Mezze and shawarma make a meal

House hummus2 comes with tahini and chickpea barbacoa; babaghanoush and labneh add peppers, herbs and spices. These are dishes for the middle of the table.

The rib-eye shawarma2 has a chilli-ash crust, herbs and greens from La Ceiba, bara chicken sauce and naan. Catch-of-the-day tiradito takes another route, with coconut milk, jicama, coriander seeds, jalapeño and chives.

Baklava2 brings together pistachios, walnuts, cinnamon and 5 spices with pistachio ice cream. Roasted apricots with Amaretto are served with goat’s-cheese ice cream, chocolate and pistachio.
