and, in the categories that have it, the Eiffel Tower from the window or the balcony.
7 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. What stays with guests is the personal attention: flowers in the room for a birthday, concierges who make a request happen, staff on hand from the doorman to housekeeping.
8 in 10 guests who mention it are happy with it. Guests write about the room where breakfast is served, all gilding and chandeliers, the choice of sweet and savoury, and the brunch, which also draws people who are not staying.

The scores come from 500 Google reviews with text, left from 30 April 2023 to 1 October 2026. The sample includes stays and restaurant, bar or spa visits reviewed on the same Google listing; it is not restricted to overnight stays. The other hotels are the ones weighed for a stay in Paris: for each we read its latest 500 Google reviews with text, or all of them where there are fewer, as of 1 October 2026. The score is the average of what they say, from 0 if they speak of it very badly to 10 if they speak of it very well. Where only a few mention something, the score stays close to the guide’s average: a handful of voices does not make a reputation.
The hotels we weigh it against in Paris:

Breakfast is generally an extra, starting at €60 per person. The Bed & Breakfast rate specifically includes daily American breakfast for 2. The linked breakfast and brunch PDFs include VAT but exclude the 5% employee contribution; dinner and tea menus include it. These different terms, observed on 1 October 2026, should be applied to each meal and rate separately.
Dior Spa has body massages and facials; the Light Suite is a light-therapy treatment room. The treatment brochure prices D-Tissue at €280 for 60 minutes or €360 for 90, Skin Atelier at €700 for 90 minutes, and the Light Suite supplement at €170. Yes. Hôtel Plaza Athénée is on Atout France’s Palace list. The current overview counts 154 rooms and 54 suites, 208 units altogether. The 22 categories in this guide describe room types rather than physical room inventory. Its address is 25 Avenue Montaigne, 75008 Paris, and its official opening date is 20 April 1913.
On 1 October 2026, Google Hotels displays 4.6/5 from 2,896 ratings, Tripadvisor 4.7/5 from 1,062 reviews, Booking 9.2/10 from 230, Expedia 9.4/10 from 289 and Agoda 9.2/10 from 327. Each has its own scale and denominator. Booking’s location subset has 219 responses, rather than its 230 overall reviews. Google’s theme mentions can overlap and do not establish an overnight-guests-only judgement. See the Google listing and Booking listing.
In the latest 500 written reviews, from 30 April 2023 to 1 October 2026, location is what guests write about most warmly: 94% of those who mention it are happy. The beds, breakfast and the staff’s personal attention also recur. Guests repeatedly mention waits to order and to be served, both at breakfast and at the bar. Those writing include restaurant, bar and spa visitors who did not stay the night.
The Salon Haute Couture has 150 m², with published capacities of 110 banquet guests, 150 for cocktails, 130 theatre-style or 75 classroom-style. The layout determines the count; 150 is not a universal wedding limit. The wedding, event-space and floorplan sources checked on 1 October 2026 do not establish a current package price, a buyout minimum or a separate ceremony capacity.
The hotel’s pages list no swimming pool. Google Hotels explicitly marks pool and hot tub unavailable; the official Dior Spa sources describe treatments, gym, sauna and steam rooms. The hotel has no swimming pool: the official spa page, read on 15 October 2026, lists treatments, a gym, sauna and steam room, and no pool.
The official table gives resident gym hours of 06:00–22:00 and non-resident hours of 08:00–21:00. External fitness memberships include sauna and steam rooms; a treatment booking is a separate entitlement. A monthly membership costs €650 and a private session €150, according to the fitness-studio brochure that the official spa page links for membership options, read on 15 October 2026. Google’s free-fitness label does not establish free treatments or unrestricted non-resident access. A separately priced day pass has not been verified.
The official catalogue has 4 room types, 4 junior suites, 8 suites and 6 Signature categories. It runs from the 25 m² Classic Single for one guest to the 450 m² Royal Suite for 8. Eiffel views and balconies belong to named categories; the Terrace Duplex instead has a terrace and private sauna. All 14 suite and Signature leaves publish complimentary round-trip transfers; room and junior-suite benefit lists do not. The 95 m² and 83 m² balcony Prestige Suite Avenue Montaigne pages explicitly mention airport or railway-station transfers, but the airport list and eligibility of every rate remain unverified. According to the official pages, read on 15 October 2026, the Prestige Junior Suite has an Avenue Montaigne view and the Terrace Duplex measures 98 m². The hotel describes the outlook as “quiet inner courtyard”; soundproofing is not guaranteed by that wording.
No seasonal closure of the entire hotel has been established. Outlet schedules differ. La Cour Jardin’s page, read on 1 October 2026, announced closure after lunch on 8 October without a year in that sentence; on 11 October 2026 that page no longer opened. The linked menu is dated 2026, but the notice itself leaves the year unstated. Its “12.00–10.00 am” hours are ambiguous and are not silently changed to 22:00. La Terrasse lists 15 April–31 October, and La Grande Table a 24–28 December closure without an inline year. The 2026 festive programme gives the winter chalet dates as 26 November–31 January. These are outlet notices rather than a hotel closure.
The address is 25 Avenue Montaigne, in the Golden Triangle of the 8th arrondissement. The OSRM pedestrian route calculated on 1 October 2026 returns 1,375 metres and 18 minutes to the Eiffel Tower; the Alma-Marceau route gives 384 metres and 5 minutes. These are static coordinate-based estimates, without guarantees for crossings, accessibility or individual walking pace. This guide’s map marks the hotel only.
The official rooms FAQ welcomes up to 2 small dogs per room, under 7 kg/15 lb. The overview specifies €40 per animal per day and exempts assistance dogs from its pet rules. Dogs must be on a lead or in a carrier in public areas; at La Galerie they must be in a bag or basket, or at the foot of the table for larger dogs. Declare pets when booking. They are excluded from Le Relais Plaza, the gastronomic restaurant, La Cour Jardin, La Terrasse Montaigne, the bar and Dior Spa. The official site, read on 15 October 2026, speaks only of dogs (2 per room at €40 a day each), and the French version of the overview says “two dogs per room”; it does not mention cats.
An extra bed costs €105 from age 13 and is free for younger children, according to the rooms FAQ, the page the rooms are booked from, read on 15 October 2026 in English and French; cots are free under 3, and category occupancy and extra-bed availability still apply. Family Time offers 50% off a second room for stays until 31 December 2026, with connecting-room or 2-bedroom conditions. It does not establish connecting rooms for every category.
Standard check-in is from 15:00 and checkout at 12:00. The hotel’s rooms FAQ, read on 15 October 2026, guarantees early check-in or late check-out of up to one hour, subject to availability, and charges an extra night for a check-out after 16:00. Arrive Early, Stay Late has its own eligibility conditions, described above; it does not replace the standard times for all bookings.
The official FAQ separates complimentary parking in front of the hotel from underground parking at €45 per day. The overview shortens this to “from €45”; complimentary forecourt parking is not a promise that every space is free. Expedia lists an EV charging station, but connector type, charging price, availability and reservation terms are not established by a checked primary source. The parking tariff does not prove charging is included.
14 suite and Signature categories publish complimentary round-trip transfers. The 95 m² and 83 m² balcony Prestige Suite Avenue Montaigne pages specify airport or railway-station endpoints; the exact airport list and eligibility of every rate remain unverified. The overview offers airport transfers on request. For Gare du Nord, the homepage says 20 minutes and the factsheet under a 2026/02 path says 30, with neither specifying transport mode or traffic. The static OSRM car route to the returned CDG airport geocode gives 30.8 km and 38 minutes, excluding live traffic, terminal selection and pickup waits.
