Fontainebleau Miami Beach pool: access and cabanas
The Fontainebleau Miami Beach pool deck includes the Bowtie and Oasis pools, with cabanas, loungers and drinks from Glow Bar. The published deck rules require a room key and wristband: ordinary chairs are first come, first served, while cabanas have a separate reservation.

The choice, in short
Why choose Fontainebleau Miami Beach
A pool day with a cabana, lunch and cocktails close by.
Pool-day essentialsWhen to look elsewhere
Ordinary chairs cannot be reserved; belongings left unattended for more than 45 minutes are removed.
Other Miami poolsBowtie, Oasis and a place in the shade
Decide whether you want an ordinary lounger or a reserved cabana before planning the day.
The pool deck opens daily from 6.30am to sunset. Glow Bar serves the Bowtie and Oasis pools, while Fresh delivers snacks, salads, sandwiches and sweets poolside. A cabana gives you a reserved base; the hotel takes reservations online or through 305 538 2000.
For ordinary chairs, the rules are specific: one per guest, allocated first come, first served, with no reservations. Leave belongings unattended for more than 45 minutes and staff may remove them to lost property. Bring your room key and wristband for access to the deck.
Families with infants or toddlers need swim nappies in the water; complimentary ones are available at the towel hut. Outside food and drink are not permitted on the deck, and pets are not allowed. For a visit without a room, the separate Fontainebleau booking site lists Arkadia Day Club. Check the access included in that particular reservation before paying.
The hotel currently gives sunset as its closing time; ask which pools will be open on your dates if swimming is the reason for your stay.
For a full day outdoors, decide how you want to handle lunch before choosing your seat. Fresh delivers salads, sandwiches, snacks and sweets poolside, so you can eat on the deck without bringing food from elsewhere. If you prefer to leave for a restaurant meal, take your belongings with you: the ordinary chair policy gives staff permission to remove items after more than 45 minutes unattended. A towel left behind does not reserve the chair. On returning, choose from the chairs then available rather than planning the afternoon around a seat you occupied earlier.
A cabana is the option to enquire about when a reserved base matters to your group. Give the hotel your date and number of people, then ask for the rate and what the particular reservation provides before paying. Ask how many people the cabana accommodates, which hours it covers and whether the price includes food credit or drinks. For someone visiting without a hotel room, the separate Arkadia booking needs a different confirmation: which pool and amenities that day-visitor offer admits you to. The guest-deck rule asks for a room key and wristband, so a cabana enquiry alone should not stand in for confirmed access for an outside visitor.
