Claridge’s spa: hammam and pool time before your treatment
Claridge’s spa: hammam in pink onyx, a heated pool beneath a vaulted ceiling, massages and facials. Book a treatment of at least 90 minutes and you can use the facilities for up to 2 hours beforehand; a 60-minute massage is a different booking choice.

The choice, in short
When to look elsewhere
The complimentary facilities window is before a treatment of at least 90 minutes, not after every appointment.
Other London spasA massage, silk facial or Pink Room hammam
Allow time for the facilities before your appointment.
The June 2026 brochure prices the Bespoke Massage at £250 for 60 minutes or £290 for 90 minutes. The longer appointment includes a 10-minute welcoming foot ceremony. Treatments lasting at least 90 minutes come with up to 2 hours’ complimentary use of the spa facilities beforehand.
The Bamboo & Silk Ritual lasts 90 minutes and costs £330. It begins with the foot ceremony, then uses koji, bamboo and warm poultices before a silk facial. The 120-minute Omorovicza Signature Treatment is £390.
For a hammam, choose the Pink Room: a heated pink-onyx bed, steam, charcoal and a Kese mitt, followed by a body mask and hair wash. The brochure lists the Signature Hammam at £350 for 90 minutes and the Bespoke Hammam at £300 for 60 minutes.
The heated pool, designed by André Fu, sits beneath a ceiling of repeated vaults, with stone columns and cabanas nearby. There are separate saunas in the men’s and women’s changing rooms, plus a steam room.
The difference between the 2 Bespoke Massage appointments is £40: £250 for 60 minutes against £290 for 90. The extra £40 buys a longer treatment and reaches the facilities-access threshold. The 90-minute booking meets the published duration threshold for complimentary facilities beforehand; the 60-minute version does not. Choose it because you want the longer appointment and can make use of the earlier arrival window. The same duration test applies when comparing the 60-minute and 90-minute hammams.
For example, a qualifying treatment at 3pm can have a facilities window beginning up to 2 hours earlier, at 1pm. Use this example to plan your arrival and the facilities time before your appointment. Agree your arrival with the spa and allow time to change before the treatment. If morning swimming is your priority, remember that the published family session occupies 8–10am. A guest wanting a particular pool atmosphere can ask how that session fits their visit before fixing the treatment time.
For a longer visit, arrange any food through the spa: only food purchased there may be consumed inside. Glass containers are excluded from the pool, fitness and changing areas.
