Other Strip spas

2 towers, one spa, and a corridor of hot and cold rooms

Canyon Ranch runs the spa, the salon and the 3 gyms of The Venetian and The Palazzo as one address.

Canyon Ranch gives its Las Vegas spa as 134,000 square feet, and its day-pass page calls it North America’s largest day spa. It has 2 doors: on the 4th floor of the Venetian tower, by the suite elevator near the Venetian pool entrance, and on the 3rd floor of the Palazzo tower, near the Palazzo pool entrance. The Venetian’s page lists it as a Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star spa, open every day from 6am to 8pm, with a salon that works from 9am to 7pm.

What sets it apart from a treatment-room spa is the suite the resort calls Aquavana and the service menu lists as experiential rooms. There is a Crystal Steam Room, which the menu calls aromatic, a Cold Plunge, a Herbal Laconium of gentle humidity and botanical scents, a Hydrospa that massages with pulsing fountains, an Igloo of cold mist and an Infrared Sauna. For sitting between rounds there are a Lounge, described as a quiet room, and a Conservatory with music, fresh fruit and drinks. The Salt Grotto, with heated benches around a bubbling fountain, and the Wave Room, which simulates the look and feel of breaking waves under a domed canopy, are the 2 the menu lists as co-ed.

The massage list runs from the house Canyon Ranch Massage, at $200 for 50 minutes, $310 for 80 and $400 for 100 from Monday to Thursday, to a 75-minute Canyon Ranch Stone Massage with heated basalt at $310. Deep Tissue is $210 or $330. Under the heading «From the East» come Thai massage on a floor mat and Shiatsu, both $210 for 50 minutes, and Ashiatsu, where the therapist holds overhead bars and works with the feet, $320 for 80 minutes. The Tranquility Massage, also 80 minutes and $320, adds soft brushes and a soundtrack and is sold as a way to sleep. Each of these costs $20 more from Friday to Sunday.

For 2, the Couples Retreat lasts 100 minutes in the couples ritual room: a scalp massage, a full-body exfoliation, a shower, a bath for 2 and then the massage, at $410 per person from Monday to Thursday and $430 from Friday to Sunday. Most other massages can be taken side by side for a surcharge of $20 per person. The menu also has 2 ritual baths: the Euphoria King’s Bath, 100 minutes of scalp massage, body scrub, soak and massage for $370, and the Serenity Bath & Massage, 80 minutes for $320. Facials start at $220 for 50 minutes; the HydraFacial MD is $320, or $420 for 80 minutes.

The list price is short of the bill. The menu says a recommended gratuity of 15% is added to each service, which the guest may change, together with a 5% service charge that is fixed. The menu does not say what the 5% is calculated on; if both are taken on the list price, a $200 massage comes to $240, which is our arithmetic and not a figure the spa prints. Until 30 November 2026 the Autumn Harvest offer pairs the Harvest Radiance Facial with a 50-minute Immunity Boost Massage at 15% off both: $366.50 from Monday to Thursday, $399.50 from Friday to Sunday, booked by telephone with the code HARVEST26 and before gratuity or service charge.

The gyms are a separate matter and, for hotel guests, already paid for: the resort fee of $55 a night plus tax covers the Canyon Ranch fitness centres for 2 people. There are 3 of them, on Level 4 of the Venetian North Tower, Level 3 of the Palazzo and Level 10 of the Venetian South Tower, the last open 24 hours. The 40-foot indoor climbing wall is charged apart, $39 for 25 minutes or $69 for 50 with shoes and helmet provided, and a drop-in class is $20.

Few of the 650 Google reviews we hold mention the spa. A guest writing in August 2026, after a week at the hotel, spent a whole day there. The review recommends the massage with the hair and scalp treatment and the foot scrub, notes that with an appointment «the rest of spa area was free to use until 8 pm», and names the jacuzzi, the steam room, the sauna, the salt room and the wave room. In May 2026 another guest wrote that the «steam room was the best».

From the booking to the bill

  • Pick Monday to Thursday

Massages, facials and body treatments are $20 cheaper then, and the hotel guest’s day pass is $100 against $150. Book online or on 702.414.3610; walk-ins are welcome without a guaranteed time.

  • Check in with a swimsuit and photo ID

The spa recommends arriving at least an hour ahead to use the rooms, and asks for photo ID and a credit card at check-in. Swimsuits are required in every area; forgotten items are sold on site.

  • Steam, laconium, cold plunge

The menu lists the heat and the cold first, then the Salt Grotto and the Wave Room under «Co-ed experiences». Canyon Ranch’s day-pass page counts the Conservatory, shared whirlpools and saunas among the co-ed areas too, so a couple can do part of the round together.

  • Lunch without leaving

Truth & Tonic is inside the spa on the Venetian’s 4th floor, next to the gym; Canyon Ranch Café is at the Palazzo entrance on the 3rd. Both ran a Harvest Happy Hour from 11am to 1pm when we read the page on 11 October 2026.

  • Cancel a full day ahead

Cancellations are accepted until 24 hours before the appointment; after that the whole fee is charged. The menu says moving an appointment on the day carries a charge; the Venetian’s page puts it at $35 for a change within 24 hours of the appointment.

One suite brings part of the spa upstairs: the Newly Remodeled Executive Wellness King Suite, 1,850 square feet, has a workout room, and the resort’s photograph of it shows a Peloton bike, a Tonal machine on the wall and a cedar-wood dry sauna. The menu’s in-suite list has a Canyon Ranch Massage at $270 for 50 minutes from Monday to Thursday. World of Hyatt Discoverist, Explorist, Globalist and Courtesy Card members who charge spa and salon services to the suite of a qualifying reservation get 15% off them, retail, food and drink excepted.

Swimsuits here, bare baths across the road

3 neighbours, each as its own page had it on 11 October 2026.

The plainest difference is dress. At Caesars Palace the Roman Baths of Qua Baths & Spa are separated by gender and clothing-optional, open daily from 7am to 6pm; a treatment brings them for the day and a 3-hour pass is sold at the spa reception. Canyon Ranch keeps everyone in a swimsuit and has rooms men and women share.

Sahra Spa at The Cosmopolitan is built round a hammam with a heated stone and prints the same $100 and $150 for a facility pass, adding that non-hotel guests must reserve a treatment to use the facilities. The Spa at Wynn, open 7am to 7pm, sells admission passes when space allows and prints no price for them.

The Venetian spa: your questions

Can you use The Venetian spa without staying at the hotel?

Yes. The Venetian says the spa, salon and gyms are open to all visitors. The menu includes the thermal rooms with a spa treatment, and the Venetian’s page words it as «qualifying spa services (typically those of $100 or more)»; without one, the visitor’s day pass is $125 from Monday to Thursday and $150 from Friday to Sunday.

How much is a day pass at Canyon Ranch Las Vegas?

For guests of The Venetian or The Palazzo, $100 from Monday to Thursday and $150 from Friday to Sunday; for everyone else $125 and $150. Canyon Ranch describes it as all-day access to the spa, the co-ed rooms, the gyms and the locker rooms, with robe and slippers.

How much is a massage at The Venetian?

From $200 for a 50-minute Canyon Ranch Massage or Sole Rejuvenation Foot Massage between Monday and Thursday, $220 from Friday to Sunday. The 80-minute massages are $310 to $340 on those cheaper days (price list).

Is the spa included in The Venetian’s resort fee?

No. The $55 nightly fee covers the fitness centres for 2 people. The thermal rooms come with a treatment or a day pass.

What is Aquavana?

Canyon Ranch’s name for its circuit of hot and cold rooms. The fitness page describes it as thermal and cooling rooms alongside a traditional Finnish sauna.

Do you need a swimsuit?

Yes, everywhere in the spa and at all times in the experiential rooms. Robes, slippers and showers are in the locker rooms.

Is the tip included in the price?

It is added afterwards. Expect a 15% gratuity, adjustable, and a 5% service charge on top of the menu price; the seasonal offers say their prices exclude both.

Can a teenager come?

With a parent or guardian, yes, from 14. The menu admits ages 14 to 17 to the gyms and to selected massages, bodywork and skincare when the parent books the same service; the Venetian’s page says only that they are welcome «for their service». Under 18 there is no full access to the spa facilities.

Can 2 people have a massage in the same room?

Yes. Most massages move to a couple’s room for $20 more per person, and the couples page lists the Canyon Ranch, Deep Tissue, Stone and Prenatal massages for 2. «Connect and Escape» is a pair of 80-minute massages with a $50 food and drink credit, booked with the code COUPLES.
