LIV Miami is the nightclub inside Fontainebleau Miami Beach, a room under a dome with a stage, a balcony and 4 bars, holding up to 1,000 people. In the 1950s and 60s the same space was the La Ronde Room, whose stage Frank Sinatra was the first to play, followed by Sammy Davis Jr., Elvis Presley and Tony Bennett.

Under the dome

For its tenth season LIV reopened after a $10 million renovation, which David Grutman, owner of Groot Hospitality, handed to the design firm ICRAVE.¹

The dome’s steel truss, known as “The Spider”, carries more than 400 screens; the stage is projection-mapped, with a large LED screen.¹

During Miami Music Week 2025 the stage saw Tiësto, Black Coffee and 50 Cent; for Art Basel 2024, DJ Khaled and Lil Wayne.⁴

The night’s tables

On the mezzanine, Balcony VIP tables for 8 with 4 men at most, and a Sky Box for 12 with 8 men at most.
On the main floor, tables for 8 with 4 men at most, and for 12 with 8 men at most.
On the dance floor and in front of the stage, tables for up to 15 with 8 men at most; behind the stage, Back Stage for 8.

Arriving

Entrance	There is a private VIP entrance and valet service.¹
Age and ID	Entry is 21 and over with a physical ID; anyone who does not live in the US needs a passport, and photos or digital copies are refused.⁴

Can a LIV ticket be refunded or transferred?

No: it is valid only for the person who bought it, and the ID shown at the door must carry the same name. A refund goes back to the original form of payment only if the night is cancelled with no new date.⁴

Can girls wear jeans to LIV?

Jeans are not on the banned list unless excessively baggy; for women the rule is about shoes: heels are required and flats are turned away.⁴

Is LIV hard to get into?

The door staff decide at their sole discretion, hotel guests included, and LIV can close to the public for special events or private parties.⁹

What music does LIV play?

It depends on the night and the artist: electronic dance music, hip-hop and Top 40.⁴
