Claridge’s Bar opens at noon and closes at 1am Monday–Saturday, midnight on Sunday. David Collins Studio designed its Art Deco interior. Order a martini made with No.3 gin for £25, or Claridge’s gin for £30; the drinks menu also lists the £25 Garibaldi, with Campari, orange and passion fruit, and the Flapper, with strawberries, cassis and Billecart-Salmon.

For something substantial with the drinks, the September 2026 food menu has a £48 beef burger with Comté, onion rings and fries, a £45 lobster roll and £62 lobster rigatoni. Book the bar online; its terrace takes walk-ins, though check that it is open for your visit. Both food and drinks carry a discretionary 15% service charge.

The Fumoir keeps the same opening hours but takes no reservations. Its 1929 origins, Thierry Despont interior, Lalique crystal panels and William Klein portraits give you a different room for a drink. The Bright Young Things menu has a £55 Old Fashioned with Macallan 18, Chita, sherry and maple; its £85 Martini uses Beluga Gold Line, vintage vermouth and caviar. Those are the special-menu drinks, rather than a guide to every cocktail’s price.

The Painter’s Room opens Tuesday–Saturday, 4.30pm–midnight, with online bookings and walk-ins for hotel guests and visitors. Annie Morris’s art accompanies the pink onyx bar. Its sample menu from May 2026 lists the Flamingo at £20 and the Painter’s Negroni at £18, plus discretionary 15% service. If the table matters, book and ask about it.

For a Sunday afternoon drink, Claridge’s Bar and the Fumoir are the relevant rooms on the published timetable; the Painter’s Room opens Tuesday to Saturday only. Reserve Claridge’s Bar for a booked Sunday table; the Fumoir takes walk-ins. For an evening with children staying at the hotel, the 6pm cut-off at Bar and Fumoir also matters more than their late closing time.

To gauge a meal at Claridge’s Bar, a £48 burger and a £25 No.3 gin martini come to £73 before the discretionary service charge. If the listed 15% is applied, that example becomes £83.95. This example adds up one food order and one drink at the linked menu prices. Ordering the £30 Claridge’s gin version changes the drink choice and the total; moving to the Fumoir’s special-menu Martini changes both the room and the drink altogether. Name the cocktail as well as the bar if you are enquiring about a particular order or occasion.
