The Broadmoor restaurant guide: lakeside pasta, Sunday brunch or Seven Falls?
For a Broadmoor restaurant by the lake, choose Ristorante del Lago for Italian food or Lake Terrace for breakfast and Sunday brunch. Restaurant 1858 is a different outing: it sits inside Seven Falls, where paid park admission is required.

The choice, in short
Why choose The Broadmoor
Lakeside Italian food without turning dinner into a separate excursion.
Lake Terrace brunchWhen to look elsewhere
Restaurant 1858 requires paid Seven Falls admission; del Lago is closed on Tuesdays.
Other Colorado Springs tablesPasta by the lake, or lunch beneath the falls
The setting changes the whole outing: Cheyenne Lake is at the hotel; Seven Falls requires a park visit.
Ristorante del Lago is on the lobby level of Broadmoor West, looking over Cheyenne Lake. Its kitchen makes fresh pasta, with a $37 rigatoni alla bolognese using Eagles Nest Ranch Wagyu beef, $34 lasagne and a $21 margherita pizza. The menu adds a 20% service charge.
Lake Terrace Dining Room serves breakfast from Monday to Saturday and a reserved Sunday brunch. Brunch costs $110 for adults and $55 for children aged 10 or under, plus a 20% service charge. Expect 12 chef-attended stations, a raw bar, prime rib, live piano and included house Champagne.
Restaurant 1858 stands at the base of Seven Falls. Its wood-burning grill and Colorado menu include red trout, bison burgers and wild-boar green chilli. The paid park entrance is part of this meal’s budget, and the shuttle arrangements depend on whether you are staying overnight or visiting for the day.
For a family brunch calculation, 2 adults and two 10-year-olds total $330 at the published rates; the 20% service charge brings that example to $396. Keep the cancellation deadline with the reservation: the $50-per-guest charge applies during the 48 hours before your reserved sitting. If you prefer a single pasta or pizza to a full brunch, del Lago is a different style of meal, while Restaurant 1858 needs the additional planning and admission cost of a Seven Falls visit.

5 things to decide before setting out
- Book del Lago on the right day
Open Monday and Wednesday–Sunday. Breakfast is 7–11am, dinner 5–9pm and the bar 4–10pm. Tuesday needs another restaurant.
- Reserve Lake Terrace
Brunch runs 9am–1pm and is open to both overnight guests and the public. Cancel at least 48 hours ahead to avoid the $50-per-guest cancellation fee.
- Walk into Lake Terrace
Monday–Saturday breakfast runs 7–11am and requires no reservation. It is on the mezzanine level of Broadmoor Main.
- Arrange Restaurant 1858 and park access
Book through the dining team. Overnight guests have a complimentary shuttle from the West entrance; day visitors use the complimentary shuttle at Norris Penrose Event Center. Park admission is still paid.
- Ask for the group arrangement
At del Lago and 1858, groups of 13 or more guests aged 12 and over, require specialised menus and reservations.
