La Mamounia prices per night: a year in dirhams, month by month, and the hotel’s own rates

The calendar here is Google Hotels’, for one night and 2 adults, read on 11 October 2026 in dirhams, the currency the hotel sells in. It had a price for 213 of the 385 nights to 31 October 2027, and 204 of them fall before mid-June. Each figure is the lowest price Google showed for that night. Google names no room and does not say whether the sojourn tax is inside, so use it to compare dates. The median night was 8,431 dirhams in what was left of October and 13,668 in November. From December it settles: 6,980 in December and in January, about 7,200 in February, 7,320 in March, then 7,784 in April and in May.

Winter is the low season of this calendar. From 28 November 2026 to 25 March 2027, 100 of the 104 nights with a price stood at 7,500 dirhams or less. The floor is the third week of January: 5,853 dirhams on Sunday the 17th, 5,036 on Monday the 18th, then 5,616, 5,661, 5,774 and 5,911 to Friday the 22nd; Friday 11 December showed 5,583. Autumn runs on 2 levels. In November, 14 nights sat between 6,980 and 8,711 dirhams and the other 15 between 13,668 and 21,161, with Saturday 7 November the highest. October had 5 such nights, the 16th, 20th, 21st, 26th and 28th, each above 19,000. Later peaks are few: 17,472 dirhams for 24 December, and 18,459, 18,034 and 13,019 from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 March 2027.

The gaps matter as much as the prices. Google showed no one-night price from 25 December to 2 January, nor from 25 February to 1 March, nor for 30 and 31 October. On the hotel’s own booking calendar the last 2 carry a condition: 30 October was marked «3 nights minimum» and 31 October «2 nights minimum», each from 21,799 dirhams a night, and its questions and answers say a minimum stay is required in certain periods, among them Easter, All Saints and the year-end festivities. From mid-May the calendar thins, and after 15 June 2027 it had a price on 9 nights only, between 21,859 dirhams for 21 July and 92,352 for 6 September. Google gives no room for them; on the hotel’s engine, a January night above 75,000 dirhams was an Al Mamoun Suite or a riad.

La Mamounia’s own site gives a second reading, and it sits above Google’s. Its booking calendar, opened the same day, showed October night by night, and October only: we could not read the later months. It gave from 9,099 dirhams on 9 nights, among them the 12th to the 15th, where Google’s lowest ran from 7,997 to 8,431, and from 21,799 on the 20th and 21st, where Google showed 20,612 and 20,243. Saturday 24 October was marked not available, and had no price on Google either. On one night the 2 are far apart: for 29 October the hotel’s calendar said from 21,799 dirhams and Google showed 8,975. Neither source names the room or the seller behind its figure, so nothing we read shows that the 2 are pricing the same thing, and neither gives a reason for the gap. We then opened the hotel’s booking engine for the cheapest night of the year, 18 January 2027. It listed a Classic Hivernage Twin Room at 6,500 dirhams, a Superior Hivernage Room at 7,000, the Deluxe rooms from 11,000 to 11,800 and suites from 16,900, up to 91,100 for a riad. Google’s 5,036 for that night is 1,464 dirhams lower, and the calendar does not say who sells it.

We opened one of the dear nights on the engine too, and one only. For Saturday 7 November 2026 it listed no Classic and no Superior room: the list began with a Deluxe Koutoubia twin at 21,700 dirhams, against 11,000 for the same room in January, and Google’s lowest was 21,161. For 12 October, the one night where Google listed its sellers, the calendar’s 8,290 dirhams was Agoda’s price; the hotel’s own link showed 9,099, Hotels.com 9,140 and Expedia 9,151 for a Classic twin room. And the nights we had read on 1 October were all cheaper 10 days on: 11 December fell from 7,139 to 5,583 dirhams, 19 January from 6,200 to 5,616, 28 November from 7,404 to 6,980.

What is added is short. The hotel’s Q&A says a tax of 10% is included in the price of a room or suite and that a sojourn tax of 49.50 dirhams per person per day is paid in addition; its booking engine marks each rate «Including all fees» without listing them. Take the January night: 6,500 dirhams for the Classic twin room, and 99 dirhams more for 2 guests if the sojourn tax is charged on top, 6,599. Breakfast is outside the room rate, and the hotel gives its price on request. A guest writing in December 2025 counted the small buffet breakfast and the transfer among add-ons of 500 to 600 dirhams.

Guests who name a figure in their Google reviews mostly give it in euros. One, in July 2026, paid just under €700 a night and found the bathroom dark and small; another, in June 2026, more than €1,400 a night for a suite whose furnishings seemed old. A family whose stay had been paid in full since June wrote in August 2026 that a deposit of €4,000 was asked on arrival, and that an immediate bank transfer was refused when the bank held up the card. A guest in October 2025 was told at breakfast that it came with the room and learnt at check-out that it did not. One, in August 2026, was handed another room’s bill, more than €1,500 too high, and noticed just before leaving for the airport.

On every night in the table the hotel’s own figure stood above Google’s lowest for La Mamounia: by 1,464 dirhams for 18 January 2027, by 539 for 7 November 2026. Royal Mansour, the other Marrakech palace in this guide, sat far higher on the same calendar: of the 199 nights for which both had a price, La Mamounia was the lower on 190.

The 2 sell different things. Royal Mansour’s rooms are all riads, and when we read its prices on 2 October 2026 the 2 rates we checked had breakfast and taxes inside Google’s figure; at La Mamounia the cheapest room on the hotel’s own engine is a twin room, with breakfast to add.
