Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur unveiled 51 refurbished apartments on 20 October 2026, with kitchens and washer-dryers. For a family or a longer visit, I would compare these before adding a second hotel room: layouts run from 1 to 3 bedrooms.

What changes

The apartments occupy floors 4 to 8 of the hotel, beside the Petronas Twin Towers. They welcome short and extended stays, so having a sitting room, dining area and kitchen does not require moving to a separate residence.1

One-bedroom apartments start at 75 m², two-bedrooms at 123 m² and three-bedrooms at 152 m². The equipped kitchen includes a washer-dryer. That matters when you return with children’s clothes to wash and would rather make supper than arrange another outing.1

Guests retain access to the 27-metre outdoor pool, 24-hour gym and round-the-clock in-room dining. Suria KLCC shopping centre connects directly to the hotel. Ask about the apartment’s view before booking: a city outlook, the park and the towers are different choices.1
